Unlike St.Theresa of Liseaux's acceptance into a convent at the age of 15 and then into the sisterhood at age 21 there was a daughter of god's living far away from France who was never allowed to join any convent which she so desired to do like Saint Theresa of Avila did when joining a convent much later long after that daugher of god's died and went into the great cloud of witnesses too. That daughter of god's name is Saint Kateri Kekakwitha who suffered the scars of small pox all over the outside and the inside of her body. St. Kateri Ketackwith Tekakwitha lived in North America from 1656 - April 17, 1680 while indigenous women were often not being allowed to join any convent. Something which Saint Kateri Kekawitha wanted to do all of her life too soon after she learned about Jesus Christ. Both women died at age 24.
