The Time Paradox achievement was still the best easter egg in the MW1 remaster out of the two games. Similar to getting Shepard, but you get a unique mission failure cutscene. Not only that, but they also added in Makarov to the 'All Ghillied Up' mission as part of the eater egg and to fit the timeline.-- similar to how they added in Yuri here in MW2.
You forgot the melee kill Animation in the mission "Cliffhanger". If you go to the first 2 enemies and use your knife instead of shooting like soap says it shows a special animation.
Not sure if this counts as an easter egg, but in "Of Their Own Accord", you can find a roster of the entire platoon the Rangers are assigned to, and all the names are canonical, as you can see certain members show up in your squad like Wade and McChord in just about every mission. If you play through the missions enough times, you can actually piece together what happens to your platoon throughout the campaign and who dies or survives by way of gameplay or radio chatter.

I’m the mission “Loose Ends” on one of the tables you can find a nod to “Piccadilly” from Modern Warfare 2019 where it says that Makarov caused the attack
i might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that Makarov attacking Piccadilly was a thing in the original MW2 lore somewhere, so if anything the MW 2019 mission is more of a nod to that
Also in wolverines, i found an enemy completely oblivious to the war going on and just digging through a refrigerator, it was the big house with the pillars in it. Idk if you could count it as an easter egg though
I gotta give props to beenox, they didn’t just copy + paste the game and update the graphics. @Captain Eggcellent What few people realized is that in S.S.D.D, when listening in on the conversation between those soldiers about Ghost and Soap, one of them is actually voice acted by 50 Cent, which I think is awesome. In the original MW2, one of his songs was being played on the radio where those two soldiers were playing basketball and they removed it here to add this little detail
Will Arnett and 50 cent. 50 cent was also in the original, on the first mission, he says something like "get your ass in the vehicle" before you get in the humvee
Yeah i'm pretty happy that I actualy decided to cover it. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but after discovering the rock, paper, scissors easter egg I had to haha
6:00 I might be wrong here but I do know that in the original MW2 you can find a box cover of a Call of Duty game hidden on the floor in one of the shops of the air port but you need to be in Free Camera mode and I forget if it's in the Multiplayer version or the single player but I THINK that's the exact same game case that was found.
Another little detail about the gold desert eagle is that it’s the mw3 model rather than the mw2. It doesn’t have the tac light under the barrel and the sights are different.
There’s an alleyway right in the first fighting area In Hornet’s nest. If you go all the way to the right and follow that wall, there’s an opening covered by bushes. Walk through there and there’s some posters and a bear with a star on its chest
So I found an Easter egg in Modern Warfare (2019) that has to deal with the bear and I don't know if you have found this or not but in the map Atlas Superstore there is a toy section. It contains the same exact bear as the other games. It even has the star on it's chest
There’s also bears located throughout Verdansk in Warzone. Leading me to believe they will sooner or later be releasing a zombies type of mode for Warzone
I know in "Loose Ends" if you look on the table where you should place the DSM, there is a newspaper article saying that an attack on Piccadily (Like in MW 2019) was organized by Makarov. Which would make sense given that the remaster came out in 2020. Though I can't recall if the same thing was in the original.
In Cliffhanger, if you run up to the first two enemies who you'd normally engage with soap, and press melee it will start a secrete animation where roach uses his ice picks
Also in the museum, there’s 2 secret weapons from mwr; the 1911 and the w1200. The 1911 is in the display case and the w1200, you have to kill one of the soldiers for the contingency exhibit and they’ll drop it
I actually remember where you find the golden deagle that was the same mission that I remember being the only campaign mission in the OG where could find a normal one
You missed the "thumper" grenade launcher which can only be found in the favelas mission in one of the buildings before you go through the chicken market. That weapon can only be found there or in the museum.
A few extra details in the tutorial level. -The conversations are continuous and can be heard from any group of 2 NPC'S. -there are three events that can be triggered from vantage points around the map. -by climing the first tower where you see the clown, staying long enough you'll see a jet do a low pass right by you -by climbing the latter in the command tent across from the pit (which also holds intel) you'll see a helicopter land briefly to resupply before taking off again. -by standing at the front gate you will see an AC-130 touch down. You can get a better view of this by climbing the watch tower to the left of the pit.
In regards to gameplay? No way. I see the cinematic appeal, but jeah, all of COD is basically a rail shooter with free walking and no innovative gameplay whatsoever
i was so hyped with the animations i literally took the time to see ALL the entire animations😂 literally would clear an area/room and grab every gun to see them lol
2:40 I'd like to point out that you could do this in the original MW2. I think the difference is that you unlock an achievement in the remastered version.
