I took my father to see them for their 50th anniversary tour. They are his favorite band and he hadn't seen them live in 37 years. After the show he looked me dead in the eye and said "They still got it....their music will last another 50 years"
I didn’t think that tour would get to my town. Roger Daltry suffered severe health problems that pushed it back for months but they finally came, just one year after the original planned date. What a great show it was.
Had a similar experience with my dad and the Eagles during the Hell freezes over tour. First time I smoked weed with him. His love of music still lives with me and his grandkids.
The Pete Townsend windmill is one of the most iconic moves in rock history. I've never seen Roger Daltry hit himself with the microphone. Keith moon wore the headphones to hear the backing keyboard tracks to keep in time. The tape was to keep them from falling off.
Pete has an amazing voice, and he wrote 95% of the bands songs, and after getting them to a certain level, he would present them to the group and let each member play it how they saw fit. So if you ever get to listen to any demos from Pete, most of the songs are totally different than what you get on the final versions. It's really wild to hear how they were written Vs. what each member brought to the table in the end, most songs take on an entirely different meaning when presented this way. But that was a part of the genius of The Who, and why they are one of rocks best bands of all time.
You want an on stage crazy story from the Who were somebody got hurt? The video is on UA-cam---> Keith Moon was already in the habit of placing an explosive charge in one his two bass drums to detonate during Pete Townshend’s guitar-smashing at the end of each Who performance. But for their Smothers Brothers appearance, Moon packed several times the normal amount of explosives into his drum kit, and when he set it off, a gigantic explosion rocked the set as a cloud of white smoke engulfed Townshend and singer Roger Daltrey. Though bassist John Entwistle never lost his cool, Daltrey practically flew downstage and when Townshend emerged from the smoke, his hair was almost literally blown to one side of his head. Though the incredible explosion has been rumored to have caused Pete Townshend’s eventual near-deafness, credit for that should probably go instead to the Who’s pioneering use of stacked Marshall amplifiers as a means of achieving maximum volume during their live performances.
Definitely that is a legendary performance. They're miming to a pre-recorded track (with live vocals) so that's a drawback to that performance, but it is a legendary TV appearance for sure.
Their nicknames and an album title were "Meaty,(Daltrey, vocals, because of his muscular form)Beaty,(Moon, drums, because his insane rhythm style)Big,(Entwistle, bass, because he was a big fella)Bouncy(Townshend, lead, because he bounces around and likes to dance ) Love them guys and the album Meaty, beaty, big and bouncy is a compilation of some truly amazing songs.
I am so glad that your younger generation is really getting into my era of music. Makes me feel younger again. ( I am 71 years young ). The stories of late 60 's and 70 's I could tell you all 🤯😵💫
it wasn't really taped to his head, he formed a "cage" using a tape band in the front and in the back that held the phones in place better. you can see because there's different scenes where they're not laying the same way.
One of the best Live Rock Bands ever. Entwistle on Bass thunder fingers, I believe(?) w/ Mad Man Moon on Drums, Crazy Pete on Guitar & of course, Daltrey on vocals....so great even today.
Keith had to wear headphones for two songs, this one and Won't Get Fooled Again, because both those songs are played along to a tape recording of the synthesizer part. Keith couldn't go off time to that or it would ruin the song so he had to listen quite closely to it. The duct tape kept them on with his manic style and head flailing around. At the end of Won't Get Fooled Again he'd tear them off because he hated wearing them.
Daltrey has stated in the past that the microphone swinging started because he was basically bored and needed something to do on stage. It rather happened by accident and evolved from there. There have been a few mishaps along the way, including the mic hitting the floor with a discernible "Thud"...but that's Rock & Roll for ya!
Love your reactions and I have a fantastic recommendation for you for the Who. The four songs from the Concert for New York following 9/11. From the emotional introduction to the barnstorming performance from the Who (with Ringos son Zak on drums) it really is one of their most perfect performances for such an iconic concert. Just perfection. Love Peter.
Lovely to see your reaction and smile. "Baba O'Riley" was to be part of a Rock Opera that was never finished. It was used as the theme song for the TV show CSI New York. One of my top favorites was another song from that unfinished Rock Opera ... " Behind Blue Eyes" ... "Tommy"... is the name of the Rock Opera that they finished and was turned into a movie with some of the biggest stars of the day. Songs that hit the top of the charts were .... "Pinball Wizard"... "See Me Feel Me". ... [ "Go To The Mirror"...includes See Me Feel Me. ] Elton John did Pinball Wizard for the movie.
