This theme is so fitting for Akuma. A traditional Japanese flute for a master of an ancient art passed through generations playing over a fast, intense, and powerful beat that indicates the strength and ferocity of the demon lying just under the surface.
A little late, but that jazzy ambient synth deserves some love for complementing the aforementioned themes with a combination of mystery as a result of his seclusion, repetition for Akuma’s dogged practice of his art, and ambiguity in that he’ll never know just when he’s become the strongest or who could possibly make fighting worthwhile for him after he’s number one. The entirety of this theme is just godlike.

This theme is the perfect opposite all of the calm serenity that Ryu represents. Two warriors after the same goal, but taking different roads to get there. Epic 5/5
Man, stylistically SF3 was my favourite by far. The look and sound is timeless IMO. Like someone said, this combined with the moon forest stage gives me goosebumps. So well done.

I think this theme fits Akuma so well because it perfectly encapsulates him. The flute being how he's an old school fight to the death fighter and just about everything else on the beat being how's he's evolved and just about better or ahead of everyone he fights. This instrumental almost makes you feel like you're constantly trying to catch Akuma moving increasingly faster around you in a fight.
Excellent use of the Amen Break. This track suits the essence of Akuma/Gouki. Mysterious, methodical, violent, but calm. It also tells a story without any lyrics

i loved getting to the final round on this stage. Music got so dramatic if its an akuma mirror match even better you know damn well both of them are trying to end the round with a raging demon

Not much of a Street Fighter fan, but the amen break usage here is immaculate. This straight up IS Akuma's theme to be, even outside the context of Third Strike.
The possibility exists, but I don't count on that happening. The whole premise of SF6 is about "moving on", just like SF3 did, with brand-new themes for everyone. Chun Li already got a sick new tune, and I bet the same will happen with Akuma.

The classic instrument Shakuhachi well known through out japan for meditation and folk song . also it can be utilized in modern music by simply being of a longer or shorter length to change the main key. This instrument is very diverse and seen as one of the hardest instruments to master. Check it out if your into the soothing sounds it produces, i personally own a few and dabble in building them.

When I was younger, I never noticed that there was a deeper melody in a third layer of notes, just the higher melody, the flute (shakuhachi, didn't know it was called that at the time), and the drums. Now that I can't unhear it, though, it's a really cool touch to the theme.
