- I am always needing recipes that use a lot of eggs. This easy breakfast strata recipe, also known as a breakfast casserole with bread, is one of the easiest strata recipes you'll ever make. The most amazing thing about strata is that you can make it any way you choose. You just need the basic strata recipe to get started. I've made several strata recipes, including this breakfast strata recipe. Strata is extremely simple to make. You just need bread, lots of eggs, heavy cream or milk, cheese, and butter. Everything else is optional and uniquely you. Today, however, we're going to focus on the very popular breakfast version.

Years ago I tried to sneak leafy greens into my spaghetti sauce and thought I was being super clever by blending them up first before pouring them in. What actually ended up happening is that i turned the sauce green. #MomFail Hahahah 😂😂

Yeah I have about 6 dozen eggs in fridge A dozen on counter and about 3 dozen frozen and have given dozens away. I’ll try this recipe for sure. Any more suggestions appreciated. It looks really delicious also !!!
Looks like our eggs. Same color assortment and amount of dirt. I wash ours before breaking them.
I used mostly clean ones. The real dirty ones I wash first
