Great video, just one minor correction. Had Burnley lost the Orient game, they would not have been the first founding member to drop out of the Football League. Burnley's nearest rivals, Accrington Stanley (situated in Accrington, a town between Burnley and Blackburn) had to drop out the league due to financial issues in the 1960's. Accrington have now climbed back up to the football league in the 00's and are now on the verge of promotion to League One of the EFL. Thad Burnley lost, they would however have been the first club to be officially relegated from the football league with the introduction of promotion and relegation to and from the Conference.
Yes, they would have been. First club ever to be relegated out the league officially, I think before that season teams just folded and were replaced by a non-league club. Some digging may be required on that one.

And the Bee Hole End terrace was named because there was a former coal mine towards that end called the Bee Hole. I think the stand started out life as a waste tip from the colliery which was used by supporters to get a good view of matches. Eventually it was decided to construct a proper stand there and the stand kept the name the Bee Hole End.

The name of bee hole end and the bees on the crest derive from the fact that large areas of today's Lancashire and West Yorkshire were mainly built up because of the Cotton Mill industry, which came about in the industrial revolution. [Side Note: In Manchester's town hall and around the city there are bee symbols in and on council buildings, signs etc] The Lion has nothing to do with the King...( the badge already had the Lion many years before)... The badge was and is now a likeness of the towns crest which has been around a lot longer than BFC. The clubs badge was the towns crest until the 1969-70 season, but it made a comeback in 2009-10 which was the year Burnley played there first season in the Premier league, and it was the 50th anniversary of winning the Division 1 league in 1959-60. Due to both factors, the football strip was very much the same as the 59-60 strip including the towns crest. The following season the Latin was replaced due to a small dispute with the town council, resulting in the club wanting to 'update it slightly' so it differs. Paul Gascoigne only 6 times and Ian Wright 15 times.. old has beens... Wade Elliott? scored the goal at Wembley which promoted Burnley into the premier league in the 2008-09 season. Brian Jensen? Robbie Blake? Martin Dobson? Ray Pointer? Brain Miller?- far better mentions.

We never changed strips to emulate Aston Villa, there is no reason in the minutes of the meeting and it’s just conjecture to suggest we did so. In fact Aston Villa don’t actually play in. Claret and Blue, they should play in Chocolate and Blue, (probably a reference to the large Cadbury’s factory near the clubs ground). The Club were presented the current club badge in 1960 after winning the league title. We used a number of other badges, but returned to the town badge for the anniversary of the League championship winning team, which coincided with the team playing in the Premier League for the first time. A marketing decision was made that the badge which was used extensively during that season was now to much of a global image to ditch and so it was retained. The badge contains both the Rivers Brun and the Calder, and shows the apex on the badge. Plus the Bee Hope was not and inspiration for the bees on the badge. He also misses the diamonds and wrong attributes the lion to Prince Alberts visit, after all the badge isn’t really anything to do with the club. Burnley v Liverpool was not the last FA Cup final before the break up of the league due to the First World War, Sheffield United beat Chelsea 3-0 in the 1914/15 season.
