Here's another diamond painting I did recently: ua-cam.com/video/jHRV45U-yQc/v-deo.html
I've never wanted to run my hand across a painting more in my entire life...
Same
I’ve been doing diamond painting for like a year, and rubbing my hand accross them is EASILY my favourite part of the entire process
You mean a diamond-ing?
I had a blast watching this video, it was like spending a relaxing afternoon with a friend and warm cup of tea.
@@prailynnsmith2796 its like that one painting that you dont have to worry about messing it up with a beush
Pro tip: if your run out of wax you can also use blue tack. I actually prefer using blue tack, I don’t t need to refill my tip as often.
Do the gems get any blue residue? Cause if so I'm changing to that.
What? I finished 2 and I barely used any of the provided wax. There's at Least 3/4 of the wax still left haha. So funny how that differs from person to person
I like blue tack way better than the normal wax. Works/sticks better and less residue on the diamonds/drills
AlmaHeartfire for my blue tack has way less residue than the red wax has.
I picked up blue tack for this exact reason a while back.
The anxiety when you were holding the finiahed piece up, my mind was screaming "ALL THE GEMS ARE GONNA FALL!"
>:)
They’re sticky lol
The pad their putt on is VERY sticky, it takes a lot of force to get them off
same broooo, my mind was saying the same thing and i got big anxiety!
Me too... I don't think they put enough of that sticky thing
I'm pleased with how legit this company is, and they're not stealing art for the kits they sell! :)
When I finish a dp I use a rolling pin with some force so the gems have a lesser chance of coming off, if you do this you also don't have to push as hard when placing the gems.
I was going to do that but I don't have a rolling pin. I need to buy one!
Soda can? Arizona tea can?
hansendesigns maybe but be careful. I don’t know if it’s heaven enough I you the handle of a wooden spoon
Or a wine bottle if you don’t have a rolling pin ☺️
@@BayleeJae you can use a glass bottle! You need to be a lil more careful but it works :).
My poor grandma has been alone all quarantine so she’s been doing like a dozen diamond paintings to try and keep herself sane.
Oh damn-
Aww that's so cute yet sad ;-;
I bet they’re amazing!
Same - they really help with anxiety
They really help with stress and anxiety.
I thought this was cross stitching at first. I have never heard of diamond paintings before. 💎
The concept is very similar to cross stitching. I thought the exact same thing the first time I saw them. They're very similar. I think cross stitching is harder though and requires more dexterity with the fingers.
Crystal Franklin
Cross stitching is actually quite easy. (For me)
I thought that too when I first saw diamond art awhile ago and discovered they use DMC floss/thread colour charts for the gem colours. So it would be quite easy to make a cross stitch chart from the pictures before diamond painting them.
@@crystalfranklin2583 I agree, I like cross stitching but can only do small projects. It strains my eyes where they hurt and my hands get really cramped.
@@Ninainoz this makes me wish even more they'd let you buy just a pdf of their charts. I'd love to make these in cross stitch!
I’ve done diamond paintings for a while and people are finally starting to do it. I have over 50 finished ones
Wow, that's a lot! I think more and more people are giving it a chance. I used to think I wouldn't enjoy it, but I really do!
My mum done over 70 she's absolutely addicted
Bri Wright cool
My grandmother started doing these about 2 years ago and I thought it was the coolest thing! She actually sells some of hers and enters some into an art show in her area. I love doing small detailed work like that so I ordered a custom one of my dog who passed away and is was fun to do and also theraputic for me. ❤️
I’ve got an issue with these... I’ve finished over 60 with all of them being pretty big, and it’s been about 1 1/2 years, AND I’m a full time student
Used to be a custom framer at Michael's so here are my tips for framing something like this nicely without paying for custom framing.
Get acid free foam board and stretch the canvas around a board cut about an 8th of an inch smaller than your dimensions and use straight pins to pin it into the foamy sides. Tape excess canvas to the back. This will prevent the art from possibly sagging in the frame over time. Staple into the back of the frame at an angle with a staple gun. This is the method custom framers use to frame embroidery, so you can look up tutorials if you need them.
