**Mar2024: the Titan will glitch out if more than one commander hits the vents with the nanite missiles, even if hitting different vents, so assign only one commander to nanite missiles/vent duty, some times it’s best to go into a solo session**
How to attack the Thargoid Titans. As we approach the final stages of the Thargoid war it is imperative that we strike the Thargoids where it hurts, right in the Titans, and what better way than to use the best all round AX ship, the Krait MK2. You could use a Chieftain or FAS instead.
Nanite Torpedos, Enhanced AX Missile Racks, Caustic Sinks, Thargoid Pulse Neutraliser, can all be obtained at Rescue Ships such as Federal Haven at Gera. Sirius AX Missile Racks can be found at Spirit of Laelaps at Luyten's Star. These are the nearest to HIP 8887 the home of Leigong Titan.

The clip of the bombing run seemed to have some of my best lines, but is not perfect, I was reaching low ammo and and throwing caution into the wind, but I liked the view at the end.

Be aware that in some sessions the Titan can fault out with the vents permanently open and glowing blue but the core not coming out, everyone in the session will need to relog to fix this.

When the titan glitches, ie stuck on blue vents with no core, you need to fly to 20 Km distance (assuming no other commander flys in and keeps the glitched session open, but you can load into a new session, though this session may also be glitched if its open, so solo or forming your own group will be the best option***

@@ianmcmanus4415 shwmae is a way of saying hello in Welsh (south), you can also say bore da for good morning, prynhawn da for afternoon etc

I had way more luck with an FDL tbh, also the TV beam is kinda pointless. If you go fast enough, nothing really hits you anyway.

I prefer the FDL over the K2 in standard combat, but for AX it’s ok, but I prefer the K2 for the extra hull reinforcements, it can take much more caustic and is better shieldless, which I prefer for low heat, though with a thermal vent beam you can keep cool. Haven’t tried the FDL for the titans, do you use a shield? Have a build?

@@buddakream978 the Mamba is for those who are really into AX Titan bombing, CMDR Mechan has a video about it, I intended to build one, but its a little too specific for me, you need to to be synthing heatsinks and I just prefer to be a little less efficient but capable of doing a Titan solo which the Krait2 is ideal for, also the Krait2 can deal more damage to the core so get you $2M faster.