On the first mission, after you get done showing the guys how to shoot, you can go over to the first watchtower closest to you. (It’s the one across from the air field). But, the moment you get to the top next to the guy who’s scouting with binoculars, the two jets on the air field will take off and one of them will do a fly by on the tower you’re on. It won’t take off until after you get to the top. Not sure if it’s a Top Gun Easter egg or not but I thought I’d let you know about it. Also, the tower next to the pit, once you get to the top, there’ll be parked vehicles that’ll start to drive away.
8:31 That was an easter egg in MW3 also. No clipping through one of the buildings on the map Resistance let you find a giant teddy bear with dual gold Desert Eagle’s.
Recently, Gears 5 added a new Gnasher execution : the Batista Bomb which is the finishing move of pro wrestler Batista (Marcus alternate skin). Also linked to Batista, if you play as him during PvP matches, you'll hear his theme song ("I Walk Alone" by Saliva) before the match starts.
Another small easter egg in the museum is when we go to the first display and read Captain Price's lips, he is clearly saying: "What kinda name is Soap? How'd a muppet like you pass inspection?" An homage to Cod 4.
There is another one in SSDD. When you finish with the tutorial and go to the left there is a guy sitting in front of a bunch of weapons on walls. The very back left wall of weapons has old R700 snipers from the original MW and a framed picture with price and gaz and a third signed saying "thanks for playing"
Had to boot up the game to go find this. You’re right. There’s also the m40 sniper, the m14 with iron sights, a barrett, the w1200 and the m1014 shotguns on the weapon racks all from cod 4. Also interesting to note that there is m16s and m4s there too but their models are different to both cod 4 and mw2 games models.
In the mission, “Of Their Own Accord”, there is a book chilling on a sofa with the title, “Prisoner, Checking Those Corners” with the picture of a prison cell from where you save Captain Price, the Author is named Juan Prix, not sure of that has an Easter egg meaning into it but the Title and Picture do :D
When you finish wolverines you get a trophy called "royale with cheese" which is a reference to a scene in pulp fiction where vincent is talking about his trip to the netherlands and how a cheeseburger there is called a royale with chese
In SSDD during the fire fight if you look on the stairs before being told to fall out by Shepard there are two soldiers sitting around playing on their phones in the original game, preventing you from moving up the stairs prematurely
6:49 Secret hunter: At the end of the "first mission of act II" you will find this. People who played the game: You said first mission of act II. Its the third mission of act II.
Anyone notice the shout out to Michael Jackson in team player? I was playing and when you reach the school yard in the mission "Team Player" (3:10 in video) there are 2 Hummers one is called "Dirty" & the other one is called "Diana" "Dirty Diana" was the name of the song I never noticed if this was in the original but it is in the remastered.
I noticed Shepard’s dialogue when ya put it all together in a certain way “Your a good warrior But you could never take that extra step to do what’s absolutely nessacary...hmph I knew you couldn’t do it you know what they say about revenge...be ready too dog two graves go ahead end it.It ain’t change anything” That’s what I put together probably nothing but overthinking it but when I look at it it’s like Shepard is telling soap nothing will change he is the hero the task force 141 are the villains
Soap: "Roach you've got 30 seconds...RUN!!"
Roach: "let me finish my Rock, paper, scissors game ffs"

Yeah i'm pretty happy that I actualy decided to cover it. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but after discovering the rock, paper, scissors easter egg I had to haha
Captain Eggcellent I was hoping for more than just one reaction for rock paper scissor. Still gave me a laugh 😄
@@Tremmuh yeah it's just paper, scissors haha
Why does it say 15 hours on your comment?
bigmacboi because that’s when I posted it
2:39 Whenever he falls he looks like he's doing the 'BRUH' meme
If you slow it down you'll notice that they didnt even program a death animation, he literally just moves down
@@arandomsupra I think they did it on purpose because he also fell like that in the original game
7:35 "You got 30 seconds, RUN!!"
Roach be like "hold on let me finish playing rock paper scissors"
@Ventoplus That's just speculation, with no evidence.
No Budget Comments they literally confirmed that a long time ago
@@victorbadco Nope
The Devs daughter who died was the bear in infinity ward games but the one in treyarch zombies was samanthas teddy..
If I’m not mistaken
I know in "Loose Ends" if you look on the table where you should place the DSM, there is a newspaper article saying that an attack on Piccadily (Like in MW 2019) was organized by Makarov. Which would make sense given that the remaster came out in 2020. Though I can't recall if the same thing was in the original.
