You guys nailed it: It's actually a 1963 Cadillac Series 62. Thanks for setting us straight.
My dream car is a 1963 series 62 2 door Hydro Matic Cadillac convertible. It’s my dream machine
I have one of these vehicles 1963 62 series convertible in my garage needs a little bit of work for restoration but I’ve had it for 40 years. When you sit in the car are you drive in one of these vehicles it’s like a time machine it puts you into a whole different world not like buying one of these new vehicles. It puts you in the world when things were simple and easy. These Cadillacs don’t take you into the future they take you back into the future.
Hey Folks:
When the title says "Series 62" that's referring to the model of the car, not the year. 62 series is/was the Deville line, 60 Series back then referred to the Fleetwood line. Got it, Get it, Good.
Cadillac=true automobile.
She's a beauty!
the cadillac is the car for italians living in north america.... my nonno (granddad in italian) had one and I'm buying one
The "Series 62" was the bottom of the Cadillac line. This name was changed for the '65 model year, to "Calais".The convertible was moved from the Series 62 line to the DeVille line... later, though I forget precisely which model year.
aside from not being a 62 would have been nice to see more of the "car"
Actually it is a 1964 from the front looked for a pic of the rear if the tailight housing is flat to the rear it is a 63. If it is slanted to the center it is a 64. Also the 63 uses a different parking light assembly. Therefore, I lay odds it's a 1964. Regardless Hagerty of all people should have known that.
This is my fault. I'm the idiot. The driver is my father-in-law and in the spirit of transparency I work for Hagerty. Off the top of my head I thought it was a 1961. It is a 1963. My bad.
Splendid! We have one just like it, but it is full size 4 person pedal boat! Google 'Counterfeit Cadillac' or 'Counterfeit Bluesmobile' . Cheers!
This is a 1963 Series 62 Cadillac convertible !!!
how can you shoot a video of a classic car and not show the rear view at all?
Repost this video with the correct title for this car. It's a '63 Mr. Hagerty!
We know that, however the title says 1962 cadillac
Yep, that's a 63
Nice car! Looks like a '63 to me!! Oops!
Hello Hagerty.....you guys of all people should know that this is neither a 1961 or 1962 Cadillac. Try a 1963.
And after the title it say's Ride along in a 1961 cadillac series 62. Confusing everyone even more.
Thats not a 1962 Cadillac. Come on guys you should know that. Its a 1963... different body style.
THat cadillac is a 1963, not a 1962
car is a 63
