Just finished spending 12 hours at Disney World with the iPhone 14 Plus. Between the constant use of the My Disney Experience and Play Disney apps, streaming videos on UA-cam (when waiting in long lines), and occasionally streaming music, by the time we got back to our car to go home I still had 54% battery remaining. For all of the criticism the iPhone 14 Plus gets (some may be justified), it certainly isn't lacking in the battery department.
I have the iPhone 14 plus and it’s a battery 🔋 beast. Last me 2 days with moderate to heavy use. Even though everyone has trashed on the 14 plus it’s a great phone 📱 to have for your daily driver.
it's trash, just get 13 pro max instead of 14 plus
@@lexjaysevilla no
60hz fone. No telephoto cam. No Aod. it sucks dude!
@@uzairzafar3087 again like I’ve said before I don’t care and that’s your opinion. Great then go get yourself a different “Fone” I’ll just keep my “iPhone”!
@@uzairzafar3087 useless features
Shame you didn't get the Xiaomi 12tpro in there. In another battery test it was only an hour short of the iPhone 14 pro max
What was the brightness?
The Asus ROG 6 was on X mode since the Benchmarking Test so from around 69% battery and that drains out the battery a lot more faster.
If he would have turned it off and switched to Dynamic mode, it would have outlasted the iPhone 14 Plus.
Maybe, but it has a 33% larger battery so that is nothing to brag about.
Maybe
Nah
Yup, agreed
@@catboy3471 Android needs 10000 maH to match iPhone. Androids are pathetic
Man im having a coronavirus, so I’m in my bed for the whole day, i Used my iphone 14 pro max almost unstoppable for 11:30 hours, played league of legends for 1 hour, and all of that time my airpods pro were connected, and i still have 13% battery watching the video about battery test
league of legends on IOS , do you mean the League clone haha
i have always felt the difference in thickness to go from 5kmah to 6kmah for the battery would always be worth it
Great comparison
He records his videos in 4K and at start of the draining test he played his own video which I think is also in 4K. Since I haven't seen him adjusting the quality, I think that Sony phone was playing that video in full 4K res, thus draining the battery faster at the start. That standby time is really disappointing though. Probably because of the immense heat the phone generates.
Sony fan spotted same here bro 👍
If not for the 8 gen 1 the phone would be 10/10
Samsung has a lot features turned on by default. Features average people don't use. If half of those were turned off the battery would last much longer
It a exsios version
Unfortunately not truth I have also note20 ultra
Delusion.
not really, if half of the features didn't exist, it would be like apple would have a very low battery and it would last practically the same
Whats the point of buying it then
Wow, this video has truly enlightened me! 🔋👏 Thank you for sharing! 🙌
Idk with ya’ll but after 8+ hours of nonstop usage of my iPhone 14+ I still have 61% battery left. I used 14 Pro Max to record videos but the battery is not as great as 14 Plus trust me.
Something wrong with your S22 ultra charging. It normally charges to 100% under 1 hour with 45w.
Temperatures while charging?
👌Excellent video brother, very useful
If less HZ used on Rog, let's say 120hz. He would definitely won the test easy.
Agreed
Where's the link for the Xiaomi? Said it was below but I can't seem to find it 😅
Forgot 😅. Here: tradingshenzhen.com/de/xiaomi-12s-xiaomi-12s-pro-xiaomi-12s-ultra/xiaomi-12s-ultra-12gb256gb
Thanks for testing, correct your voice a bit to make it ... softer less echo? Greetings
My iPhone 13 was amazing the first 5 month I bought this last year and today the battery went from 80% to 30% in my pocket from 11 am to 14 pm I didn’t even used it , battery was 100 💯 almost for 1 year and after updating iOS 16 my battery went to 92 💯 in 2 months
This is sad true same as you on pro max, it went from 100 to 94 and still dropping day by a day
Apple makes it mandatory to force you to buy new models
@@NickToTrick if you're referring to how they slowed down phones, they did it so the battery could last longer and it won't shut off randomly, it only applies to old iPhones
It happens with every manufacturer, i've still got rog phone 2 and its working like a charm, but my GF has s20 ultra, every update feels like camera has worse quality and lower battery life. I avoided updates and im doing great xD And also - batteries are same type in all smart phones, after certain time all of them are going to die, best option there is to find phone with easy replace for batteries. There is no magic in any of them xd
Can’t say the same I have an 11 since day one still at 86%. And no mager drops in battery life
What is the name of that game for making vases?
Amazing video only lacks heating test in benchmark or gaming part
What keeps me on Apple is the battery life.. it’s to good to give up
good evening your pixel 7 pro has a problem mine with the official charger is 1:30 for a full refill
Just look at his cable...
Cable or not that charging time is ridicilous.
IPhone 14 Pro max has a 27W charging speed cap, that is why it has a lead over Iphone 14 Plus - only 20W
S22 Ultra Exynos?