3:25 this is probably me when i join the military
“Shoot at the enemy? Nah let me eat my Choccy Bar”
If you join and are deployed you'll understand.... eat when you can . I miss it lol
@@chimichanga6089 eveyhing seems delicius when its not in a box i think
you were promoted to eat a candy bar during a warzone?
8:10 Me if i was in the military :))
10:12 WIAT THATS THE “what the heck kind of name is soap eh? How did a muppet like you get pass selections” THE MOVEMENT AND LIPS SINC LINE UP
Yep, it was always like that
Yeah really
That one voice from the second easter egg talking about Delta and TF141, is that 50 Cent????? I swear it’s him.
It is him hes the only dude with that voice
@@villeworld5580 the other guy is Will Arnett
Troy Baker is in there too
50 cent did the voice for the navy seals faction in multiplayer
ville world
He had to take a mouthful of bullets to get that voice.
In Cliffhanger, if you run up to the first two enemies who you'd normally engage with soap, and press melee it will start a secrete animation where roach uses his ice picks
There’s an easter egg in the mission just like old times when you’re fighting sheperds men if you die the display text says “ friendly fire right?”
Also in the museum, there’s 2 secret weapons from mwr; the 1911 and the w1200. The 1911 is in the display case and the w1200, you have to kill one of the soldiers for the contingency exhibit and they’ll drop it
For those who dont get it the tea party: the clown are the ones you shoot in the very beginning, the alien is from a easter egg from cod ghosts.
The same alien from the Tony Hawks remaster.
Must be something to do with Neversoft.
lot of new, cool stuff; I’ve seen many of these. Shepherd’s monologue in the final mission was in the original.
Damn, seeing the ending of loose ends remastered brought back allot of pain, I thought I had overcome already
A few extra details in the tutorial level.
-The conversations are continuous and can be heard from any group of 2 NPC'S.
-there are three events that can be triggered from vantage points around the map.
-by climing the first tower where you see the clown, staying long enough you'll see a jet do a low pass right by you
-by climbing the latter in the command tent across from the pit (which also holds intel) you'll see a helicopter land briefly to resupply before taking off again.
-by standing at the front gate you will see an AC-130 touch down. You can get a better view of this by climbing the watch tower to the left of the pit.
Wolverines is one of the best missions of all time, fight me.
In regards to gameplay? No way. I see the cinematic appeal, but jeah, all of COD is basically a rail shooter with free walking and no innovative gameplay whatsoever
It got that Red Dawn feel i love it!
I dont know about that but i do know it has the best debriefing scene
Loose Ends too.
RAMIREZ
i was so hyped with the animations i literally took the time to see ALL the entire animations😂 literally would clear an area/room and grab every gun to see them lol
2:10 is one of them spoken by Will Arnett?
Yes
yeah Will Arnett did miscellaneous voices in the original. So did Troy Baker actually
sounds like Will Arnett and 50 Cent
I knew that voice sounded familiar. I feel so dumb not knowing who’s it was
It was for sure more then two voices, idk how the person that made the video didn't realise there was multiple voices lol and one was for sure 50 cent
Ghost: “Bloody Yanks, I thought they were the good guys”
Soap: “Ghost cut the chatter, stay frosty. We need to find prisoner 627”
2:40 I'd like to point out that you could do this in the original MW2. I think the difference is that you unlock an achievement in the remastered version.
happy I'm not the only one
On the first mission, after you get done showing the guys how to shoot, you can go over to the first watchtower closest to you. (It’s the one across from the air field). But, the moment you get to the top next to the guy who’s scouting with binoculars, the two jets on the air field will take off and one of them will do a fly by on the tower you’re on. It won’t take off until after you get to the top. Not sure if it’s a Top Gun Easter egg or not but I thought I’d let you know about it. Also, the tower next to the pit, once you get to the top, there’ll be parked vehicles
that’ll start to drive away.
The old MW is so "Michael Bay" when compared to the MW2019
But still a way better story
When you spawn in the museum, you can aim down your sights and fire a few rounds and kill Shepard without having to move.
8:31 That was an easter egg in MW3 also. No clipping through one of the buildings on the map Resistance let you find a giant teddy bear with dual gold Desert Eagle’s.
Soap: ROACH GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE! THERE'S TOO MANY MILITIA!! ROACH!!!!!!!
