I am excited this MXT series has come full circle with gold coins! Leave a comment below on what detector you would like to see me do a series on next.
Could you please do a VDI on either a Golden Mask One 15khz/24 khz, or the upgraded Golden Mask 6 or 7 ,(all with the same great visual "Signagraph" ID screen?) The screen is unique because it provides waveforms indicating good targets from junk!
Sir, on my mxt pro , the book says to first lock your track before air tests or it will think target is ground and attempt to track it out, good video , you know more than me, I,m a new comer to this.
Yes, you want to forsure pump the coil to your current searching location. I found these vdi's to be quite reliable when the hit while searching. Best of luck! Let's see that gold when you find it!
@@hkstrongside right now im learning the nokta my v3i is in the shop from what i can tell the nokta is a solid detector i hit a 8 inch silver dime it was a whisper im trying to learn how to listen deep
That is a great question. I never got to use the prospecting mode much but from what I understood it looks for ground mineralization changes that would be good indicators that there could be gold present. I have no idea how it would of responded to an actual gold coin. I will need to try this on the next one I get my hands on. Great question.
That’s a great question. I do have a small platinum coin I could test. I will put it in the list. I might be able to borrow a full set of platinum too.
Generally while in Coin & Jewelry it will also take into consideration size and shape to determine what it thinks it is. This example is for gold coins, so we want that extra examination. If I were looking for nuggets Coin & Jewelry is not the way to go. I don't have the machine any longer so I can double check the reading.

I'm from Pennsylvania. First time I saw your channel. I have an MXT and I need to learn these numbers and and start digging everything lol
Nice, really that’s what it comes down to, digging everything! Ha ha. You just don’t want to miss anything good!
Still running my MXT 300 . LOVE IT
MXT is such a solid line.

Sorry my friend, I no longer have access to this detector.
That's a heck of a coin collection you got there!
It’s a fun hobby for sure!

Which model did you get? I am not very familiar with them. They look cool for sure.
@@hkstrongside nokta anfibio multi i had an etrac sold that so i could get the nokta wasn't impressed with the etrac
@@hkstrongside love my v3i the only thing is it doesn't adjust to small coils very well any ideas
What would the vdi bring up when swinging the coins over the coil in prospector mode?

This is the worst mode for depth. Use 'Prospecting' mode; designed for gold nuggets AND gold coins. You still get a VDI number readout as well.
Yeha dude don't know that the prospect mode is what you want it in for gold coins or nuggets yep
I would love to see VDI numbers on an XP ORX ...... Gold numbers
Happy to make a video if I can get my hands on one.
White's DFX 300 please
If I can get my hands on more Whites models I will make one for sure!
WHAT Would platinum show up as..... you should do rings alsso

Why don’t you put it on Prospect in and see what it reads