The poster frames at Michael's are truly awful crap, honestly you would probably better off spray finishing the gem art and throwing that plastic away as it scratches easily.
Also, a framing note not specific to gem art, non-professionals always frame stuff by laying the frame face down and placing the art into the frame... Its much better to lay the art on a clean flat surface, place the glass or plastic on top, then the frame, then flip it over. This way you can see if there is dirt or hair under the glass or plastic BEFORE you've closed the whole thing up.
Or... hear me out.. you could.. buy a frame 🤭
Mia Couch Wow! Thanks for this- really
@@phoebechandler8932 "Or you could just buy a frame." My advice is on HOW to frame it after you have bought a frame. Which is pretty clear if you actually read the whole comment 😂
Mia Couch yeah I did but here in the uk when u buy a frame you just have to make sure ur canvas is cut to the right size and then you put it in and it’s done.. you don’t have to do all this fancy stuff with nail guns and canvas which would cost more than just buying a precut frame
@@phoebechandler8932 what you are describing could result in the canvas sagging over time or slipping in the frame. I get that you just don't care all that much about doing it the right way and that's fine. But I am going to go on my little rant anyways because this is just a huge pet peeve of mine--- people think framing is about making art look pretty or whatever and it has become that for most people. But frames weren't invented to make art pretty... Art is already pretty! Frames were invented to protect art and other valuables. Everything a framer does is to prevent bad things from happening to the art. The glass protects from dust, the frame protects the edges from damage the matting protects the paper from moisture gluing it to the glass and etc.
Okay so maybe you don't care if the art starts to slouch or sag in the frame. But some people do! So like. Chill. Lol (And yes I see the irony in my saying chill after being so un-chill.)
Honestly, I tried one of these once and did not make it very far. It looks crazy!! I can't believe you did all that!!!!
Michelle Pasha they’re very time consuming, i believe it’s the point.
Get a small one that’s what I started with they are easier and cheaper In case you don’t like it
My cat spilled my “Diamonds” and I’m still trying to resort them
Your cat is an icon. Truly.
So cute!
Lmao did you ever finish re-sorting them?
its been 7 months dude did you finish sorting them?
@@thejennagames8843 nope. I gave up and bought a new one
I’ve seen diamond paintings everywhere but none of them have interested me. But now I want the At Peace diamond painting 😍
The multi tool takes some practice I’ve learned. Also I like square gems more than round just bc I feel like the finished product just looks more finished bc there are no gaps. I’ve also discovered that the squares shake and line up better in the tray than the rounds! I love this!
I have only done rounds now I’m trying a square it’s coming soon but it depends on what you like
But now I have a square I like it more cause they look better and line up on the canvas easier
@@jessfidler2356 I think the rounds sparkle more and look prettier, but I do like how finished a square looks.
@@MrsMrMoney yea
I got 2 of them late yesterday :D "Vera" and " At Peace"
Thank you! ^_^
My name is Vera.... lol
@@verakongensholmruby9491 *aloe vera*
I want to get at peace but I can’t find it on the website can you help
I got At Peace. She's stunning. Thanks for sharing your art over on DAC.
Thank you!!
I did this when I was younger and it was sooooo SATISFYING TO RUN YOUR HANDS ACROSS THE PAINTING!!! It was also so fun and entertaining (atleast for 6yr old me) they were also so cheap here in Cambodia about 10€ - 50€ at most (small paintings)
Prom Sovantith Molika I've been to Cambodia and it was amazing! I wish I could have gotten a diamond painting!
I love diamond painting xD yours look so fun, too. It's strangely satisfying putting the gems on the canvas and seeing the picture as you put more on. I've done two smaller diamond paintings and am currently working on a larger scale one. It's also great for when one is not well cause one can just zone out. So exciting to see your diamond painting! Good luck with the new addiction!
Omg Baylee, the patience needed for that! Can't believe you managed to do it, I would have given up about halfway, haha...
I would give up by the first square inch. -_-
I thought that too until i tried it lol. Its pretty relaxing
I think that’s what is going to happen to me. I actually have one arriving tomorrow and I’m so excited! I’ve never done one before!
