Going to buy pigs from you...for sure by Spring; thought I was going to be able to make it this Fall but I have too many things to take care of this Fall and I want to do it right and make sure that I have everything together for their home, fencing, wallow etc. Can't wait though!
Hi good seeing all of the piggy's and you as well. You guys have the nicest cleanest pig farm The hogs are very well taken care your farm in general is very nice. I'm looking forward to the new babies arriving soon too.
Thank you for the kind words
I had a sow that would go a little crazy when she went into heat. She would chase me around the yard. 😂
Great info. God bless
9:14 Two cups as in 16 oz?
Nice farm and I love the barn
Yes that’s what we do
@@KCFarms They look great, I may be over feeding 🤣
So is the boar at 5 mos old able to start breeding? Great info . Thank you !
7:00 what a beauty
Can we put a hog panel between them or do they have to be farther away from each other?
Oh man I didn't know that about the friend zone......noooooooooooo😂😂😂😂😂😂
Actually happened to us this year and went out two weeks ago and found unfortunately dead piglets 😢
We bought babies one male ,one female.now 5 mo. Old in the same pin with our chicken's. So we can't keep them together? Have a very tiny yard n no grass.
How much food do they get if in sm. Pin n 5 mo. Old?
I sure would love to get a banded boarling from you all or 1 like Gordon he is a very handsome boar

Our stud is a Meishan. We couldn't find a Mangalista gilt.
So we have a Kunekune Gilt. Both are 4 months old. We also bought one of each, barrows for company.
Do you crossbreed?
Thanks for following along. We don’t crossbreed but I know a lot of people do
When the milk line forms how long typically until they birth?
All pigs are a little different but once you can express milk piglet usually come within 24 hours
Do you feed the pregnant girls more? Or do you give them more food if you plan to breed them?
You don’t want to up feed until they have their litter then you can give them more since they are feeding the babies
@KCFarms oh awesome :) thank you! What is your experience with stillbirth piglets? I had friends who bred 4 gilts and only 2 babies made it out of 10. Is that normal? What could cause that? Also is it OK to breed a sister and brother? Or is that asking for issues.
Have u had any still borns or issues with mom laying on them?
Had a few of both. Not a huge issue but it does happen
man so many pigs
