Thanks!
i bought a huge roll of gold foil 15 years ago from an artist garage sale ,it is one of my great treasures ,i foiled the edges of my meeden ceramic water cups,i used double sided sticky tape ,love your painting videos
That is awesome!
Your painting is lovely! I really like it! Thanks Lindsay.😉🤗
Thanks so much! 😊
Hullo Lindsay, I found this to be a wonderful ending to another sketchbook! Keep this pace up and you will soon be out of partially completed books! I am so amazed at how fabulous most sketchbooks look here on UA-cam! My books have always been work books and most have only the one project in them, sometimes two when I wanted not be wasteful of over a half of the pages in a sketchbook!
I have used several kinds of gold foiling and right now I am using the Mona Lisa sets(made by Speedball). I do find that mixing brands can be a difficult thing to accomplish, yet I am glad it is working for you! Experimenting is the KEY to mixing and matching between brands and mediums!
I have some of the m9ns Lisa stuff but haven't used it in ages. It was more difficult that my dry-sticky glue.
And the reason the sketchbooks all look good on UA-cam is because we don't show the bad ones lol!
You're an amazing artist but there's something about your mixed media pieces that are otherworldly!! I wish I could buy that one!
Thank you:)
I love the mixed media also!
This turned out so beautiful! Congratulations on completing a sketchbook! ❤
Thanks 😊
Love the mixed media. Perfect
Thanks 😊

You ended that beautiful sketchbook with a grand hurrah! 🤩
Thank you so much 😀
Lovely painting Lindsay. Yes I love the look of the distressed inks by Tim must get me some one day.
There are the oxides, I like how opaque they are!
Gorgeous painting! Love the way you made magic from the photo! I also tend to play it safe when on camera and taping for a tutorial. Kind of like stage fright for me. Love watching you experiment and create such luscious fun beauty! I'll have to try out gold foil!
Enjoy, it's fun!
Very pretty! Lovely way to finish your sketchbook
I'm glad you like it
That turned out super cute.
Thanks!
Painting outside season is now for me. I'm in the middle of Arizona, and it goes until the middle of May, depending on the temperature.

You are so welcome!
Love it!
Thanks!!
Beautiful ❤
Thanks!
Congratulations on finishing another sketchbook! I love it.
Oh, my stencils arrived today and now I can’t find the huge sketchbook I wanted them for. So I’ll test them in a small one I suppose. They look great 😊
Have fun!
Looks like the Da Vinci text is the Our Father prayer in Latin (Italian's my first language, so Latin comes with the territory, haha) - I can make out the beginning and end in the bit where you reversed it and it is not obscured by the cup. "Our father who art in heaven [...] give us today our nice cuppa tea!" 😉
actually, is that the Da Vinci? looks like you swapped stamp - either way, that's the Pater Noster in the bottom left corner
I have 2 stamps I used for script
Love this. I am not a gold foiler 😂 I got that stuff everywhere and was finding it around the room for weeks!😂😂
That sounds like gold leaf, gold foil is less messy:)
@@thefrugalcraftermaybe I need to try foil instead - that leaf stuff was a nightmare 🤣
Just fyi the stamping on an angle looks intentional- like most mixed media. I think this is a really successful mixed media piece. I really like the stamping and stenciling in the background.
Thanks!
Very enjoyable to watch! Your page turned out great 😊
Art dice? What?! Have you ever considered making a video of you using them? Sounds interesting 🧐
Also, would love to see how your stamp maker works. Do you already have a video on this? I watched a few videos last year of people making stamps with something goopy under a UV light and wanted to try it, but I didn’t want to shell out the $50 for the goop.
I've tried to make a video but my studio lights develop the gel before it's ready. I have the image pac stamp maker. I have used it in ages tho!
Yay! 🎉 Another sketchbook down! 🙌 Turned out lovely ❤ I too hate it when I stamp crooked, hah! I have never used any sort of gold foil, but have wanted too! Do you recommend this product for a beginner? Thanks, Lindsay 😊
Sure, it works great!
I love all the variety in background. So interesting. I have the foil & now know what to do with it. Can’t wait to try all of these ideas. Thanks. Btw. Where do you sell your lessons?
Lindsayweirich.teachable.com 😀
That is so pretty 🤩! I have a question: Have you tried the crayola watercolor crayons? I was just curious about them. Thanks 😊
I've tried their portfolio watersoluble oil pastels, is that what you mean? They are nice!
@@thefrugalcrafterI was just about to edit my comment! Yes that is what I am talking about Others have done the crayons. Thanks for the response, and as always for sharing your talent!
Which watercolor brands you use there? Only m graham?
Yes, just m graham in this one
@@thefrugalcrafter so beautiful 👌
You have a stamp maker? I want to know about this stamp maker! So many times I have wished I could make my own stamps!
Honestly it's a pain and rather expensive to use. I have had it for over a decade. It's the Teresa Collins stamp maker by ImageMagick. Huge learning curve (but looks easy in the sales demos 😆) I tried to do a video back then but my filming lights would develop my syams too quickly.
@@thefrugalcrafter Good to know, thank you!
Another floozy retired 😊
Yup 😆
@@thefrugalcrafter I am just going to call all of your sketchbooks floozies from now on. 😆
Really enjoyed watching your process on this one. It turned out great!
Thanks!
