He has proper audio in the FOREST DURING A SNOWSTORM while he’s like 3-5meters away from the camera. I know some UA-camrs that have worse audio at home
Yeefay Ng they are separate devices, if you were to see the video itself it wouldn’t have any audio that’s why alot of people clap before starting in order to easily sinc up the audio to the video when editing

Dude, I was just coming down here to comment about his audio quality. I'm thinking he has a shotgun mic with a really good fuzzy windscreen.
he has a seperate mic, the camera wouldnt pick anything up. This gives really really nice audio for talking but this also makes us hear every breath someone says.
Dudes got the best attitude. If I forgot the right tarp it would have ruined my whole year. And wouldn't go camping again for a while haha
I discovered this video last year around a time when I was in the worst spot of my life. I was just waiting for winter because anything snowy or anything wintery just makes me so happy. This video brought me so much joy in a time I didn't even know feeling joy was possible. I come back to this video a lot just to enjoy the feeling of winter, and to enjoy the outdoors when I'm not outside. I would die for Monty
I'm the same. Watching camping out in the cold winter in a snowstorm, makes me feel all comfortable hunkered down in my warm spot. Wishing I was out there with a nice warm fire and a furry friend for company. I'm in heaven.

Why am I watching this? I don't even camp. This guy is so damn likeable though, he has such a great attitude, very chill, and then you top that off with the world's cutest dog, SUBSCRIBED.
Mad respect. Guy narrates, takes care of the dog, sets up the camera, AND camps
He doesn’t just set up the camera at the end of the trek in. He sets it up in multiple locations along the way to film the journey to and from the campsite. No mean feat when you’re hiking with a pack and dragging a sledge in snowshoes.

My dog would growl at every noise and most likely pee on my sleeping bag and not go into hers but instead lay on top of mine. Well trained dogs are some of the most impressive things to me, especially ones who haven’t went to some special training.

The only real enemy in the Canadian woods are bears but they're sleepy time at the moment. Lynx and wolfs could kill you but the generally don't attack humans. If a moose comes by he could fuck you up though

conkerlive101 Yup, Moose don't give a fuck about people. I live in Canada and go camping a lot and coming across a moose camping or hiking is a big concern, everything else you can scare off or prevent running into.

It's been a few years since I first watched this and I still thin it is the best camping in the snow video out there. Just great. It makes me envious of the days when I was young and had energy to do such a thing, but now do not have the strength or energy to do it. . But now I watch it and enjoy it so much. That is good enough for me.
