As I read my Bible I experience this type of joy when I find Jesus in the Old Testament. I did not know that it is called that "Typology" amazing Saviour. To Him be the glory! ✝️❤️🔥

THank you for this. Just this morning I read where Jesus expected the disciples to know of Biblical types (Mark 8:17-21)

The pataphysical connection between a literary and tangible reality, enabled and sustained by the concept of divine inspiration, and which would have otherwise been discontinuous, is fascinating.

Wonderful explanation of typology! I would say the ram caught in the thicket is the type of Christ in the account of Isaac. Not Isaac himself.

Doesn't Hebrews say that Issac is a type? Hebrews 11:17-19
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; 18 it was he to whom it was said, “In Isaac your descendants shall be called.” 19 He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.

All of the Old Testament is about Jesus, by his own words.

@@nothingbutthetruth613 why are you concerned with what I believe? Believe as you wish to, no one is trying to stop you. I’m not bothered at all by what you choose to believe. It’s your life and choice to be blind, not mine

@@fla-gypsy57 How can you call yourself a Christian and not be bothered if I don't beleive what you believe? Have you read Matthew 28:18? You are supposed to spread the "good news". All you could do is call me blind and you are the one who is believing in Jesus because why? Because he said so. This is literally called BLIND faith. No evidence. No proof. No reason to believe this any more than any other religion. You could believe whatever you want but don't claim your evidence comes from anything especially the old testament because it not only doesn't but it also shows the exact opposite of what you believe
