Would a small pieces of rock or sand in the clay cause it to explode out while firing? I have some red wild clay that seems to have this problem
It may. I can't be sure :-)
So is the best way to fire outside in an oil drum of some kind?
You can make a pit for pitfire in many ways but I like the oil drum because I can easily move it around and it contains the fire well