Townshend didn't invent the windmill motion on the guitar (he saw Keith Richards messing around with it) but that's like saying Eddie van Halen didn't invent finger-tapping. Still became the most iconic user of the technique. Daltry has never smoked himself with the mic as far as I know but Townshend did screw up his hand on the whammy bar once with the aforementioned windmill (still completed the show) You've reacted to Rush so it's worth pointing out that while many drummers today having Neil Peart as their favourite drummer, Keith Moon was the favourite of Peart
Aileen - you might have this from earlier comments (TLDR). The Who:Roger Daltry (vocals), Pete Townsend (guitar / keyboard), John Entwistle (Bass), Keith Moon (drums) and later Kenny Jones on drums were part of the English invasion of the mid 60's (Beatles=good boys, Rolling Stones=bad boys, Kinks=poetic lyricists, Zombies=sex perverts, The Who= underground rebels). Entwistle - who had a piece of Nazi shrapnel in his head lodged during his birth (in a Blitzkrieg / London) - revolutionized the instrument (you can see RHCP's Flea wearing a skeleton outfit popularized by Entwistle). Moon provided the name of Led Zeppelin, and Townsend created the "Rock Opera" with Tommy (Ann Margaret, Jack Nicholson, Eric Clapton, etc...). They had been known to set off explosives on stage, to attack people on stage, set shit on fire, etc... . Zeppelin manager Peter Grant (former pro wrestler) lamented that he was thankful that "at least I'm not managing The Who". I would recommend "Who are you", "See me Feel me", and the biography "Full Moon". If you have time - the biopic "Thunderfingers". Time well spent. Love your reactions!
I heartily recommend "Love Reign O'er Me" as your next song by "The Who." Roger's Daltrey's vocals on that song are as good as it gets in rock music. You can find some good live performances, but it's best to do the studio version.
Bright Angel Aileen, seeing you smile and enjoy the music is like a warm Spring Morning. Thanks for bringing some light into these dark days. Your hard work brings joy to more people than you could ever know.
Hi gorgeous! Always great to see your reactions. Lead singer- Roger Daltry, Guitar- Pete Townshend, Bass- John Entwhistle and Drums- Keith Moon. Stay beautiful and I'll catch you on the next one. Can't go wrong with The Who. 🔥🔥🔥🔥💋💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️❤️😛😛😛😛🦊🦊🦊🦊🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
There is a reason The Who are considered 'Rock Royalty' along with Led Zep, The Stones, and The Beatles. These guys were instrumental (no pun intended) in creating rock music we know today.
Thanks for the reaction, great job. I seen them live at the Anaheim stadium California in 1976. It was a all day festival and the Who came on last at twilight. Loudest show I ever been to! The bass was felt in my bones as the seats vibrated, best band I've ever experienced.
I had the Pleasure of working a tour with them,,, Like I said ... "When You Love What You DO" it shows... Pete Townsen{guitar} Roger Daltre {singer} Keith Moon} drums} John Entwhistle{Bass} show it in every show...
I'm delighted that you have discovered the majesty of The Who, Aileen. ❤ There are an endless string of great from these guys. You might enjoy an earlier performance of theirs, "I Can See For Miles," which they performed on several television shows.
Love your reaction to the greatest rock band of them all. If you haven't already, check out "Who Are You", "See Me, Feel Me" (from Woodstock), "Young Man Blues", "A Quick One While He's Away", "Magic Bus" (from LIVE AT LEEDS) , "My Generation", "5:15", "Love Reign O'er Me"... and a whole lot more.
You Got It! You get it all Aileen... The Who = GOAT for me ever since seeing them in 1968 at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit right there on the main floor 25 feet away from that little state filled up with them . I also got to see what we just watched here with you at Pontiac Silver dome, main floor again, live. Amazing show and lights as you saw there. So happy to see you fully dig and fully appreciate & Feel What or who The Who are
If there’s one band that makes me wish I was born 15 years earlier, The Who is it. But even amongst my generation, that of X, these songs spoke to us, notably this one. How that band managed to coalesce all those personalities, talent and egos into a band that didn’t end up killing each other is still frickin’ amazing. Wood, Entwistle, Daltrey and Townsend, I mean, come on, that’s just insane. This will always be one of my favorite songs to play live, my inner 16 year old rock-star-wannabe can’t be held in. Is there a reason for the Townsend windmill? Hell no, but it’s just damn cool and lets the guitar know you’re here and mean business.
