I drive the Omoda elegance and the driving assistance features are not working. They claim the car has front and rear parking sensors but when you are parking directly infront of the object there is no beep to indicate the distance. Furthermore, the AEB of the car. Again when you are standing infront of the car, it won’t brake. Please do a review on the specifications because the safety systems are not doing what they are supposed todo
Had my eye on the Tiggo 7Pro, when I test drove it I couldn’t keep my eyes off this at the dealership 😅 Suddenly found myself rebooting my thinking. Certainly a standout 😊 Great review, Barry
Awesome review as always. Great presentation, video & audio. My personal feel is stay with the basics - there's too much sound editing and music during the video and too little actual raw audio coming through. As consumers we literally wanna hear the road noise, the wind noise, the insulation and all that alongside the presentation of the specs. Other than that, great review!
Btw, in Indonesia, Chery has released the Omoda 5 GT, a 1.6L TGDI (as opposed to TCI in non-GT variant) version with a 147 kW/197 HP and 290 Nm torque, combined with 7 speed DCT and available in FWD and AWD setup. If Omoda 5 has 0-100 kmph in 9.59 seconds, then surely 5 GT should be significantly faster than that. The price was stated at IDR 489mil. For comparison, the Omoda 5 RZ trim was IDR 405mil. Oh... and to add another improvement, Omoda 5 GT uses independent shock absorber on the rear (instead of multi-link torsion beam in Omoda 5).
@jasonp2174 chery has been around for a while so all will be fine. They actually have been operating in China for a long time. You can look up their history. Until you do a thorough research, don't speak up.
Hahaha. Yeah. Omoda use C nomenclature too for their crossovers. Currently, globally, they use Omoda C5 (which was changed to Omoda 5 in Indonesia). Their future model would be C3, C7, and C9 (should be translated to Omoda 3, 7, and 9 respectively).
Great review but please consider the rear centre seat and foot and knee space for this position. Also, car fuel consumption display is rarely the same as when you do your own maths pump to pump filling.
I love the simplistic interior. This is a huge selling point for me.

2024?
How much specifically is this car?
Very cool car
Nice car overall. But that grill looks weird.
As for CVT? Not interested.
EXTREMELY AWESOME
For the fuel consumption, was the Omada 5 under Eco or Sports mode? Also what was RON fuel type used?
Juliet is fantastic
I need to know the monthly instalment with no deposit
Awesome review Juliet 👌🏼👌🏼🌷 I’m sold 🥲🙏🏼
Indicator sound? South Africans never use them so I suppose that's a mute point.🥰
I own Omoda S5 sedan and it's wonderful. It cost under 10 000 Usd in China
in Turkiye, omoda price is 40.000 usd 😥😥
@@aaltundag S5 sedan or c5 crossover? In Russia sedan is about 24 000 , but in China it's about 10 000.
@@vladalexeev8529 c5 crossover price
Is that all for the review?
Even the Tiggo actual fuel consumption doesn't match the claimed. Something fishy going on with the fuel figures.
Ten year warranty sounds good but are the brand be around still
The company will collapse before reach your warranty. If the Chinese king doesn't like the company someday, same happened to Jack Ma😂

Can this Cherry get me a cherry 😊😊
Xo to get many Cherries
Could you please explain 1 million km 10 years engine warranty
Does that include transmission
How it works
7 years unlimited km
That's just a Chinese trick, you'll spend way more money to fix other parts till you reach 1mil km 😂
@jasonp2174 totally wrong. Everything is not for laughs. Try to do some research before making comments
