Reminds me of a creepypasta I read about vampires, and the strange moments when you walk into a room only to forget why you were there. This was awesome.
Final thoughts: This reminds me a lot of the movie "They" by Wes Craven, which similarly deals with a person suffering from mental illness and being pursued by monsters that hide well from humanity. It also reminds me of the creepypasta "Don't be so afraid of the Dark", what with the implied design and hunting habits of the creatures. The ending was a bit of a letdown, what with the camera failing before any big reveal or true climax, but sometimes it's what's left to the imagination that's truly terrifying. And Twilight writing the report at the end was very in line with the ending of "They". All in all, it was very good. Definitely gave me chills, because who hasn't felt watched when they're alone or seen something that they couldn't prove was there out of the corner of their eyes?
Theory: Twilight is one of *them *, or at least she works for them. She knew what happened to the Screwloose and the film evidence, but she lies to cover up for whatever is watching the ponies. That or she knows they're too powerful for ponykind to fight, and she's trying to keep everypony mercifully oblivious to *their * existence

You may answer yes, but now answer me this; why do you talk to yourself when you are sure you are alone, why do you look around in an empty room, and finally... why are you afraid? The answer, because you are not alone. Hello?...... Tell me, do you ever see something in the corner of your eye? A dark shape, like a shadow? Do you ever see a dim shape in the dark, an outline you dismiss as strain? Ever see that second shadow, that voice in the night? Ever hear that second set of footsteps behind you in the hall when you are alone? Admit it, you have. You know it. Imagine something that must never be seen, must never be unveiled. What would it do? Feel that breathe on your neck? The hairs on your neck standing on end? That is a sign from THEM, a small mercy on their part. It's Them telling you one thing.... don't look around. Now, next time you are in a room alone, listening to your favorite song, reading a good book, on your knees in prayer, or in a more intimate position alone, yet you feel someone there. Don't feel shy to call out.... Who's there?
The creatures in this video remind me of the shadow walkers from “A Fleeting Light in the Darkness”. The way they only appear out of the corner of your eyes and stalk and mess with their prey

There was a Doctor Who reference, but it wasn't the Silence, it was to Prisoner Zero (from The Eleventh Hour). That's why Screw Loose specifically mentioned "the corner of your eye" a few times. As to the creatures themselves, I never really had a particular visual in mind for them. I decided to let the reader's imagination take care of that.

Truth Be Told (another reading I did) took way longer, and that was because of the numerous VAs and SFX. Just depends on what is going on in the video. :)

A good reading, but I'd suggest lowering the register of your voice and adding a little background music as you get to the main sequence of the video. You just sound a little too... Listening to this years later lol! i had a theory, the "things" that she was "seeing" or something. is us, the viewer, watching the cartoon or something. She noticed us, somehow, but can only see us slightly, we watch, we listen, and we seem wrong. idk if it's a stretch, but i can see it. Thats why it would say "they" since there are lots of us, she knows we are watching, but doesn't know what we are. Everything else her spiraling into paranoia & instanty.
If this was canon I would have guessed something like the nightmare forces, but unlike the nightmare forces they doesn't hide in your nightmares but in the shadows ( sometimes literally) and they are more common, maybe they would have been called shadow forces? What do YOU think?
