This is a review of Toyworld Throttlebot Combiner Transformers/Gobots 3rd Party Puzzler. where we take a look at the figures, modes, and conclude home improvement.

Their vehicle modes are awesome. Considering what the Throttlebots looked like, this is less an homage and more a reinvention.

Here's the names
Orange dumptruck = wideload
Golden car = goldbug
Blue car = freeway
Red car = chase
White car = searchlight
Jeep = rollbar
Did Aurora and Grind-Rod even get reviewed? I can't remember seeing videos about them, and yet they're the easiest of the set to find today.
Skit was dope. Great review, as usual. Toyworld went a strange way with this one. I don't quite get the move. Kudos though for them doing something different.

Funny thing is I would not compare this to a GoBots combiner since GoBots had combiner tech down better than Hasbro even could. Most of their combiners use no extra parts, except the Power Suits, and those could store all their extra bits in every form. GoBots had combiners down in a way Hasbro could only dream about.
But they were bricks...
Jetfire48 Transformers made in the 1980's were just as much bricks, and had leftover combiner kibble, where GoBots did not. What's your point? GoBots also were the first to use ball jointed shoulders, years before Transformers. Pretty impressive for 1980's tech in 4 inch tall $3 figures.

I don't know about this combiner, but the home improvement series has been immeasurably helpful around the house. Practically dancing on the ceiling over here.

After breaks on 2 of the 3 that I bought, I quit this series. These vids bring back memories, some good, most bad.

Lol yea that's the thing about it.
BTW the combiner DOES have thigh swivels, its those blue slot in connectors on the bottom of Sideloads legs, however they are ridiculously tight, so tight as to appear solid, but they do in fact rotate its just you have to break the "Seal" on the connection and work them back a worth a few times to loosen them up a bit.

I know this video is old as hell but, I just came across it. First off, Lionel Ritchie skit, GOLD! I knew about these Throttlebots but wasn’t sold on any of them, except Rollbar. I have to say, like you, I have no nostalgic ties to this robot. I will say, objectively, it is a cool bot and just has an old school pre Transformers combiner vibe to it. I think it is the color break up and color choices for the limbs. I see the Puzzler connection. The thigh swivel does throw me off a bit. Not sure what these are going gor now but, might be a cool pick up to feed the addiction. Thanks again
It feels like they released aurora and one person discovered that mistransformed foot mode and the company that made it was like"oh yeah we totally making a combiner,that was totally are plan since the beginning" then they rushed to make all the add on parts to make him combine

Great review and the final home improvement was great, if I pick these guys up I will probably keep them in there individual robot modes, I might try out combined mode a few times though, thanks again for the awesome video!

i love the idea of that type of knee, it looks way more solid than internal knee ports. on a side note, your mic hates ratchets. if i wasnt wearing headphones i dont think i would have heard you. on a side side note... is it me youre looking for... love me some lionel =)

I've said before I am no fan of the Throttlebots, but this looks really cool. I like the way the knees work. Seems like a good idea to save the individual bots some engineering troubles. Oh, and Prometheus needs to hit the gym when seeing that side by side lol.

Times like this I'm glad I don't like every combiner ever made,I guess I just have no attachment to the throttlebots at all. He looks ok but dunno why I'm getting a Megazord'ish vibe lol. Btw awesome skit and I dunno if u remember the music video but the blind girl made his head outta clay that looked funny.

For some reason the design of these toys reminds me of KO figures. I understand their quality is much better, but I really don't like the look of them. Part of it could be the semi flat finish on the plastic instead of the glossier finishes of MPs like a MP Prowl. Nevertheless, MP-10 isn't particularly glossy but there's no mistaking him for a KO design so I don't know what it is. On another note, I've been seeing some pretty negative reviews on Bold Forms Lonewolf. I'm hoping this is just a couple of bad apples in the barrel, otherwise I have wasted $80 buying upgrades and the Stunticon limbs because there is no way I am displaying Hasbro Menasor on my shelf.

Yea it does break it up but it starts to look a bit busy for my tastes

There are some oversized KOs at $20US each. They're the same quality (if not better as the company has been known for adding diecast to their KOs). Is that worth getting?
+DrLockdown i cant speak on the quality of them, but as a general rule i dont participate in the KO circuit
+Bobby “Skullface” Skullface L Toyworld licensed their designs to the company so the legal stuff's all good. The quality's fine too according to reviews with diecast and everything. You can check on the TFW boards or ask the KO company personally through email. I'm asking if it's good value at that price.
wow thats interesting, but i still cant comment on it because i havent put my hands on them, but at 20$ it seems like it would be worth the gamble

Ok ok ok.... First off let me start off by saying another homerun review. However, ever since I've been trying to get you to buy ToyWorld Dinobots or GCreation Dinobots you've been fairly against it. But then you buy this... To me it feels like this combiner mode for ToyWorld was an afterthought but it can out ok. Can't stand the "pig knees" but again it's ok. If you can pull yourself to buy this why not get a dinobot combiner? I want your thoughts on it
Because I didn't buy this for the combiner element. I bought it to have throttlebot representations. I wanted to show folks the combined form. But he won't be combined at my house on display.