The Who - Love, Reign O'er Me, from the album Quadrophenia! The entire Quadrophenia album is great to listen to start to finish, but then you'll have heard all the songs and cant Fresh react to. lol.
Their record Tommy was one of the first 5 albums I bought, about 40 years ago. I didn't know what it was about. I just love the music. Pinball Wizard was a song I've loved since I was in the back seat of my mom's brown Chevelle, and it was on the radio.
The guitarist is the legendary Pete Townsend, the vocalist is Roger Daltry, the bass player is the late John Entwistle, and the drummer is the supernatural (late) Keith "the Loon" Moon. I'm going to beg of you to listen to the studio version of the first track of their epic rock opera, "Tommy". The "Overture" is an instrumental preview of all the musical themes they play throughout this opera, and EPIC, BRILLIANT, and MIND BLOWING barely describe that experience. No lyrics to interpret, just next level musicianship! This was great fun, thank you as always. 😂👏🌹😇
I love The Who, their energy is contagious. Love that you are reacting to a group that actually plays instruments and creates amazing sound and energy. Have seen The Who twice and enjoyed it immensely. I love in this concert when Pete Townsend breaks out into the Wiz character from Seinfeld just strutting his energy! Lol doesn’t get any better!!!😆🤪👍
My music teacher in highschool chose songs from 'Tommy' for us to listen to. Calling it Art. It was 1982 and I was 12. I thought wth.But he was right! Thanks for sharing this one!
My favorite Who song. Pearl Jam also performs this and they do an amazing job. In fact Pearl Jam ends shows with two songs. Yellow Leadbetter and Baba O'Riley
Hi Aileen. Another great video and wonderful to share this classic music with you. I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan but I also enjoy many other bands of the 60’s/70’s. One Who track/video I always enjoy watching is the official promo video of ‘Who are you? It has 16m views - so quite popular!
Bassist John Entwistle is considered the best bassist in contemporary music, and was the calm eye of that storm. Keith Moon drums, the head phones are so he can hear the sound mix better, as for the duct tape he probably broke them so they’ll stay on ,he was a crazy person who played lead drums basically , Pete Townshed is a very talented guitarist & composer, and Roger Daltrey’s singing speaks for itself
my heart brightens whenever I see a new reaction from you. I love how engrossed you get in the music and the joy that shines from you in experiencing it.
This was also used as the theme for the TV show CSI New York. and the front man Roger Daltry had a recurring on the TV show Highlander as Hugh Fitzcairn.
I remember listening to The Who with my uncle when I was about 12 or 13. He jumped down his basement steps while doing the Pete Townsend windmill move and broke his ankle. We laughed about that for years. RIP Uncle Mike.
Great band, one of the greatest! You should check out their songs "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Bargain"! Also, they do an incredible, epic Rock Ballad called "Love Reign O'er Me", which is truly beautiful!
Check out their live performance of "A Quick One While He's Away" on the Rolling Stones Rock n Roll Circus. It's a mini opera of four songs together to tell a story. Super fun!
This band has crazy energy from Roger Daltrey's mic swinging to Pete Townsend's windmill guitar playing classic song by The Who Won't Get Fooled Again is my all time favorite song it's the perfect rock song and Roger has a insane scream in that one
Yes Keith Moon has his headphones taped on so he won't lose them when he is going nuts on the drums. Pete Townsend does do several songs as lead vocalist, in fact he went on and had a successful solo career. Rodger Daltry has always swung his mic but never heard of any mishaps. I used to photograph this band live and he never lost control of that mic. If you notice it is taped up really good with the mic chord doubled up or wrapped on the mic body undr the tape so it won't damage the mic itself or anyone else if it flies off. John Entwhisle is essentially a "lead" bass guitarist. He not only sets the rhythm and bottom tones but also uses melody to drive the songs with his brilliant skills.
This is why The Who is one of my all time Favorite bands. The Talent Level of these 4 guys rivals, Zeppelin, Tool and a few others. Roger Daltry: Vocals, Pete Townsend: Guitar, John Entwhistle: Bass, and the Legend Keith Moon: Drums.
