The summers were brutal and at one point I was ready to just walk away and quit, I had my mp3 player on random and Gill's theme came up. It gave me willpower to stop bitching and just do the job. Now I'm a machine operator and work with forklifts, reach, order pickers, EPJ's, and work just got a whole lot easy.
I think it's because of the stages, this one corresponds to an egyptian shrine with a moonlit sky with stars. Third strike was like a Greek polis. Obviously the former is much cooler.

Even though this one's Egyptian, all of Gill's stages in general still kinda give me Greek vibes, almost like a cultural fusion; it honestly reminds me of the Forums or some place in Las Vegas that's similar; a lot of Egyptian-themed architecture in Vegas (the Forums are actually based on the Roman Forums, but the simulated sky on the ceiling changes, so it actually does have a night sky at night).

Damn life has gone by fast/. So i had this mp3 file called "bass thingy" in my assorted music folder. I said wtf is this. I listened to and its was this track but its only the first 10 seconds looped over and over. Finally it clicked in my head! When i was 16 I didnt like this whole song just the beginning so I chopped it up in Cool Edit Pro. The date modified says 9/22/2002!

I would say it’s a 51/49% difference since they’re both that good, but this version is easily his best. I was extremely limited with the tracks that I ended up loving in new generation (Alex, Gill, Ibuki, Dudley,Character select, continue?) were the only ones I liked. but if I had to rank his themes: King: Nile Runner up: Judgment Day Last: Psyche Out

SF5 has a great ost, I think 4's was the worst and alpha was the best because of its mid 90's jazz, talk show style music. Then again my preference might be nostalgia since it was my 1st.
