Plant names can be different in different places but in the US Rose of Sharon is a shrub In the hibiscus family. The low plant you refered to looks like St. John's Wort.
Yup, St Johns Wort for sure. I have both Rose of Sharon and St Johns Wort and very different indeed.

I believe that the green flowers are called Bells of Ireland.
The flowers that leave a global star like structure behind are aliums. I have them in my garden, too! They are one of the first flowers to bloom each spring, but after the daffodils and tulips.
Yes they are called Irish Bells; but I believe the yellow flowered bush is not a Rose of Sharon, which is a hardy hibiscus, and while I'm being miss know it all, I don't know the name of the yellow flowers
@@Motherhubbard170 here in the USA I believe the yellow flowers are St. John’s Wort. I have some in my garden that is blooming now. Google will know for sure.😊❤️

I am one hundred percent in Simon's corner on those cups! This is the right size for any cup of coffee. A nice vertical profile and not too wide a mouth. The coffee stays the right temperature in this cup. I might quibble about the handle; I'd have to try it. I love Vivian's pale blue 15 Euro plates too. All in all an excellent video today!

Great shirt Jerry was wearing, I want one. Such a laugh when Percy showed off his hair. It's so so nice when Isabelle and Percy are there. I love Isabelle's expression when she's not sure if she approves or disapproves of something, and I am not sure if she's going to censure or laugh. Easy to see why Percy's smitten, why we all are.with Château de la Lande and our extended UA-cam family.

We have very recently moved to a seaside village in Kent and yesterday my husband exclaimed “there’s a peacock in the garden!”, I thought he was playing around but couldn’t think why he’d say that, but, sure enough, there was this majestic creature walking around the garden with his robe of tail feathers dragging behind him, it was amazing to see and he came right up to the patio doors and looked in and stayed in the garden and on the shed roof for a good half hour and wasn’t fazed at all by the window cleaner clearing the gutters or by us stepping into the garden. Apparently someone has four pet peacocks, one of which is white, and they are often seen in the village, so we are hoping for many more visits 🦚🦚🦚🦚🥰

I just love your videos! The joy of La Lande is contagious! I believe the yellow flowers are called Creeping St John’s Wort, at least they are here in the states. We have another flowering shrub called Rose of Sharon, which has beautiful pink/purple flowers. 🌸