At one point, The Who had the the Guiness Book of World Records record for the loudest concert ever. They were known to be LOUD and yes, full of energy.
Wrong!! Its was The Who in the Guinness Book of records I believe in 1975 or 76. Deep purple who I like will never, ever be or beat The Who on albums, in concert, in hype and or anything!! Deep purple was,, and I quote Jimmy Page,,, only popular in Japan.. Don't Fuck with The Who!!!@brithaddenhadden8383
Great reaction!! As others have suggested, if you want to see them when they were a little younger, check out the live performance of A Quick One, While He's Away from The Rolling Stones rock ‘n’ roll Circus. They completely upstaged the Stones and the footage wasn’t released by the Rolling Stones until much later.
No microphone incidents that I'm aware of - other than the Abbie Hoffman incident at Woodstock in 1969, but Pete (the guitarist) did impale his hand on his whammie bar (he was playing a strat, if I recall correctly) while doing a reverse windmill during the 1993 tour (I think it was '93, but I can't remember). The bar when right through the palm of his hand, and luckily enough caused no long-term nerve damage. They finished the tour, to my knowledge, as well.
Please listen and react to the Who when they perform live at the Isle of Wight in front an audience of 600.000 in 1970. Their rendition of Mose Allison's "Young Man Blues" in the middle of the night is pure Rock'n' Roll history!
They were huge in their time. In 1979, 11 people died at The Who concert in Cincinnati Ohio. It was so crowded, and people got trampled by the crowds of people trying to get into the building. It was tragic. My step dad was there, but he would never talk about it. I guess it freaked him out. They were definitely one of the greats in their day, and still are today. One of my fave classic rock bands.
Roger Daltrey microphone story; saw The Who in 1982, Lexington KY. When Roger is playing the harmonica in the video you just played, you can see how the cord and mic are taped together so it doesn't fly apart and kill an audience or band member. At this particular show he hit something (don't think it caused any bodily harm to anyone), stage, drum riser, speaker...I don't remember. It did, however, break the mic. They didn't have another taped up mic for him and he was PISSED! It was such a part of his stage presence that he had a hard time the rest of the show. I don't think the music suffered or benefitted either way, but it did ramp up his energy level the rest of the show. The videos are awesome, but their live shows were phenomenal!
Saw The Who in 1976 with Keith Moon. Unbelievable. Roger Daltry had the mic swinging way out over the crowd. And interview recently he stated he never hit himself or anyone else and never dropped it. You HAVE to listen to "Love Reign O'er Me". From their Quadrophenia album.
Peter for England again ! I was lucky enough to see the Who live several times (officially the loudest band in the World). Their shows are always superb but again I request you to react to their emotional set during the Concert for New York following 9/11. From the emotional introduction to the great but respectful performance and the audience reaction it is just unmissable. Zak Starkey, Ringos son, is on drums (Keith Moon aka Moon the Loon died at a very young age). Please take a look at it. xx
"He's gonna rip his arm out of its socket!" Not quite, but he did slash his hand up more than once while doing the windmill. One of Rolling Stone's most iconic rock portraits is of Pete's bloody hand cradling his face, shot by Annie Liebovitz.
You need to check out their performance of 'Young Man's Blues' from the Isle of Wight Festival 1970. Amazing. And yes, Roger Daltrey once knocked himself out pretty good when the mic bounced off something and back into his head!
Not much makes me happier than seeing Aileen enjoy great music like this! Except maybe seeing how much genuine love and passion Pete Townshend has for music and performing. That smile on his face speaks volumes on how much joy he gets from performing. Awesome video as always! EDIT: I also always love how John Entwistle just stands solid like a stone, unmovable, but yet his fingers move a mile a minute on that bass lol
One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies (Almost Famous) is, "Some people have a hard time explaining rock 'n' roll. I don't think anyone can really explain rock 'n' roll. Except maybe Pete Townshend, but that's okay."
A story about Pete getting hurt-the whammy bar (look it up) on his guitar impaled his hand. He was doing the windmill movement, and it went straight through his hand, blood everywhere. No permanent damage.
Everyone commenting on Pete, Roger, Keith... not one mentioned the insane bass playing skills of John! In that sea of energy, he's standing still as a rock,. only his fingers twiddling the bass guitar with the utmost skill!!!
