Hi Rob... that's one of the many attributes of Queen that set them apart from other bands of the times, their harmonies and their transitions... you never knew what they'd come up with next... so exciting and so amazingly talented...vocally and instrumentally... also, they played such a variety of genres of music, they literally CREATED THEIR OWN GENRE of music... EVERY song is a favorite... please keep up the great work... we're here for you... blessings.
Thanks, Rob.. this was once voted "happiest song ever".. lol.. Queen has so many surprising and varied songs... enjoyed your reaction to this, and hope you do more... (p.s. you've probably heard this in a couple of movies.. and even clips in commercials)...
You're absolutely right! Queen's music is so diverse and always brings a smile. I'm glad you enjoyed the reaction-I'll definitely consider more Queen songs in the future!
he was born in India and moved to The Uk. Because of his race, the huge overbite, small and weak he was bullied terribly. I don't know the story about how the band came together just that you can see how energetic and emotional he is. He is putting all his gifts out there and he's victorious. He's on top of the world. Look at the reaction of the crowd. If we had a type of camera we would see a huge force of energy going back and forth. We can argue that this was the greatest performance of The 80's. I grew up with them and I wasn't a fan. I'm 61 and finally catching up!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's amazing to see how music transcends personal struggles and brings people together. Queen's performances truly had a magical energy that resonates with everyone, regardless of age or background.
They are all one of my favourite queen songs, when I have just seen a good reaction. This song was voted the most up beat cheerful song in the world in some poll or other... so I have read in other comments. It certainly does lift your spirits. Please do Live Aid 1985. Freddie commands the whole stage in front of 80, or 90,000 people. Also there is good crowd interaction. This was a feature of Queen Concerts. In Fact the Anthems 'We will Rock You" and "We are the Champions" were written by Brian and Freddie for this very purpose.... so that the Audience could interact and participate. Radio Ga Ga also gives lots of opportunity for the crowd in Live Aid Concert. Also the famous "AY OH' section. Pleeeeease!!!!😁
I like that you brought up his ability to do lyrical while doing movement and transition to/from instruments. 👏🏼 This one is actually the album track lined up with a studio rehearsal sound stage. They practiced often and Freddie knew his songs so well it was easy to synch up and it could be a mixture of it recorded here and the album. Music videos of them on stage can be crowdless (controlled) or with real crowds (authentic live performance). There official music video of Someone To Love has concert footage from 1976 Hyde Park concert visually timed well to music of STL but concert was before that song was written. Queen is phenomenally skilled. I think it's amazing how Freddie can play the piano standing just as well as sitting. Think about it ... the angle of the wrists needed and the bulk of the leather jacket impeding movement. I have no doubt the piano sound was perfect even if it isn't specifically what we hear here. Watch Someone to Love LIVE 1981 Montreal and you'll see him transition off and on to the piano never missing a key mid song!! To pick up exactly is incredible. we always hear at the beginning of songs the keyboardist kinkering with the keys... can't tinker mid song. Freddie's mind just must have been magical.
You’ve made some excellent points! Freddie’s talent and precision are truly unmatched, and it's fascinating how they seamlessly combined studio magic with live performance.
❤loving your Queen reactions, you should check out fat bottom girls live at Montreal, it’s fast and Fred is running all over the stage as always & never missing a beat, he was totally unique in that way, never seemed to be breathless live. Total package. RIP Freddie, you were a gift to this world 🌎 ❤
Loved your reaction to this iconic Queen song that has been played in so many events, movies and commercials over the years. I’m not sure if you have realized just how big Queen the band and Freddie Mercury were ….and they still are considered one of the greatest rock bands and singers of all time. They have a catalog of almost 300 songs including solo albums …… that spread out over 20 years of hit songs around the world. Please do react to the 1985 Live Aid concert …..But then there will be so much more after that ….. Hope you reach your 100 subscribers and more before the end of the year. Thank you 😊

He was born in Zanzibar not India.

This is my attitude adjustment song. If I am in a funk, this one will pull me right out of it.
Thanks for watching as always

I did see FBG studio. I may check out the live version in the future.

I did not know before, but reacting to some of these songs has clued me in on just how big they are.
This is Freddie's anthem of hedonism. He was able to run around huge stages while singing, but this is not a live performance, just a video shoot.
Oh this was for a video? I see
Not a good song to interrupt. Too iconic to ruin 😱
Haha sorry about that. Gotta do what I gotta do 😂
You really have no clue about queen do you, do your research before you do a reaction next time.
Thanks for watching. If I knew everything already, I wouldn't have much to react to!
