    I'm not a massive MotoGP guy , but I enjoy all racing games and I am loving this. Certainly different when it comes to handling compared with car racing games, and I am really enjoying the change of racing styles, especially when it comes to cornering. Great review , also enjoying your other tips videos too.

    That was a great review. As always with annual releases, we'll only see how far we've come if we go back 5-6 years. That being said, I love the Nine Season 2009 idea. It will give this game replay value even in the years to come.

    one thing that i wasn't noticed while playing motogp22 is that rider helmet in the starting grid , all i know is they used to shut the visor , but when you tell me this .. i was like "really ?" , and then i went back to my game and check if this is true , and then it is...
    i never had an attention to the game like you just did..
    that is why motogp22 is awesome.

    I've stepped away from the franchise since 2018 and my god the braking is difficult to get my head around. In the older games I could slam on the brakes without assists but now, I've had to change my riding style and be more precise and smoother upon entering corners.
    I suppose having this challenge will keep me on the game for longer so I'm treating it as a glass half full situation

      MotoGP 21 was the biggest adjustment to the handling and a lot of players stopped playing because it was too hard. MotoGP 22 has been made easier so I would say now is a better balance to come back and learn rather than last year. However I will say I preferred last years game. I like your attitude mate. Keep pushing and you’ll have a great time with it

      @@DrAce46 More than welcome Glad i found your review,i love my bike game's have all of them been jamming bike games since early 90's.Question.Do you think the lastest Motogp game's need abit more time under development.Meaning instead of beeing rushed out every year,have new feature's added and more polish under it's belt?I freaken love ride 4 and i think its the gran turismo of Motobike game's.

      I’d say yes and no mate, I’d say yes since there’s a lot of things that could be tweaked and the fact that the content is always out of date for a few months is disheartening however it seems 70% of games that come out nowadays are unfinished and require patches. It’s the new norm sadly.
      But I’ll also say no because the racing is still very good and I’m still happy with my purchase even if it hasn’t changed all that much

    i do really hope they gonna expand on challenge mode like MotoGP 08 and 04
    like doing a cone course or braking stop challenge
    plus the reward is legit for me a good one because you can get official pics on almost every event and video for previous season

    looking at steam chart and trying to get a feel for what direction the series is going. Compering to Motogp all time peak at 1,989 concurrent players (this was on launch day). Looking at MotoGP 2022 at a all time peak on launch day its at 673. This is all just Pc tho. But it seems to me,more are waiting to pick Motogp up this year. And from what i played this far, im not a fan. Mostly as the Ai just is not up to par. Dont feel like im racing the Ai, im suviving it( been like this for most Motogp games tho). As i player i like to ride fair, not bargain or divebombing. So having Ai doing that all the time, not coming out of slipstream just hit you in the rear gets to me and i just get frustrated.
    And Ai bike retrieval not to come back.
    I do like that Ai dont crash as easily when you hit them tho, like you said in the review!

    I know that might be silly question you got asked hundreds of times... But have you ever tried playing motogp game with the wheel and pedals? I know i know.. the bikes are not driven by a wheel. But they are not driven by gamepad neither. I just thought it might be interesting and maybe then easier in the end to add the legs into the play. I don't know if it's even possible to be compatible on xbox. But if so, any experience with that?

    • @DrAce46
      @DrAce46  2 роки тому

      I’ve heard some players actually do use wheels but to me I think that’s bizarre 😂 it’s not possible to use the rear brake for example due to the lack of pedals. You can try it but I would advise against 😂

    • @lukassedlacek8308
      @lukassedlacek8308 2 роки тому

      @@DrAce46 ok, thx.. I dont think rear break would be a problem... There is lot of buttons on the wheels. So one break on the pedal, the other one on the buton, just like with gamepad - trigger/button.... I am just curious if somebody has an experience with that... but anyway i dont even know if its compatible - if the game allows the wheel to connect. Still thinking about trying:)

    Did u change your mind about liking more 21? U said 22 is your fav gp game not long ago..
    Sounds like they added aid on physics?
    I,know there's been a few physics handling updates on 22.
    I prefer feel full free physics but then im on 19 and find it pretty nicely balanced in handling difficulty.
    Doesn't need to be a torture either, as long as it feels believable ofc, and a realistic challenge at the limit.

    • @DrAce46

      MotoGP 19 and 20 are much easier than both MotoGP 21 and 22 but I would say the braking has been easier in this game as it doesn’t require as much of a gentle touch as 21 👍🏻

    • @nickharper3137

      Manual starts is better than auto start , manual gear also help , put first gear , hold the clutch look to the light signal throttle full , when the lights are off release the clutch at the sametime hold the throttle and switch gear fast enough and you get good start but not always guaranteed success, you just have to practice

    • @DrAce46
      @DrAce46  2 роки тому +1

      To echo what Nick said, use manual starts it helps 👍🏻 although I use semi automatic gears and manage alright.
      You have to careful with the throttle too, don’t full rev. Feather it a little
