I got the general idea that people were tired of VTGs. Not only do they borderline on being useless, too many of them are disappointing.
GT5 was the greatest video game of all time. It has been downhill since then. The Chevelle 454 LS6 was the quickest American street car of all time. It was a beast. It was a 1/4 mile drag car and not much else. There are faster cars, there are quicker cars. Anyways, I am sick of adding cars to the game. I want to drive different tracks.

Who needs race tracks in a racing game
The game is so good, but potential is SO under utilised. Thats what is frustrating. Gameplay and presentation is best in the business, but the content is not utilised in the best way.
😂 penalty sistem is crap , bop the same , alowed countersteering , braking zone , racing line , s.a. in dailies and other where DR and SR is affected , the same…
Only good thing are that is the cheapest platform , good visual , cheapest racing “sim” to run VR.

We really should do something about this. I don’t understand how PD doesn’t do more than what they are already doing. Every month they keep ignoring the core problems of the game. They keep telling us that gt7 is the real driving simulator but it’s a joke, every month getting more frustrating to play and follow this game. I would really like to know where the game is heading, what the plan and future of the gran turismo series is and we should demand more information and player choice
The greatest Gran Turismo update......would have at least 10 cars and a 1 or 2 tracks. I remember back when i played tough...the times between updates would feel so dry ro the point we vacated until the next update....just to utilize one or two of the cars and hit it tough in every aspect for a few days or a week or so. After that.... Ghost mode.

Well sarcasm or not, Polyphony has done a stellar job with GT7 and most importantly: has NOT charged for most of the updates as DLC. Plus they continue to support the game to keep things active and fresh and most games nowadays are incomplete. No complaints from my end.

I have a couple questions in case if anyone may happen to know as well and these questions are also Gran Turismo 7-related questions:
1. How come it always seems like a lot of the updates for GT7 involve more vehicles than tracks or anything else in the game itself? Personally, I still like the new vehicles and all that come out with each new update, but it would also be really great if the updates ever added more content to them, like more tracks or something perhaps even though we've had some already in previous updates in the past. It would also be really great if there was ever some sort of offline mode or something too included in a future update although there are still a few things that I can be able to do in GT7 if I'm not connected to the Internet.
2. I actually only have just the PS4 version of GT7, but are there any differences though between the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, or are they both pretty much the same almost? I was just wondering about that as well and I was actually almost thinking of getting the PS5 version of GT7 too, but it seems to be pretty much the same though almost as the PS4 version which I already have, so if that's pretty much the case, I might just stick with the PS4 version instead and it plays really well on my PS5 since the PS5 is backwards compatible with PS4 games anyway.
I just thought of asking these questions too in case if anyone here may happen to know about them perhaps and thanks.

In my opinion this is far from clickbait. I'm sure Kireth is sharing his eternal positivity.
And I agree with Kireth, the 'content is incredible', I never loose sight of that.
My personal concern of late with PD GT7 is the 2000 garaged car limit. This is real and a huge disappointment for me. And now learning of 3 more cars coming...
My strategy of holding and maintaining my GT7 garage is in complete disarray until this is fixed. And I fail to accept the limit is due to any resource issue, no way. I've been wrong before but I think this issue will only be addressed in the short term if the right people make PD aware of this significant limitation.
Game credits acquired is also an issue for me, (and i would have to assume for others too).
My (GT7 in-game) home page shows Zero credits acquired (down the bottom right of the first scrollable page), yet accurately displays the (just shy of) 2 billion credits spent....
Proof is available... and, should I be concerned? I think yes is warranted after much sweat and tears...

Another waste of time over 500 cars in the game so pointless adding more.they seriously need to sort out the penalty system i actually got a 4 sec penalty yesterday when another car went into the back of me on purpose i'm now fed up with gettin penalties through no fault of mine.also the DR SR system needs sorting as it takes forever to get them up yet you get hit off the track and end up last and they go pretty much straight back down its ridiculous.
My gripe and it's a big gripe is dirty drivers! Dirty drivers need to be banned. It's absurdly out of control!

