As so do i myself. I am 63 as well, love feeding all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks raccoons ect. Been feeding them for years. Gives me great spiritual joy inside my soul.

Years ago I visited Assisi and had the privilege of being able to enter his tomb. I immediately felt a feeling in my stomach, and got weak at the knees, and I was filled with happiness and a memory I will never forget. Amazing.

I have strong leanings towards Buddha's teachings as well,and many Buddhists find a kindred soul in Francis,and revere him as a great saint. I was confirmed n you have to chose a saint...my wonderful mother said Richard. St Francis. I looked at her...why momma ? She patted my shoulder. You are very different than your brothers n sister. You will suffer a lot...but you are special. The cats only lay beside you..you talk to birds..you smile when you hear frogs...you are different. But don't be sad. You are special. Of course my dad laughed n said that boys a wimpy whinny kid. No he's not. He's different Took a long time for me to know what she meant. I find beauty in such small things. People laugh...I'm like look at that cool rock...I'm starring at a tree...wtf rich... wait listen...a woodpecker goes to town n I smile so great. I go to friends homes...their doggies n kitties come up to me I shit you not...their like hmmm never seen them do that. I shrug my shoulders. Idk. Inside my heart because I don't speak much...I just feel. Their beautiful. If God made me then God made this kitty...he is just a perfect thing My Lord does not make mistakes. I smile. Thank you for this video, it is lovely. One mistake that bothered me is that it is stated he was born in 1811 then goes on to talk about 1211 etc. I had to go look it up to clarify but it looks like it was meant to be stated that he was born in 1181.
