Great review Luna spot on analysis, we just did this one too. Not sure what went wrong here its almost like this "sequel" is another standalone vs Joker 1 which was genius cinema LOL!

I'm with you Lady Gaga was amazing as Harley and I loved this film as much as Joker 2019. There are far worse and more pointless sequels than this. I defend the ending I was crying by the ending it was so bold, shocking and powerful. I enjoyed Folie A Deux more than Deadpool and Wolverine!
I feel Phillips should have gradually built towards the musical sequences, saving them for the climax (perhaps just two key moments). These numbers could mirror the hallucinatory aspects of Joker's relationship with Harley, showing how their descent into madness takes different paths. They could have entrusted Gaga with curating the official soundtrack while bringing in an exceptional composer to weave a musical undertone into the dialogue throughout, heightening the lead-up to those pivotal moments.
Well they brought Zack Snyder's prison fantasy to life so that's something. What was Warner Brothers thinking? Joker didn't need a sequel. They should've made the Batman Beyond movie instead. I feel like Disney and Warner Brothers are trying to ruin these franchises at this point. Because they are going out of their way to do it.

Highly agree. I wish that gave Gaga more creative license.
