- We were not 100% sure when our Kunkune pig Patches was due and she caught us by surprise with here first litter! She ended up having her piglets in the pigloo but we were able to move her and her piglets to the farrowing area later in the evening.
We decided it was time to move some other pregnant pigs to the farrowing area so we won't have anymore surprises this farrowing season!

You know you have a ton of pigs when you can’t keep track of who’s who in the videos. Haha.
Winston, That’s exactly what I was thinking!! Haha
If I ever get to have land again I want a couple Kune Kune pigs because of you
They are so easy to raise it would be a great choice

Your doing a great job filming the births and love the new farrowing barn. Ii have a sow that should be delivering her 3rd set of piglets any day. We witnessed the breeding and counted the days but she is 4 days pass due.Her first 2 litters where like clockwork. Have you ever experienced this? When should I become concerned?
Thanks for following along! We have not experienced that yet except for when we didn’t witness the breeding. If it were us I would be concerned if she looked like she is struggling
@@KCFarms that's what's funny there is no struggling she is acting like she always does. Energy enough to jump on the wood railing wanting her food. How many days do you count? Some say 114 others 116.
I would say she is gone then. We do 116
Hello i am planing to raise kune kune for meat I showed my husband your barn and he's looking forward to make it the way you do thank you for sharing
Awesome thanks for following along
The nursery
Im sure this has been asked a million times before but where did you get your piggloos?
Tractor supply but they have almost doubled In price since we got ours
Do you feed a mineral supplement, like a free choice? I put my 4 up on our lawn inside a Premier 1 fence.
Well they really rooted up the ground, like they weren’t getting enough minerals? What about salt? The hog finisher pellets I feed has trace minerals.
We don’t do extra minerals. I have noticed our younger pigs tend to turn the soil but usually when we get rain
@@KCFarms Ok, thanks so much! Love your place and watching all your adventures!
I like the name Jerky better!
Yeah it’s fitting
