Agreed mate the Msport colours are spot on. But the all black is my next favourite.
The M1000RR in the black carbon is unreal and I love the Aero disc and the added carbon parts with the red blue and black it just looks unreal.

I own the 2022 S1000RR M Sport owned it 14 months now and I love it, mods got rid nearly all the black plastic panels for carbon fibre, replaced the foot pegs with the M versions which make a hell of a difference. Grips did suffer with vibration wrist ache purchase Grip Puppies ( Amazon) just slide them over the standard grips it increases the diameter and softer on the hands and wrist's night and day change. Double bubble dark screen like you over 6ft tall. Purchase Extra Comfort Seat off eBay thicker and softer no more numb arse. ASV levers fully adjustable. So dam happy with the BMW. New sub here ride safe me old mucker. 😎👌

I'm curious how shorter riders feel. Do they feel just as compressed? I don't think mirrors on sportbikes don't really help. I'm surprised nobody has incorporated a rear view camera into their bikes yet.

As far as power to weight ratios and performance are concerned, another channel just completed their drag race series and the Ducati beat the BMW consistently. They switched riders to eliminate the humor error factor and the Ducati came out on top with all 3 riders. But either bike has more power than anyone can use on the street. Since power is close enough to be equal, then the only two criteria that matter are ergonomics first followed by styling. If the bike hurts your back, buying it would be foolish. If both bikes are equally comfortable, buy with your heart, buy the one that makes you go WOW when you look at it. I don't care what anyone else thinks or says, it is my money and my bike. It has to fit me and I have to love the styling. That is why there are 3 Italians in my garage right now.

Since the performance is similar and you find the ergonomics of both to be comfortable, then go with the one that you find most sexy. I won't buy an ugly motorcycle. These are more than just a tool. Any hammer will drive a nail. These are finely tuned performance machines and should have a WOW factor in looks. I bought a Diavel 1260S because it checked all the boxes. Great ergonomics, great power, beautiful Italian styling. Buy with your heart, both brands offer finely tuned high performance machines.

Anyone of any size on a sport bike is going to have numb hands and sore wrists if one leans one’s weight on them. This also risks unintended inputs to bike. Get some tank grips, squeeze the tank with your thighs, and hold up your weight with your core letting your hands almost rest on the grips. I’m sure you know all of this already. Lol. You’ll have better control over the bike with fewer aches and pains when you ride it how it’s designed to be ridden.

BMW parts and service make the Ducati parts and service look like a flea market bargain. The new Ducatis now go 35,000 miles before the first valve check. No more DESMO valves on the V4 engine. Longer oil change intervals due to more oil capacity as well. Audi invested millions in Ducati and gave them a lot of new tech, the Ducati ABS and traction control is the best out there. Ducati is on par with BMW for durability.