It’s actually really relaxing - I started this hobby a couple years ago and I didn’t think would finish my first painting but once u get into it u don’t even realise how long you’ve been doing it for
It's really relaxing to do
Just make sure your doing it on a table or something I did it on the floor once killed my back
This has actually inspired me to want to dig up my old diamond painting I started like 2 years ago. The thing is... I have no idea where I put it lol.
That is so cool you are working with DAC, they are one of the best diamond companies. I am a diamond painter and have my own channel on diamond painting. When I first started seeing your art I thought they would make a great diamond painting. Unfortunately some of these companies that you send a photo in to get a custom will steal your art. Harbor Freight sell the best containers for the diamonds. Great video. Any questions you have I would be happy to help
You can get your 4 year old a small one maybe? One with bigger stones and you can do it together maybe :P. Even if it doesn't come out right and you'd probably need to help it could work.
'This one has 40 colours.'
'This one has 39 colours. The most colours out of all of them'.
lol
Woops, lol.
I caught that, too 😄
I've been obsessed with diamond paintings.. im so happy for you to beable so put your artwork out further into the world! Cant wait to check out some of these!
It's beautiful. I love the autumn colours.
Its so weird how fast you did this to me because i watch the bumble baylee vlogs everyday and i remeber when you first got these 🥺
How cool! I've never heard of these but I can definitely see myself getting into them in the futute, I used to do something similar but it was with string and it made a tiny carpet in the end.
Those colors are so vibrant and gorgeous!
Love love LOVE DIAMOND ART CLUB! 🥰🥰❤️ Your art is Beautiful!!!!
Oh my gosh, I was going to recommend you to DAC, I woke up and seen this I was so excited❣ Yay, thank you for sharing this❣ I say Vera next, she is in my cart lol❣
This is soooo awesome, Baylee! They're beautiful. I wish I could afford to buy at least one of them, but alas, I cannot.
Your diamond storage is almost identical to mine and i keep shaved dry pastels in the same type of containers too. Oh gosh, it is absolute hell when you drop a bunch of the diamonds. I've done that a lot. I love diamond painting though. It's so relaxing.
Congrats!
They have a 4 month instalment plan. I bought two and only had to have $23 up front, as long as you have a debit or credit card
I've seen so many ads for these things and have always been curious! I'm so happy you've got some gorgeous prints up so I can try my first one!
Wow. I’ve just come across this video Baylee. I can understand your heart skipping a beat when you unrolled the art!! That’s how I felt when I opened Vera yesterday! 💖
I love the way this turned out, I really want to diamond painting of aurora and prince Philip kissing
"I've been waiting like a day." That's a long time when it comes to art supplies!!
I love how happy you sound in this video!! I'm glad you had fun, I loved seeing this video. :)
Watching you do this was SO satisfying! It looks so beautiful finished 👏🏼👏🏼💕
OH MY GOD! Diamond paintings are really fun, but they take SOO long in my experience.
My 'Bakery' is on it's way
Yay, thank you so much!!
I’m jealous there sold out now hopefully it’ll be back in stock soon❤️❤️
I want it but I live in England so I would have to pay for postage as well! That’s my fav as well!! Lucky!!
They’re so beautiful!!🤩🤩 wauwww
So excited for these!
Omg i LOVE diamond paintings, but nobody really does it 😢
The diamond painting community is actually really big! There are tons of diamond painting videos here on UA-cam.
@@BayleeJae really!? Ill have to look some up! Everyone in my town laughs at me for doing it 😂
There are alot of people on youtube doing diamond painting, I suggest Mrs. Crochet and coffee, Rachel Rae and Crafting with Ann 😄
That is what I found when I started my channel almost 2 years ago. Since then this community has grown exponentially! You would be surprised at how many closet diamond painters there really are 😂
there’s lots of online communities! check out ones on facebook and reddit :))
as a michaels framer this PAINS ME but this it’s still so cool!!!!!
Love your videos!! Can't get enough!! Your art is awesome!! COLORS YES!!!!❤
Love your new hair Baylee also the autumn girl diamond painting is so pretty! I like the colors.
