I'm happy they remixed this as Oro's theme in SFV instead of The Longshoreman. This has always been my favorite of them and it fits him so much more, and it's remix is good too.

The Longshoreman is one of the best tracks in 3S, honestly. I love how upbeat and jazzy it is. Especially when you consider other tracks like... Beats In My Head. Ew. Hell, that track is so repetitive and you cant get it out of your head for hours after listening to it which just makes it worse). But this theme does definitely FEEL more mysterious like Oro does. Kinda reminds me of a 90's West Coast style hip-hop beat. I think its okay for characters to share stages if theyre from the same place, but sharing a theme should be reserved for chars like Yun and Yang that have deep personal connections. Oro has basically zero relation to Sean 😅 And even then, they have separate mixes.
While I think his SFV theme will be based on this, I'd really like to hear a small reference to longshoreman. Still think it was a missed opportunity for Chun-Li and Ryu's SFV themes to not callback to their SF3 themes at all.

Honestly, the OST on both NG and 2I really blow 3S out of the water in my opinion. Like two of the things those two did better than 3S was music and the background stages.
@duraznoches To me it's not "bad" per se, just overrated. The ost is decent/good but not close to the first two games in my opinion. It always felt like a step down in regards to that and presentation/stages.
