Guys. You really didn't show us what you did. You didn't show the final wiring, the switching, how does it know it's at the the top. Is there just a guy sitting down at the drill all the time waiting?

I've loved the way that you've enhanced the rooftop patio. Plus, I loved the beautiful view from there.
I love this idea. We have a remote cabin built up off the ground about 8’ and pushing 70 carrying coolers and other things up the stairs gets to be more of a chore every year.

You should make a radient heat subfloor with a color lit clear cylindar that recirc's the water !
tbh i think it would have been better to counter weight it, then use a simple hand winch to pull it up. I doubt youll get out your drill each time you want to go upstairs.
