The thing is this gives wrong ideas to some people what it takes to get a body like he has. I can imagine someone who doesn't know much about lifting spending hours and hours on gym trying to get a muscular body when actually it takes max hour a day max 5 times a week in the gym

Dude, these Hollywood workout plans are always soooooo exaggerated. 6 hours of training a day? I swear they only say crazy shit like that so people dont question the steroid use. "Oh he worked out 6 hours a day? Thats why he's so big, couldnt be steroids"

Rapxxxure well if he said I workout 3-4 times a week, mix in some cardio and eat relatively clean and around shooting a clean up the diet a bit more. This would be a really logical and possibly true thing. People who know fitness will be like okay makes sense. Most people will be like ohhhh steroids. So even if they aren’t on anything, I’m sure they stretch the truth to make it seem super hard. I wouldn’t doubt it if a lot have shit trainers and overtrain themselves though. With all the food they eat they should support enough to build some muscle even with all the extra training

    • @DawnSentinel

Depends on what your training consists of though. I don't train to look good personally, I strength train, run and do calisthenics. I train full body 6 days a week to get that in. Mon Wed and Fri are lifting days. My average time spent in the gym on those days is around 2 hours, then I go home, do a 20 min core circuit and often head out for a 30 min run.
Now granted I'm not bodybuilding, I have 2 min rest periods, my rep ranges are usually 5-2 depending on the percentage of 1rm that I'm on that week, but if you take into account that an actor has to do stunt training, skills stuff e.t.c. for the role it'd be easy to spend that amount of time 'training'. It's just not 6 hours of focused low rest high intensity bodybuilding style training.

Obviously it could be used as a cover to try and hide the use of drugs. The training is BS.
They just can't say: I eat alright and lift heavy for 1 hour.
They need to be Gods among men.
Also, if they are on gear, they can't openly say that, because it's frowned upon, for whatever reason.
When I started lifting, I did close to 3 hour workouts, 1 hour aerobics and 2 hours of weights.
It worked well for general weight loss, I was an overall newbie and massively overweight (270 lbs), but it took a toll, I lost both muscle and fat ( a lot of muscle).
Nowadays I do 1 hour weights and only do aerobics once a week for 1 hour, the truth is: Time spent is not the same as results.