I've seen ads for this place. It's cool they partnered up with you and have some of your art on there =)
A glitter resin top coat on top of that to seal it would make it look utterly gorgeous!!! This must have taken forever! The work deffo paid off though!!!
I like how it looks over the light box..it stands out so nice
I've been wanting you to do this for like, a year. I'm so happy you have! You should tell the other artists here on youtube to try it too. Your artwork is great and it looks great as a diamond painting.
Also a great idea if u keep the clear plastic intact when finish put it back on and rolling pin finished piece to help stick diamonds
I definitely don’t have the patience to do this, but it looks so cool!
That's beautiful!!! Love your art work ! I just got into diamond paintings. It's very relaxing .
Love your artwork! Can’t wait to order! These are the containers are use to kit up my diamond art club. I love them they’re awesome!
Told myself that I was going to save money this month then this happened 😭😍
UA-cam recommended this video to me and i didn't even know about your channel, but i loved this video. Definitely going to subscribe 👍🏼
Thank you! ^_^
@@BayleeJae is it safe right now to order online? I really want one of these!! And I just found your channe too! I subscribed!
Yes! Love Diamond Art Club!
im back at this video again and wanted to say that this made me pursue my interest in diamond painting and licensed art. I hope you release more art with diamond art club in the future!
i’ve officially decided baylee is the cutest human to ever exist
Yeah.. except she's so optimistic that it's like 😅
These are so cool, but I'd neverrrr have the patience. Plus I have a 4 year old who'd want to "help" lol
I got stickers on ali Express which works great for children they went very expensive and great so I could do mine while she done her stickers
Yay i love diamond paintings and was so excited to see you are having your art made into them.
I love that you show how you have organised them too. I have so many art supplies and its great to get ideas for storage.
Since they take such a long time you should do one each quarter of the year. So in two-three months do the next one. But the end of the year you will have them all done!
I'd buy them but that's still pretty expensive for diamond art, I feel $30 is more appropriate, still up there but worth it.
i found a lot of mine off amazon for 15-20$ and they’re about 30cm by 40cm and come with everything you need!
@@morgansweeney6392 DAC is expensive but I find that it is worth it considering the quality and the fact that they license art. Most cheap diamond paintings from amazon and ali express tend to steal art and not compensate the original artists which is a deal breaker for me. Right now I exclusively buy from DAC but only every once in a while because of the cost, other shops that license art are DIY Moon Shop and Treasure Studios Art. Hope you all the best in your diamond painting!
YAY! I have been so invested in watching you work on this! Happy launch day!
Please do more of these! I’ve watched this video quite a few times now 😂 So far you have my favorite diamond painting video, and I’m currently getting back into diamond painting. Anyways just please do more of these videos!
I wanted to share with you my experience on the Diamond Art Club website, I've been waiting for you to release these since you showed them on your VLOG channel, I'm in Australia so I went to to site and popped Bakery in my cart, did what you suggested and got my code for signing up for the newsletter, Sadly postage to Australia is $24.95 USD! this means that even with the 10% off this is a $60.95 USD purchase which is $92 AUS I'm just so sad I've been watching keenly for months for this as you mentioned stuff was in the works, shipping on this site is just... horrendous... I could pay for it to be express... for $45 USD, I know I'm a long way away if there was an option where they were like its $10 but will take a month I'd take it. So in summary.. I didn't buy it it was just too expensive.
Jenny Kaine code DIAMOND20 takes 20% off. Idk if that helps. I read it in the comments.
Shipping to AUS from the US is always super expensive, sadly. I had someone in AUS interested in some art of mine, but the shipping cost just made the price too ridiculous no matter how I looked at sending it.
Yeah, I noticed other Aussie's having the same concern... That does really suck. Maybe save up & it can be a special treat? Or maybe you can get cheaper ones elsewhere? But quality might be a concern... I did see some other codes floating around, maybe you can use multiple discounts?? Good luck though! I really hope you find a solution!! ❤
Fellow Australia here! I actually found some of these in a store called lincraft, not sure if its the same brand but it can get really cheap like $10 for a small one :) (I got myself a small one, just started and it seems alright quality)
You have art, you have manga, you have a cat.... I'm in!! ❤
u are so lucky ^^ and the piece u choose with the orange tones are the best from the 4 :3 ! love it
Diamond painting is my therapy! I suffer from really bad anxiety and depression and Diamond painting has legit saved me. Within just a few minutes my mind is calm, I’m relaxed, and just kinda slip off into my own little world for awhile. DAC is the only company I will purchase from so thank you for offering your beautiful art through them! I can’t wait to get all of your pieces!
