i just got this light about a week ago and it has instantly replaced most of my other small RGB lights. Having an app control would make this near perfect for me.
I’ve been finding mine overheats very quickly. After 30 min of it at 100% brightness, it turns off randomly and has messed up my filming. Also the mount that it’s on is very flimsy, as soon as I move it it looses it’s tightness and is then hard to have in a stationary position
This light seems incredible and bright. Do you reccomend having an umbrella for the light to shine through so that it isn't too blinding when it is in front of you?
Hello! Can PIXEL G1s work (glow) and be charged from USB charger or power bank at the same time? Do you know about the rapid self-discharge of its battery? The fact that after 3-4 months of storage, the battery from 100% can be discharged to zero? The fact that when fast charging is connected, the battery can go into protection and stop charging at all?
One thing I don't like about the Pixel G1S is that the bottom bracket does not lock, so if you want to put the light on a tripod, it will sometimes wobble or not sit perfectly. Other than that, fantastic light.
Hey! You’re not the only one who’s commented this but it’s strange because my light doesn’t have that problem. Production issue maybe? Have you tried tightening it?
@@JorisHermans the screw seems to be a hex screw. I coincidentally ordered a hex screwdriver with a bunch of different screw heads from Amazon for a different project, but once it comes in I'll trying a tighten and see if that helps, cos I really don't want to give up these lights!

You make very good content. I think you'll go very far. Will you give me a piece of advice on something? I have Sony a7c and Sony FE20mm F1.8 G lens and want to make cinematic videos with it but so far unable to do so. I dont have ND filter. Is ND filter the only remaining piece of puzzle for me to get to a cinematic b-roll. Is this camera fully capable to shot a cinematic footage or do I really need 10bit camera?

Hi, Joris I hope you see this. I just got this light today. I took a call to Amazon to find out how to get the light to stop blinking and toggling through the lights and stay still. Now I can NOT get the connectors to hold the dang things to hold the light on my camera. I'm about to view this demo. I'm a Photography Student.

Yes, I would definitely use some kind of diffusion. Also to make the light and shadows softer.

An ND filter is key to control your aperture, especially outside so I think it could be the missing piece of the puzzle, yeah.
