Oh. Chis, you have a talent fir spreading the joy and love of Christ and the saints like no other. Thank you for sharing this great message and sheer radiance of joy that permeates all suffering.
Thank you. I have the joy of celebrating St. Fracncis' Novena too today and just before I had the pleasure of watching this video too. God you, Chris 🙏.
Thank you for sharing, Continue the good work to inspire others through the life of saints.God bless you. St. Francis of Assisi one of my favourite saints 🙌❣️
My inspiration with St. Francis of Assisi started in college circa 70s when I joined christian ministry in school under a Franciscan nun where I experienced visiting lepers in Tala Leprosarium, retreats singing canticles of the pious saint and watching the film "Brother Sun Sister Moon". Up to now in my senior years, the virtues of simplicity, poverty in spirit, love for less fortunates and rebuild my church still echoes in my heart.
Thank you for sharing your love of St Francis. On September 17, 2024 we celebrated 800 years from te day Francis received the Stigmata because he longed to be just like Jesus, to experience his pain, but more, to experience his love. Jesus loves us so that he doesn't want us tho climb to him, he wants to come to live in each of us, bringing all his gifts and love. Francis showed us how. He did what was his to do, and invited us to do what Christ gives us to do.
Thank you. I have had some bad experiences with some liberal Franciscans. They were bad for my family to put it bluntly. I have not wanted to think of St Francis, AT ALL, and I felt badly about that. I felt the tug to reconsider the man whom many people greater than me have held in esteem, but due to my prejudices I rejected it. I appreciate this because you helped me appreciate a person who was a most worthy servant of the Lord. St Francis pray for us.
Woah. When you talked about everything hanging by a thread in St. Francis' perspective, my jaw dropped with an audible gasp. That's seriously so amazing to think about and such a radical and otherworldly way to live. Thank you for your message and for your ministry! St. Francis, pray for us!
Love is Love. I believe that your personal judgement on "Pride Month" is the antithesis of the meaning of The Prayer of St. Francis. I'm not here to debate if Homosexuality is a sin or not as I am not qualified to do so. However, God loves us all regardless of our sins, and this is why He sent His Son to die for our sins. The point of The Prayer of St. Francis, is to be God's instrument, bringing Peace, Love, and Joy to ALL.
@@SpaceWizardAcademy if you think that love and calling out sin are at odds - you are overlooking much of Jesus’ words and Francis’ life. That re-wright simply doesn’t hold. Sorry.
And of course he loves us even when we sin - and sent his son to die for our sin. But we have to repent of our sin and … Metanoia. Change. All of us. I stand under the same call as anyone else. That’s not hate. It’s the Gospel. In the same light - the love of my wife demanded I change my life to marry her. And to leave behind many things. Love demands conversion. That’s ok. That’s good.
He was a joyful guy with love for life until he was sent to prison during war and got severe Malaria. The illness turned him inward. After being released he became aimless, he seemed to have lost focus of his life, he had acute personality changes. Now, Malaria mental consequences are acute anxiety attacks, acute confusion states, acute personality changes, delirium, moderate or severe depression, conduct disorder and psychosis among other things. If his personality changed dramatically, it's showing one symptom of the illness which is: acute personality changes mentioned above. If his illness was severe while in prison, plus the depression he might have experience for being shut out in the darkness for a year, I'm sure he might have had many of the Malaria mental consequences. If he suffered from delirium and psychosis he could have imagined hearing a voice in the ruins. It also says he had recurrent cases of Malaria through his life. Maybe his conduct disorder took him to the people with Leprosy getting infected himself within time. Leprosy also attacks the nerves. I'm sure he was a nice person who tried to help others, but I don't believe in his calling. I think it was all consequences of his lifetime illness. Joan of Arc is also now questioned if she really heard a voice or if she had schizophrenia.
I am a Sister of St. Francis. Your talk was beautiful and inspirational.
Peace and all good!.

The Few Holy Books
After few births he was born as papaji in India. He married St. Clara as ganga mira, who is still alive. Papaji had a glorious ending.
Where is my church?
