@@solosolo8610 So wrong! lean was one of the first rappers to use the internet to create a rap career. Keep in mind in the early 2010s all musicians were still tied to many record labels. Look at how it is today, almost all rappers use the internet for their careers. Lil B and Yung lean were pioneers in that sense. Yung Lean literally has huge influence over all these new wave underground rappers. If you ask Sematary, xaviersobased, babytron, etc, I GUARENTEE you each of them would cite lean as a main inspiration.

@@Juggalo94 Wu Tang been that collective before all these posers.
Artists only want songs with Drake because his brand since the beginning has been to identify new up and coming talent and make music with dudes that are popping (him & his management). Since the beginning this is why Drake has stayed relevant so long. If Drake was only solo for years he'd not still be relevant today GUARANTEED. He eats off other's fanbase to maintain and boost his own numbers. This is facts.
In the beginning he saw Rocky, 2 Chainz and Kendrick popping and ate off them back in the day. In 2013 he started a long term relationship with Future & kept making music with him because Future stayed popping. Moved on to the next era with the likes of 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Travis Scott and Migos. Now it's all about Yeat, Sexy Redd, SZA and all that so basically Drake is just making music with whatever is hot. I don't think Yeat's music will age well at all but that's the current popular sound on TikTok. Drake ain't the reason that song trending but it's cuz of Yeat.

list of people who need their flowers:
Yung Lean (created cloud rap and pioneered the internet trillwave aesthetic)
Yung Bruh (the original vamp. Been calling himself a vampire since 2013-2014)
Lil B (started the based movement)
Trassh (basically created the kawaii rap aesthetic)
cold hart (made some of the earliest music that can be considered emo rap as we know it today)
DJ Smokey (the inventor of phonk)
