6:42 This is why I just rolled my eyes when I heard Milestone also got the WSBK license. Was really rooting for Raceward to get WSBK after their 1st outing with Rims Racing.
Great reviews and opinions, I always look for this kind of passion, I bought tt isle of men based on your review and I'm enjoying it. Just one little note, the complain about the damage model is due the license issue with the bike manufacturers, that don't want to see any kind of damage with their bikes , is the same kind of issues with F1 games and even games like ACC, the developers have hard time dealing with that kind of stuff. I'm not defending them just saying what's going on. Still, keep the good and solid videos. Cheers
man that sucks, but i'm not surprised. You'd think with racing they would mind the simulation of what you see in real life - watching the bike go to pieces - but that makes a lot of sense that they want bikes to look nice and shiny.
@@DylonND Yeah, it really sucks, not only this but stuff like livery customization in racing games has also to be negotiated. License products bring a lot of money for game developers, but also a lot of limitation and headtaches.
0:48 NOPE!..LOL. I agree the old racing game physic feel is still a treasured love. I bet if you went back to Ride 2 you just might think twice right? By the way 7:59 made me spit out my coffee laughing!.
Great Review , its exactly how you said they are copy and paste from motogp 19 , a point braking game was motogp 16 or official name valentino rossi the game and a very good game for me was motogp 08 on my ps3 , glad to see more reviews from you
thank you! Yeah I wanted to go off the deep end and really hold it up to its counterparts. We need some more companies involved making motorcycle games again!
All this Superbike 2001 love, I might just have to reinstall it. Also MotoGP games need to be a biennial release, with subsequent seasonal updates offered as DLC rather than another full game. Be an easier pill to swallow. But it wont happen because money.
I understand FALKA, but no worries! The next vid is on it's way!! I've already got 90% of the footage recorded and the script almost complete as of today.
My problem with moto gp 22 played with a controller is that almost everything works except the steering lever, it is too nervous, reactive and frsutrating. I'm about to unninstall it :- (
@@DylonND i find ride 2 to be okay but ride 4 is too tough for me. Motogp 19 seems fine to me. Was looking to get into either 21 or 22 but not sure which one
I only played GP20 because it was on the Xbox Game Pass. It's like what you're saying for 21 and 22. The AI is the biggest issue imho, they are essentially cheating, especially in the historic mode and are pretty fucking stupid.
@@DylonND Ι usually don't use the rewind mechanic when it's in a game, unless I have to for an achievement etc., but completing the historic mode in 20 would had taken months on its own. Huge divebombs on the inside essentially constantly. I like how they made the AI try some moves, but God damn.
This review not only saved me money, but it may have just saved my marriage. Thank you.
Some marriages do hinge on MotoGP 22 reviews, glad I could be of service.

Me too! lol They can't keep getting away with it!
@@DylonND Never understand why Milestone is the only big dev in the Motorcycle sim market.
@@sonang7721 I've wondered if maybe other devs just see it as a niche market and that they won't make any money from it, which isn't true.

means a lot mike, thank you!

I think I just might go back! I love me some Ride 2. And lol yeah lot's of hidden gems in this one. I think you can tell how I feel by the memes.

thank you!!
Wow the only good motorcycle game reviewer is back, (recommend me more good moto game reviewer channels pls)
Thank you!! I like Robo, Dr. Ace, and team VVV

agreed! It's sadly all about money
2 weeks and still waiting for that "video every few weeks" comment to come to reality:3

ah SBK 2001 so many memories
yeah, same for me haha
GP Bikes review next?
I was thinking of doing track day r and gp bikes at the same time! Isle of Man TT is next.

Yeah, I think I had to do some dialing in with the advanced control settings - try messing with the sensitivity and the dead zone!
Hey, what would you recommend for a novice between MotoGP 21 and 22?
I would actually recommend Ride 2 or 4! Before you jump into the MotoGP games!

@@DylonND thanks!
Really bad to see the state of gaming these days. Coding and features in old games outshining modern games.
exactly!
Bring back Namco's MotoGP games from PS2, that be my hot take
Oh oooh ohhh! Which one was the best in your opinion?
@@DylonND i always find myself playing the first one the most. Something about the style and its arcade simplicity speaks to me
lol. Friends don't let friends buy CF motos XD

Yep! AI are still pretty bad, I got rammed so much in MotoGP 22 it was worst then ride lol

DOES THE GOAT REPLY. ALSO FIRST COMMENT
YEET!
You didn't have to suffer MotoGP '08?
I actually did play 07 I think a little bit, but it was the PC port... i'm sure it sucked on the ps2 lol