Check out their performance of YOUNG MAN BLUES from the ISLE OF WIGHT Festival in 1970 and also listen to AMAZING JOURNEY/SPARKS from the LIVE AT LEEDS album( no video) when they were at their peak.
Pete Townshend is the guitarist and was the band's main songwriter, almost, but not quite exclusively. Keith Moon is the madman on the drums, sadly this show at Shepperton Studios was his last with the band before he tragically passed at the age of 32. Roger Daltrey is the singer and mic cord cowboy, never heard tell of him crowning himself with the mic,but wouldn't be shocked. The brilliant man on the bass (and in my humble opinion the best musician in the band) was John "The Ox" Entwistle. Considered by many the greatest bassist in rock history. (I tend to go with Yes' Chris Squire, but then was Yes REALLY a rock band? Prog rock is kind of it's own thing.) Entwistle left us in 2002. LOVE your reactions, you really have an ability to hone in quickly on what makes the great bands great. And every time you arch your right eyebrow whilst smiling that devilish smile is just a bit of YT heaven, haha.
I saw Van Halen in 1975 (even before they began playing the clubs in Hollywood and two years before they had a recording contract) and DLR would swing his mic around by the cord like Roger Daltrey and all I could think was 'come on, man, Daltrey has a patent on that. Get your own move, dude." lolol
Saw them at RFK Stadium in DC in the mid 80s.... would call it the best concert ever had I not seen Pink Floyd....you do a great job not only beyond beautiful but articulate and intelligent ❤
Heck yea. Joan Jett opened as well. Seen her multiple times. Great show from start to end.
Had a similar experience with my dad and the Eagles during the Hell freezes over tour. First time I smoked weed with him. His love of music still lives with me and his grandkids.
Saw that tour in Toronto. Daltrey turned 72 that day.....he still had it all going, awesome band !!!
I highly recommend only listening to studio versions unless live is requested. Seldomly does the live version do the song justice
The Pete Townsend windmill is one of the most iconic moves in rock history. I've never seen Roger Daltry hit himself with the microphone. Keith moon wore the headphones to hear the backing keyboard tracks to keep in time. The tape was to keep them from falling off.
John Entwistle - was also there.
@@estoy1001 Casually being one of the greatest bassists of all time ;)
That... And the power slide.
Townsend put a whammy bar through his hand doing the "windmill" while playing a Fender Strat. You guitar players will know what I am talking about.
Townshend with an 'h'. You're not the first. :)
As a live act, these guys were simply a force of nature. Power and chaos combined as sheer brilliance.
For many years the were in the Guiness Book as the worlds loudest band!
Pete has an amazing voice, and he wrote 95% of the bands songs, and after getting them to a certain level, he would present them to the group and let each member play it how they saw fit. You forgot that Moon himself got injured when pieces of cymbal flew into his leg like shrapnel!
Pete played Hiwatt amps and cabinets...🤓

I had no idea. Thanks! MBBB is a classic 🤩

When you look at the who and other super Groups of that period of time. It's easy to say it was the best area of music.
Keith Moon used to tape his headphones to his head so he wouldn't shake them off.
Considering how high energetically he'd play the drums, this doesn't really surprise me
it wasn't really taped to his head, he formed a "cage" using a tape band in the front and in the back that held the phones in place better. you can see because there's different scenes where they're not laying the same way.

Yes. One of my favorites

Love, reign o'er me. Amazing song by The Who. Also, Behind Blue Eyes.
I love how Roger, Pete and Keith are maniacs and John just stands stoically in the eye of that storm holding down the bottom end.
There is a reason The Who are considered 'Rock Royalty' along with Led Zep, The Stones, and The Beatles. These guys were instrumental (no pun intended) in creating rock music we know today.
I think we almost caught Entwistle smiling there towards the end.

The Who!!! I was lucky enough to see them live. They put on an awesome show. They definitely get the crowd into all that they do.
Entwhistle is also dead
PJ also does a great cover of Love, Reign O'er Me.
Hi Aileen. Another great video and wonderful to share this classic music with you. I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan but I also enjoy many other bands of the 60’s/70’s. One Who track/video I always enjoy watching is the official promo video of ‘Who are you? It has 16m views - so quite popular!
