Thanks, Dan! Yep.. this was once voted "happiest song evah!".. lol... appreciate your reaction.. this was not just "Freddie & some guys".. a whole band.. everyone was amazing..
Freddie Mercury lead singer diploma in Graphic Arts and Design, Sir Dr Brian May lead guitar PHD in Astrophysics, Roger Taylor drums Degree in Biology after changing from Dentistry, John Deacon bass guitar First Class Honours Degree in Electronics, all four are multi instrumentalists, all four inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, all four wrote number one hits there you have Queen ❤ x
The Queen catalogue is SO GOOD that this fun, energetic, and pumped up song doesn't make my top 25 favorites from them. Again, its because their catalogue is so good. I do love this song. It's naughty and fun and banging ( no pun intended). But thinking about every album and running through their songs in my mind, it would probably be number 26. Others would have it in their top 10 or top 5. Good on them and i can certainly understand why. It's such a great song.
I guess because their discography is so diverse, and every song demonstrates their clear talent and passion as artists, any one song could be someone's favorite. I have yet to listen to most of Queen's songs, but I'm excited. This one is definitely at the top, of the 4-5 that I've heard thus far!!
If I am having a bad attitude day, this is the song that always turns that around, such a mood elevator. I never get tires of this song, thank you and Happy New Year.
Loved your reaction to this iconic song ……you really do need to react to more Queen songs. I don’t know how familiar you are with the huge Queen catalog of almost 300 recorded songs including solo albums…..but even songs that you think you know from the recorded studio versions ….are just not the same as watching the live performances. May I suggest “One Vision” “Under Pressure” or “A Kind of Magic” ….. these are all great live performances from Wembley 1986, which was the last concert that Freddie did with the band Queen. Also …..did you know that Freddie co-wrote an opera album and performed on stage with opera singer Monserrat Caballe’ in 1988 Barcelona….. all three performances are fabulous. You should definitely check these out too…. Thank you 💕 ….looking forward to your next Queen reaction.
One of my favourite Queen songs, but please Dan, Freddie himself would never have described Queen as 'his band'. They all contributed so much, even though Freddie gets the kudos as the lead singer. Sorry to send you something negative, but that kind of remark is so wrong.
I don't really understand why people find that to be a derogatory term... It's not my intention, but to be frank, I just don't know all their names yet, because I haven't listened to TOO MUCH of Queen to know all of them. So it's easier to just describe it that way 🙂
This has become my favorite Queen song. It was NOT a pop radio hit in the U.S. back in the day, so I wasn't really familiar with it until the 1990s or 2000s when you started hearing "Don't Stop Me Now" in TV commercials, like for Cadbury chocolate or Toyota cars. 🙂
Also, Queen have an amazing back catalogue of hits. My personal faves are A Kind of Magic, Radio Gaga (where Lady Gaga took her name from) and Under Pressure with David Bowie.
Kaysee here ... I'm not a big fan of Queen but Freddie was definitely an amazing talent and the ultimate showman. My favourite song from Queen is "You're My Best Friend". Happy New Year to you Dan and I look forward to your reaction videos in 2025.
Another reaction coming on New Years... Stay tuned for that 😁 Thanks so much for being such an active commenter on my channel Kaysee. Hope to see you again next year 😅😝😂
Awesome song. You should check out the British comedy horror film Shaun of the Dead. It features a great scene with several of the characers beating the crap out of a zombie to the beat of this song. And if you watch that, you then have to watch Hot Fuzz and then The World's End. They have different plots and characters but the same actors and are known as the Cornetto Trilogy. (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost being the main actors).
There was a scientific study done a few years ago, on how music affected peoples moods. This was found to be the most uplifting song of the study.
That makes sense! There's something so exciting about it.
Easy. We all know the truth-it takes others a little longer.
Queen is NOT "Freddie Mercury's legendary band". They're all legends in their own right. Freddie was PART of the legend that is Queen.
That's correct and all four members felt the same way. One member was as valuable as the other. 👑🫶💙
Fair enough
Thanks, Dan! Yep.. this was once voted "happiest song evah!".. lol... appreciate your reaction.. this was not just "Freddie & some guys".. a whole band.. everyone was amazing..
It's certainly a very happy and energetic song! Thanks for watching Gin!!
This was my dear friend’s favorite Queen song. Freddie and Queen are Amazing!!!
She has good taste 😆 They are amazing!!

Thanks for filling me in on all their names!
This song is Freddie's anthem of hedonism. It's almost impossible just to sit and listen to it without some movements or a single smile.
It's so electric!!! If someone doesn't move even a bit to this song, they're a psycho 😂
@DanCanReact 🤣

Here's a nice young man who recognises genius when he hears it. Subbed!
You must listen to Barcelona with monseratt
Thank you for the recommendation!!
GREAT REACTION LOVE THIS . BANGER.
Thanks for watching Barry 😁
Fred had been known to harmonise with himself, as he does at he beginning of Bohemian Rhapsody.
I love songs with harmonies so much, so it's such a treat to hear Freddie do that!

It was featured in Cadbury commercials? Interesting 😝
Let loose honey! - and Brian does indeed. 😄
Wooo! 😄
Just a comment - it is not Freddie Mercury and his band. He said himself that all four members were equal.
Fair enough! But I don't know all their individual names, so I said it that way 😅

Thanks for watching and subscribing Lisa!! ❤

I grew up with music from the 2000s, so that's why! 😝
