I designed it to control the foam so theres no bunching of the hat. As long as you control the foam, and control registration, it all stitches out smooth.
Can we make multiple colour's too

Romero, What is the hat hoop called and is it easier than the one that comes with the machine, (Ricoma MT2001)
Good stuff. I think I want to try that foam. I don't mind using the foam from Joannas.
You might want to check that the from from Joanne’s is for embroidery. I was told by a professional longtime embbroiderer that embroidery foam has a different density than craft foam. It really messed up my machine.
@Carole Durch I've used it a lot. What does it do to the machine?
@@ttowntshirts what i used, craft foam, was too thick and threw my tensions off and I broke many needles. No one ever told me they're was a difference in the foam.
What tension for top thread do you recommend? I am using the candle thread but thread keeps breaking. Bobbin tension is 26 on the digital towa
I only measure the bobbin tension, the top, I adjust it according to the initial tension test. Maybe bring down the tension a tad bit on the bobbin.
I always have a problem with stitch staying on center seam especially towards brim. Any suggestions on that?
There is a handful of variables. The main thing make sure its hooped nice and tight, and avoid any unnecessary flagging. Sometimes adding an extra tear away should hold it tighter and more secure.

As much as I love this, the caduceus does not accurately reflect medicine or healthcare. Rather it should be the staff of Asclepius which only has one snake.
Yes, always debatable. In the Military the Caduceus is used. Also many other official departments use it too. I have the staff of Asclepius also. Both are used depending on the organization.