This and behind blue eyes, are some of my favorite WHO...Pete was a nexus of inspired musical talent... unmatched.
Bass and drums only in the beginning is amazing.
Love Keith Moon’s manic playing on this song as John Entwhistle just lays down that bass groove
Quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-cam channels! Great music, unique and insightful reactions, and the most amazingly beautiful view. Thanks!
Incomparable. It doesn't matter how many times you see and here them, my jaw still hits the floor. Iive, no other rock band is in their league.
Great reaction Aileen, The Who are such a great band and as you can see are excellent live! Take care
Happy Tuesday hope your having the bestest time in Texas And this song is a amazing and every time I here it reminds me of a Adam Sandler movie
At one point, The Who had the the Guiness Book of World Records record for the loudest concert ever. They were known to be LOUD and yes, full of energy.
that was deep purple not the who !
No for many years it was The Who. Live at Leeds.
In my teens and early twenties the lead singer, Roger Daltry was my crush! Loved, loved him!
You can never go wrong with any song from The Who! I highly recommend there songs Tattoo, Trick of the Light, and Love Rain o'r me.
I remember the who did a tv concert of Tommy and Pete had a hand injury. Could only play the acoustic guitar.
I saw them in Cincinnati when the crowd crush occurred. Sad night…great concert!
I saw The Who in 1973 in Montreal. Amazing
Please listen and react to the Who when they perform live at the Isle of Wight in front an audience of 600.000 in 1970. Their rendition of Mose Allison's "Young Man Blues" in the middle of the night is pure Rock'n' Roll history!
Love this girl's LOVE FOR CLASSIC ROCK AND ROLL BABY 👍👍👍👍👌👌✌️✌️✌️✌️
Keith Moon is ine of my favorite drummers of all time. What I really like about this song is that it has such a punk vibe to it... Such a great song!
One of the greatest "bottoms" in Rock History with Moon on Drums and Entwistle on Bass, may they Rest In Peace.
another great performance on video, by The Who is A Quick One While He's Away, live from the rolling stone rock and roll circus, 1968
Got to see them at Madison Square Garden. They were late and had paper cups of champagne passed out to the entire audience. GREAT show!
The greatest live rock band of all 🎸
Experts in high energy rock, four shows in one. And,as always a pleasure to see you're great reaction
We all had that kind of energy in the sixties-seventies. Dance with others, dance alone - get out there and go crazy to the music!
Please take a look at it. xx
Aileen - your generation soooooo missed out out such bands like The Who - sooo much more music godddd- TY Aileen you're awesome - Fr Canada
"He's gonna rip his arm out of its socket!" Not quite, but he did slash his hand up more than once while doing the windmill. One of Rolling Stone's most iconic rock portraits is of Pete's bloody hand cradling his face, shot by Annie Liebovitz.
Young Man Blues - Live at the Isle of Wight 1970. The Who at their absolute friggin best. Pure pandelerium.
Seeing you joy and enthusiasm listening to The Who was a joy for me. The Who are great love them .
You need to check out their performance of 'Young Man's Blues' from the Isle of Wight Festival 1970. Amazing. And yes, Roger Daltrey once knocked himself out pretty good when the mic bounced off something and back into his head!
Such an amazing intro - Pete Townsend was an unhinged genius. There was a lot of damaged inventory on their tours.
One of the best live bands of all time!
Behind blue-eyed by the WHO
Not much makes me happier than seeing Aileen enjoy great music like this!
"Baba O'Riley's intro is so hype i love it
There are so many wonderful Who songs that you can check out:
My Generation
Substitute
I Can See For Miles
Magic Bus
Who are You
A story about Pete getting hurt-the whammy bar (look it up) on his guitar impaled his hand. He was doing the windmill movement, and it went straight through his hand, blood everywhere. No permanent damage.
The duct tape was just an attempt to keep Keiths head screwed on. At least they tried.
The story about The Who,,,,,is the smashing of their equipment at the end of the show. They started it,,,,,💥💥💥👍😎
Everyone commenting on Pete, Roger, Keith... not one mentioned the insane bass playing skills of John!
Hi Aileen, thanks for the reaction to Baba O’Riley. I’ve always enjoyed this song.
This video is a remaster from an original tape from London in the 1978. Crazy to see and hear them in this quality from so long ago.
I’m so glad you’re discovering these songs.