Roach: **casually playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with his hands**
Recently, Gears 5 added a new Gnasher execution : the Batista Bomb which is the finishing move of pro wrestler Batista (Marcus alternate skin). Also linked to Batista, if you play as him during PvP matches, you'll hear his theme song ("I Walk Alone" by Saliva) before the match starts.
Do we care
@@thegamingblueberry6345 I'm just giving Captain some Easter Eggs to potentially include in another video, jackass...
@@thegamingblueberry6345 i thought it was pretty cool
Thomas Regnart but this is a total different video
Fire Geek leave rude ass do we care about you being here?
Another small easter egg in the museum is when we go to the first display and read Captain Price's lips, he is clearly saying:
"What kinda name is Soap? How'd a muppet like you pass inspection?"
An homage to Cod 4.
The “Krust” bars in no Russian are a reference to the Crunch chocolate bars in America
Couldn't think of a name The bruh I freaking love crunch bars!
They’re amazing
Couldn't think of a name The Crunch bars aren’t only in Britain lol we have them everywhere in america
Oh yeah I learned that for a image of it
Call of Propaganda: Modern Russophobia
7:00 maybe the mw2 never die diary is a reference off the meme song "my hope will nere die" if is it, is very cool
People in no Russian: Dying
Captions: *[Applause]*
The spawn for the museum puts you in the perfect position to shoot Shepherd
1:53 don’t tell me that the one dude that’s sitting on the chair sounds like 50 cent
In Cliffhanger if you run forward ahead you'll do a special double assassination with the ice picks on the first set of enemies.
On “No Russian” go upstairs, quickly turn around and you can see Yuri walking then falling. Cooler than just finding him on the ground already.
Is it just me or does Shepard look like Robert Patrick?
u meant hitler
@@syn4248 yeah
FluXcY nah he looks like hitler or stalin
in the exhibit for the Juggernaut punching the Ranger, there's a radio that plays Sgt Foley quotes, referencing the "RAMIREZ do Everything" meme
shows ghost and roach dying again
me : *PTSD*
In the mission, “Of Their Own Accord”, there is a book chilling on a sofa with the title, “Prisoner, Checking Those Corners” with the picture of a prison cell from where you save Captain Price, the Author is named Juan Prix, not sure of that has an Easter egg meaning into it but the Title and Picture do :D
8:47 why does the gun sound slow mo remind me of gun sound in Advanced Warfare
Izzat TheArtOfClassicIndonesia me too😂
Izzat TheArtOfClassicIndonesia ikr

at 3:30 i remember in the old mw2 there was a group of soldiers that were on phones on the stairs... just to point out
When you finish wolverines you get a trophy called "royale with cheese" which is a reference to a scene in pulp fiction where vincent is talking about his trip to the netherlands and how a cheeseburger there is called a royale with chese
In SSDD during the fire fight if you look on the stairs before being told to fall out by Shepard there are two soldiers sitting around playing on their phones in the original game, preventing you from moving up the stairs prematurely
The mission name - Wolverines is an obvious reference to Red Dawn
Brendan Folk
Only older folks would catch that.
Brendan Folk there’s a similar one in a gta online called a ridge too far, a reference to, a bridge too far
6:49
Secret hunter: At the end of the "first mission of act II" you will find this.
People who played the game: You said first mission of act II. Its the third mission of act II.
When the trailer of this remastered came, the first thought that crossed my mind was... I'm gonna see if Yuri is there or not.
Glad I was right.🤣
Anyone notice the shout out to Michael Jackson in team player? I was playing and when you reach the school yard in the mission "Team Player" (3:10 in video) there are 2 Hummers one is called "Dirty" & the other one is called "Diana"
"Dirty Diana" was the name of the song I never noticed if this was in the original but it is in the remastered.
Shepard: Do you have the DSM
Me: Closes the video and tries not to cry
Good, that’s one less loose end.
i was the 69th like😎😎
@@wanilimbe i thought you were dead...
I noticed Shepard’s dialogue when ya put it all together in a certain way
“Your a good warrior But you could never take that extra step to do what’s absolutely nessacary...hmph I knew you couldn’t do it you know what they say about revenge...be ready too dog two graves go ahead end it.It ain’t change anything”
That’s what I put together probably nothing but overthinking it but when I look at it it’s like Shepard is telling soap nothing will change he is the hero the task force 141 are the villains
To me it sounds like a voiceline from cod ghosts
Rorke or however you spell it
I’m so happy this game is remastered, memories of 2009 coming back. Imma buy this game
1:36 that’s Curtis Jackson (50 cent) as the black guy