@Kireth I don't get it. I understand I'm still at B class. I'm typically about 2 to 3 seconds slower than the A guys. But what level you're at should have nothing to do with wether or not people race clean. I understand the occasional over shoot on a turn. Specially when you're starting out. I know I've done it. But what I'm experiencing is crazy blatant. I have screen recordings of it. Things like I'll be going into a corner. The guy in front gets a bad exit. So naturally I get a good exit and start to pass as we get onto the straight. Then as I start to pass the guy will literally start ramming his car into the back of mine. Repeatedly. And there's only so much I can do to evade and avoid. I can't actually see what they're doing so I'm trying to counter based on feel through the wheel. Or going into a corner they just use you as a barrier. It's just crazy. I almost stopped racing altogether because it's just not fun when it's that bad.
I reckon all vgt cars should be able to have engine swaps like a 787b in that latest vgt
I for one want more tracks, particularly Cote De Azur and the one with the Matador mountain in the back. I miss hairpin turns!
Ditch the VGT please. There are enough of those. Update the AI, Races, events, collision physics, damage, sound (Sound is good, only wish the sound engine like in older ones that you can hear where the engine is, where's the exhaust. Even in replay mode and external cams. Now it sounds like all the cars are rear engined. Even if the actual sounds are really great!)
Maybe have these extrabonus VGT dlcs if someone wants them 🤷🏻♀️

Cars are nice yes, I think quality of life, and tracks are more important than cars at this point. Online lobby’s still don’t feel finished like they were in Sport. That is my opinion
I hope they bring the Ferrari Hyper car and also the 1977 Ferrari f1 car.

I have GT7 as well, but I actually only have just the PS4 version though of the game even though it plays pretty well on my PS5 that I have, and GT7 is also one of my favorite games in the Gran Turismo series too.

@@zero_cake874I do but it's mostly VGT Gr.1 cars (or I would like to call them the "Useful VGTs" or "VGTs for Grinding" since they can be tuned to 800pp and can be used everyday for grinding. Kinda wish the Ferrari VGT or Lambo V12 VGT had a Gr.1 variant so I use them all day but hey, I sense a Genesis VGT Gr.1 that means I'm happy.) also VGT cars are nice to look at imo, I've been interested with VGT cars even before I ever played GT7 or even GT Sport. You know there are some people who love concept cars in the game despite not being real.
I also wish they would bring more of the rotary engine vehicles rx100 rx2 rx3 rx4 the repu bith of the cosmos yes i really want the 1999 cosmo in here nothing like a three rotor turbo in here looking like a mafia car just anhilating the comp or the infamous rx3…also knowing that 2 rotors can make 2 rotors for drag racing with 1500hp reliably even more than even ls motors seems better if u have questions search up the people that participate in the haltech world series

I assume polyphony pulled the brake on the update-crew and basicly the "monthly three cars" we see are already finnished long ago.. If they still use the cars that was data mined just after release you could probably start the countdown to exit. The game is old enough not to produce that much revenue anymore, so it wouldnt surprise me at all if they at some point say "thats all folks" and just keep the RNG for tickets running. Personally i think the game was lost when they crippled the tuning section. Which they ofc did to sell more ingame credits.. but wouldnt it have been fun if the car handling would have been both realistic and insane at the same time. I bet if you put an veyron engine in a beetle you would have some monster to handle. Even keep on the ground. Still, the game have given hundreds of hours of fun so its been worth the money. But isnt it better to end on top with a bang than to slowly turn into sand..

PD has been doing this since gt5, we ask for newer racing cars they give us cars no one wants, no new tracks. This was the reason I skipped gt6 and didn’t bother playing gt sport until well after ps5 launched. To make things worse modern gt games are becoming increasingly online to the point gt7 is really not playable offline in any meaningful way. If gt8 doesn’t improve things I’ll be switching to ACC.
They should just add the Bugatti bolide 🤦

I know this might seem off-topic, but in case if anyone may be wondering, I actually have some questions about some things in mind in case if anyone happens to know the answers to them since this is just something I've been dealing with now for the past several months unfortunately.
1. My e-mail account hasn't been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen?
2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn't mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why?
3. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I've been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I've been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn't be going through to me if I already have them blocked.
I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I've been having to deal with now for quite some time and it's just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop. I just want to know why and how this sort of thing happens, and also if there's a way to possibly stop it somehow.

Well, regarding your point about GT losing its soul, I would say that with over 400 cars (yes, many variations of the same car, I know ...) I can enjoy taking a cruise on the Nordschleiffe in a 356 or 917K, or a multitude of older cars. This, I think, is what Gran Turismo is really about, and you more or less touched on that.
The latest releases of Vision cars is the opposite of this culture, I agree. But, we have the last update, which included the Toyota GT One. OMG. We have to wait far too long between releases of these legends, but when they hit, they remind us of what sets Gran Turismo apart from all the others.
I have a VR2 headset, and I know you have tried it. The level of detail in GT's modelling of the cockpits of ALL their cars is insane, and I almost weep with joy at driving these masterpieces along Grand Valley at sunset, or the Nordschleiffe, or .... I wish everybody could try it out just once.
