I've seen so many of your reactions, that I wasn't totally surprised to see a 27 minute reaction to a 1 minute song. Ha! Adam has a great storytelling voice and manner. I recommend his recent version of Leave Her Johnny. Scratchies to Timmy.

That’s for your reaction to this song. Adam has such a beautiful voice & in my opinion, he needs to do more solo work with HF.

You are pointing out things I don’t notice (visual framing) or have the knowledge about. (Blues chords)
    Thanks for this.
I think my fav solo song from Chance is his cover of “Driver’s License”. (I have very plebeian taste)

Yes, it was recorded as he was 'performing'. He was about as surprised as you were at the quality. They were getting engagement photos taken and inspiration struck. Reilly did a great job on the sound.
Chance never moves his mouth much when he sings - makes it hard to see if he is the one singing certain parts on HF videos.
As for his tuning, he does talk about it for some songs and some guitars, but I have no idea if he did for this one - I confess I rarely listen to that part of his discussions very closely.

I'm always a bit surprised by this because Chance has such melancholy tastes in music, and here's this little upbeat Disney ditty in his channel. But it works with his storyteller voice

Oh, and yes, I saw... somewhere that Adam said (some of?) his guitar(s) is/are drop D tuned just as a default. Maybe it fits his voice better?

I was going to recommend this for your Disney run. I'll just have to pick something else 🙂

If he hasn't done, The Hound + The Fox's cover with Can You Feel the Love Tonight, with guests Rob Lundquist and his Avid Indoorsmen podcast co-host Buegs doing the Timon and Pumbaa parts is fun.
