The Christian and Suffering
We begin a new series through 1 Peter and there's two dominating themes mentioned in each chapter: suffering and scriptures. With 10 passages referring to suffering, we learn Christians are not exempt. With 22 passages alluded to Old Testament scriptures we discover a path to overcoming. In this teaching, we overview the first epistle of Peter regarding "The Christian and Suffering", and how the first two verses of 1 Peter 1 sets a theme for what's ahead.
We are a Christ-centered community intent on proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and sacrificially serving Jesus.
