Hello Mr. Strongside. I enjoy your videos very much, thank you for taking the time to show the differnt readings for different coins. I'm sure it helps the people just getting into metal detecting and people purchasing the White's mxt. The only thing I might add to your video on nickel readings is that when the weather has been rainy for a while and the ground is soaked, it reads 22 on nickels, something to do with the water in the soil. Thanks again for the videos. Rick.
Good video Bro... Nickels are hard to master, but with a good detector and sharp mind/intuition you can separate them from the trash... When in doubt, dig... ;-)
Great information! Couple questions: 1) Stronger the VDI reading the better? 2) If you see ring and nickel being displayed at the same time, would the ring VDI be higher if you were looking for a ring?
Thats the funny thing about the tech we pour money into. We want it to tell us when to dig always and the only reliable way to really get the good stuff is to dig everything!
Thanks for the video have to say as far as nickels your not going to get same reading air test as in ground silver coins pretty well yes nickels no I was getting 24 with nickel ground was little wet numbers were jumping around you have consider were your hunting as far as saying 20 nickel for sure no.
My advice is you better dig everything or you will miss out on alot of rings and nickels,,,,,,Depth and trash with a good target will also give you odd vdi numbers

Just picked up an original MXT last week off Craigslist. Looking forward to some coin shooting. Thanks for all the tips.

Good video. I always did anything that bounces from 20-22. I found a titanium ring once that way. Still though non-consistant VDIs usually means junk.
