My grandmother taught me to take half an envelope of jello with hot water, drink it as hot as you can , it coats your throat for awhile and it's such a relief. Throat infections are so painful 😢.

So glad you’re feeling better!! I had chronic tonsillitis as a kid, and throat pain is the worst! Tea with manuka honey is the best!! 😁❤️👍🏻. 🌈🌈🌈

Hey Katie, I'm glad you're starting to feel better! I watched your kitting up video and think it's soooo satisfying to arrange the containers according to color 🌈 I'm currently (still) working on my cross-stitch conversion of Tinkerbell (Shout out to Jaded Gem Shop). 60.38% so far and absolutely loving it!!
Here I am, watching more old content while I work on my own WIPs. I tend to buy a lot of DAC kits, mostly because of the free shipping and discount codes. There are a few kits from Jaded Gem Shop that I would love to have, but I can't justify 350+ (after currency conversion) for a single kit. One day!

This is a super delayed comment. I have watched this a few times while painting and commenting from the UA-cam app on the tv is awful. I love your content and glad everyone seems to be feeling better now. There have been recent studies proving that strep can live outside of the body on surfaces for an extended period of time. You were definitely on to something there. I get the guilt of feeling "wasteful" by just throwing those straws away, but for your and your family's health it was probably for the better to just replace them and not risk it. Thank you for all of the content!
Great small shops, and I’m not a big beach person either lol…I can watch and listen to the ocean for a few minutes, and then I’m good 🤣 if I get sand on me, it’s all over 👍🏻🌈

When I was young and sick. My Grandma would give me a hot Totten. Jack Daniels, honey, lemon and tea. Then wrap me up in many blankets to break the fever. I am, like Micah a water baby. Love going to the beach. Loved Boogie Boarding. Might have something to do with being a third generation Californian. Worked at Kent H Landsberg Paperland with some co-workers from the Midwest and they didn't get the beach. They didn't even get me going to Maui on a regular basis.
If you like to drink wine, stay away from Stella Rosa's Pineapple with Chillies. Heartburn city.

You had me curious, so I did some googling. According to the CDC there is a strain of strep that can survive on surfaces for 6.5 months. Your kids aren't the last ones in school! My boys finish school tomorrow (June 22nd). I'm glad you are on the mend! 🌈
I was told by my daughter's daughter that the Strep virus can live up to 3 days outside the body. Hope you're feeling better! ❤

I love that rainbow putty!!! I'm working on Voyager in square diamonds and Rainbow flower power. Both by DAC. Can't wait until the one you're doing is back in stock or I may get another one on that site that has 90 colors and is rainbow vibes. My husband and I love to see rainbows in the sky. It just finished storming so maybe we will see one today! 🌈🌈

Katie. Would you consider doing a video if small shops(trays,pens etc)that deliver to overseas. A lot of US shops dont deliver to Australia. Just a thought 😁
I hope the rest of you and your family's summer is illness free! 😊 I've been pulling all of the symbols I will need for each section out at the start and putting them away as I finish that section. I feel more accomplished as the containers are off the table and when done the section all of my containers are put away. I too, have to pick up my canvas before meals etc.
I do my washi the other way round so what ever on edge and thick to section if needed

I always buy the cheapest 5 pack of toothbrushes and make them 1 day use each for first 5 days of strep. My 1 kiddo gets recurring strep. So we are extra precautious!

It's winter where I live so DP is a bit harder to do, but I'm glad to know you'll be enjoying summer time! I just finished a painting and I'm getting ready for my next one. I don't have access to this 🌈 of colours here but that's fine, one day I'll try to import some colorful and special ones to fulfill my dream 😊

I’m so new to Diamond painting! I have a little gnome holding a daisy. It also has welcome down one side. It is daunting to begin but it gets easier as I go. I just joined Diamond Art and am enjoying looking at what they have. Anyway, I hope everyone gets better soon. I’m fortunate to have a spare bedroom that is my craft room. Hi. I am kitting up “Jewel of the Sea” for July’s #Allthingsmagical event.
I haven’t finished the video yet. I am on vacation with my husband this week and am working on the mini insect kit from Paint Gems. I also am using the Lean Boy cat proof tray that fit nicely in the Paint Gem box. (I brought along a bigger tray at your suggestion!) I took a photo of my set up in the hotel room, but forgot that I couldn’t attach a photo here!!!

Hi again, Katie. Just wanted to let you know that UA-cam changed my YT name. It was Lisa Newf, but they changed it to put the @ sign in front of it and a number. On the registration form for Summer with the Masters, I had put the first one which was before I noticed they had changed it. I tried to reset it to the original name, but the closest I could get was @LisaNewf so that's the one I'm sticking with. Are you able to change it on the registration form or is there some way I can do it? Thanks.
