    I’m really lucky in that I’ve always been able to naturally hear harmonies…..never taken it for granted.

    The reason the minor third sometime sounds better is because it’s based on whatever major key the song is in.
    The chord value formula for the major scale is
    M-m-m-M-M-D
    M= Major chord
    m=minor chord
    D=diminished
    So In C major. The first chord will be a C Major chord. The second will be a D minor, so on and so forth in respect of the major scale.

    The secret to ear training, since we’re helping each other, is don’t give up. The excitement of learning something new comes in tiers with plateaus where it feels like you’re not getting any better. You just have to fight through it. Everyone I know goes through it. It just takes time and dedication. I’m in a major plateau right now, but I still pick up my instrument everyday as often as possible and play for at least 30 minutes.

    I love this video! I never thought about the pedal note before. I will definitely use this in my live looping moving forward. Thanks for posting!

      Take vocal lesson and a songwriter producer class. You Tube is a Great university, right. But to have everything in one place is so much easier.
