Love the tune… great vibe and some really nice tweaking throughout. Not to be critical, but could really use a cleaner/direct recording for full effect imo.
Well, listening to your other new vid, I think it’s just a room reverb or such on the master that’s throwing me off a bit, but it does add to the vibe. Carry on. 😊
Thanks, everything is directly recorded through an audio interface. Similar to older NIN, a lot of the distortion is intentional. I occasionally make cleaner tunes but I just picked up a cool distortion unit and it’s been in the past few songs.
@@mikeleuzIts the Ohmicide, which for this track the master runs through. Thats where that crunchy almost clipping sound comes from near the middle to the end.
The track after I wanted to keep the master cleaner so the Ohmicide is only part of a single voices chain and the master doesnt go directly through it. If you are curious its the starting voice you hear at the beginning of the next song, 1st from the left on veils.
