7 skills needed to select the correct answer.
Q.1) The mannual informs us that the blood pressure monitor
Here question is not complete so when reading the option we need to read together with a question the manual informs us that the blood pressure monitor is likely to interfere with the operation of other medical equipment.
In paragraph not written any other medical equipment. So option A) wrong.
B) may not work correctly in close proximity to some other devices
In paragraph written caution- care should be taken to avoid the use of the monitor within 7 m of cell phone or other devices .so option B) is correct .
option C) should be considered safe to use in all hospital environment .
All is contrast word so that option we can eliminate.
In this question cause & effect language is used.
Q.5
The guidelines require those undertaking a clinical medication review to
option A) involve the patient in their decisions
option B) considered the cost of any change in treatments
option C) recommend other services as an alternative to medication.
Here controlling idea medication review . Any paragraph there is contrast word, after the contrast word answer will come. So here also- however, the guidelines go on to say that all patients should have the chance to raise questions and highlight problems about their medicines and that any changes resulting from the review are agreed with the patient.
option A)is correct.
option B)consider the cost of any change in treatment
Here in paragraph nothing mentioned about the costs.
Option C) recommend other services as an alternative medication .
They are not referring to any other services, so option C is wrong.
