I remember when we saw test shots and colored images(like 2 years ago lol) I thought "well that looks like shit" but seeing it all painted up, and with the clear plastic...man...MAN, it looks good, damn good. So good infact that I don't even care it partsforms.
I too really hope this is FP's comeback, Their Insecticons are some of my all time favorites, and I'd love to get some of their Headmasters some day, if they continue putting out figures of this quality, they will definitely be my favorite company again.

Very cool when a company is willing to put their money where their mouth is, so to speak. This wasn't on my radar at all but it sure is now, love the playability and interchangeability of the power masters! I always liked their Roadbusters little buddy. Definitely putting in a preorder and lookin forward to this guy in hand! Skullface movin up in the world!!

After a weekend away with the lads and WAY too much alcohol its time to sit back, relax and recover with Skullface.
Does seem like a fun toy and I'm with you I really like the quick switch/six night mold, tho I only have the latter. I can't really fit this in anywhere tho so will be passing on it, which seems a bit of a shame. Great job as always man.

Man I preordered my Dia-Z before Alpha and I'm still waiting on him. Alpha looks ok for what it is. Can't believe you didn't say anything about the hands and head hanging out in alt mode! That was my biggest gripe above the shoulders. Those forearms could've housed the hands easily and a simple panel could have at least made an attempt to hide the head. But honestly, I would've pulled punches too for free goods, it's too hard not to. Oh well. Still a good review. Honestly, I'm a huge FP critic because I'm a huge FP fanboy. I have everything they've put out, sans the classics cliffjumper upgrade. At least the accessories for Dia Z make a good attempt at a more traditional Dia Atlas alt mode. And my Alpha didn't break- but I got a replacement randomly in the mail the other day w some stickers. FPcore is so weird.
Jewced Man I think for me personally I'm more forgiving of altmodes than bot modes and even more forgiving of cybertronian altmodes
any ideas on splitting the waist without breaking it?

On Trianix, there is a transformation step not in the instructions. The middle of the foot (yellow piece) can be pushed up, away from the read outter portion until it clicks. This helps solidify the feet by better aligning the front of the foot that moves with the fixed heel. Can Dai-Z be similarly adjusted? Should be, since its the same mold

Im Late, but after watching your review you are one a very few who like Fansproject's SixKnight/QuickSwitch. The engineering despite its flaws is amazing and those figures are better at being a multiple changer than what Hasbro did and just repaint Sxishot.

how did FP get your info? Just curious more than anything - always wondered if the companies get retailers to send out review samples to get exposure or if the toy comes direct. Also, fortunately you didn't get the other release of this mold which has the broken waist socket :-P

You stopped at Crox so you haven't experienced the horror that is Browning? Somebody send this man a Browning so he, too, can feel the utter let down we felt. Nice to watch a pretty positive review on a Fansproject piece. The Dinoking set is turning out good, to me, as well but I coulda done without the shells (piggy banks?) but I'm a dumbarse completist.

I still think Maketoys and Fansproject are brother company due to when display sample in toy show they most likely come from same box / deliver by same person.
This year in Thailand toy expo , representation from Fansproject holding both Fansproject dinobot and Maketoys for a display.
They most have some connection somehow. so you review some of Maketoys so Fanproject want some try.
Fansproject best toy IMO is Warbot: assaulter due to IDW style and design very accurate.