Oh what a fun idea! Haven’t actually heard of companies like that before... I have a few art kiddos who love sticker mosaics who might be keen on trying this hmm fun!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂!! 👩🏼🦳👊🏽✨
Cute jumper btw... xx
Let’s try this?! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love how you used your own art to make new art, if that makes any sense. So using you’re drawing to make the the diamond painting.
Your characters bring a warm happy feeling, I love them!!
I'm so excited I ordered my bakery diamond painting this morning I can't wait to get it and start it!!!!
The 65€ with the shipping breaks me :( but I'm just drawn to it, I don't know what to doooo
Aphrodite Echo code DIAMOND20 might help 20% off. Idk
Thats beautiful! And such great quality! I was so surprised at how well the tool including the multi-tool worked! And how well the diamonds stuck to the canvas.
I got recommended this video and am so excited for this. I have all of your pieces in my favorites on diamond art club. I can't wait to do them!
I have a mixed bottle and tray of all my "runners" that way I can sort them all out at once
So proud of you girl. Your hard work is paying off!
Yay! I so happy you artwork is in diamond painting form now. I love diamond painting. Already a DAC member so I will have to add yours to my stash. Also I bought your book last year and really love it. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
That is Sooo cool!!! I want to bling my art so bad now!!! Your art is great for this love the colors! :)
Congratulations! What a thrill to have your art on diamond paintings. I love Diamond Art Club. Your picture came out great!
This looks soooo amazing omg 😍😍😍 I love how it turned out!! The colors are so pretty and it doesn't look cheap like I had initially expected. It looks super high quality and your art really shines through this medium haha I love it! 💕
Congratulations! It came out beautiful.
I am so excited for this and for you! I love to diamond paint and have a lot of diamond paintings. And seeing that you have some of your art as a diamond painting! I just AHHH I'm so excited!!!!
^_^
I’m so so happy for you! I have been watching ur art forever and love it! I love DP.. I’m going to order your kit!
Ooooo, I find your organization choices so pleasant!
PLZ do more of these🥺 I love them💕
I ordered one of these and I CANNOT wait to start it!
you are such an AMAZING PERSON!
So wonderful that you diamond painted your own art, which I love by the way, fantastic x
Beautiful! Even before I saw yours finished, I knew I wanted this same one. Now it's on the way. Most of my DPs are darker images (in color, not topic), so this is a real departure for me.
These are so sparkly and fun!
I LOVE theses! They're soooooooooo adiccting and low key kinda satisfying lol me and my mom made bracelets like this and I got a dolphin on for my bday recently which I can't wait to start!
Oh my gosh. I just ordered my first kit and I saw a video with bakery and Vera and wanted to get those immediately. I had no idea they were by you. They are absolutely stunning
Such a good video!!
I loved how you show the process of getting the containers and then also framing the panting... It was all so satisfying. And of course, the art is lovely.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the format. I think it's much more entertaining this way because the video is broken down into sections, plus you get to see the whole journey.
Gorgeous. Well done. Love your videos.
These are all so pretty!!
Really excited for you Baylee! I will send my sister the link because she does these all the time! Really happy for you. Now just keep up the good work making wonderful art!
Thank you!
I really enjoyed watching your streams with this projects! And I'll get a diamond painting as soon as I have enough of a workspace - there's no room for this in my apartment at the moment x)
Wow, it looks amazing, and You manage to finish it on time. I'm so happy for you :)
OMG💙 Im getting most of your art once their restock
You're really down to earth, bubbly and not pretentious so it's nice to hear you say you're appreciative that your art works are sold as diamond paintings (esp on good diamond painting companies). It's just nice to see good things happen to good people. Well done.