Which iOS version were the iPhones on?
Does 14pro max support 61w
My OnePlus 10 T in all kind of mixed usage, lasts 9-11 hours.
Nothing beats it, standby battery is 1 % overnight !!
But it's camera is so bad at its price
@@kanishkkaushik3453 Pixel 7/Pro's camera is great, but hardware is bad for its price.
And battery life is average, for its price.
S22 ultra is good in everything except the battery life and heating, for its price. Not to mention about its ergonomics while holding it.
Point is every phone is a compromise in something. These tech gadgets companies are doing business like this only.
Choose what's more important for you. I have my Pixel 7 and OnePlus 10T.
I will pick OnePlus 10 T anyday.
Pixel 7 only when there is an event or when I want to do better photography.
OnePlus ka back main camera itna bhi bura nahi hai, decently good hi hai.
Rest for day to day use, where you need to use multiple apps alot, switch between them, u need fingerprint Authorization fast,
switch between wifi, data, network reception quality and battery life or listening music/movies on OTT,
Onboard Speakers are much better on 10T, especially with Dolby Atmos(Cinema mode) uplifts sound experience for OTT contents..
OnePlus 10T is way ahead.
10t is a beast except the 2mp camer
@@abhisheksrivastava3787 how is s22 ultra battery bad? Its same level as p7p and is oneplus 10t better or what than s22u?
@@filler2036 S22 Ultra is similar to P7 Pro. If P7Pro gives you 4 hours SOT, it will give you ~5 hours. In this ratio.
OnePlus 10T is 9 Hrs +.
Easily goes to ~10:30 Hrs.
Hi Darius! Music is yo loud!!
So what refresh rate did you have running on the rog phone 6 because i even get 16+hours screen on time when on 60hz
Nop the increase doesn’t mean significantly better battery Life.
Probably he can get +14hour screen on time.
It was set to auto refresh rate 🤙🏼
@@DariusKracht so if the i phone was running on 60hz like you said in the video and the rog phone 6 on auto i wonder what hz the other devices were running on
@@SASMacDroid Watch the video again. They are on their default settings, so dynamic refresh. The iPhone 14+ was the only on 60Hz, and Sony on 120Hz as it does not have dynamic refresh.
@@andyH_England oh ok i didn't see that so the test was not 100% fair since the i phone was running 60hz
I love my iPhone 14+ I don’t really notice the slower screen refresh rate
thats because this video is recorded in 60 fps i think
but if you see these phones irl you'll probably notice the huge difference between iphone 14 plus and rog 6
Once you go 120hz you can’t go back lol. Whenever you’re used to 60 you won’t notice
Soooooo weird.....also considering GSMArena battery life test from the Xperia 1 IV shouldn't be that bad than this here 😔
Different way of testing. GSMArena test is more of a day-to-day simulated use, not screen on directly for more than 6 hours.
From this video I saw that the average battery consumption for IP 14 Prima for social media is about 8-10 minutes/1% but my iPhone 14 Prima only get 5-6minutes/1% do you think is normal? (battery health 100%)
61w has an 11% lead over the 20w as the iPhone charging limit is 23w.
it’s 27w tho
Poor for the S22 Ultra. Was this the snapdragon or exynos version? I've seen as high as an 11% difference in battery life in favour of the exynos.
It was the Exynos model
@@DariusKracht ouch. Snapdragon could have been even worse then.
There's something definitely off with the pixel. It doesn't charge as slow as in this test if you use the official charger and cable.
It's finicky with the quality of cable. If the quality of the cable is sub par then it purposely charges slower. Especially with long cables. Otherwise it's faster. Not fast, but not as slow as shown here
Right that charger was looking extremely Dusty with high usage...
I was thinking that, im thinking of buying the pixel 7 pro and would like to see how quick it charges with the included cable.
@@Makavelli2127 I have one and it charges the same speed as all the pixels before it. That is to say 1:50 hrs roughly.
Whilst the charging speed has increased as battery sizes have increased with pixels, the actual overall time to charge has remained the same
@@supaahflyy yeah i just saw a video where it charged in 1:45 mins, thanks for the reply, defo gonna pick it up 👍🏻
@@Makavelli2127 you'll enjoy it. It's a no frills, no surprises type phone. It works and so far has been reliable which is the first thing you want from a phone
He don't have OnePlus phone on this list but definitely using their USB cable 🤣
Lol
It doesn't matter because oppo is there
Could it be why the pixel charging speed is bad. I have a pixel 7 pro and it usually chargers from 5 % to 100 in about an hour and 10 mins. But that is just my experience. I use a anker gna 30 w charger
@@Amberkhannn 😂😂
😂😂
This is kind of biased man, it would be fair to turn every phone at the same refresh rate and same resolution because for example the rog phone runs 165hz and the sony has a 4k display
Can you do iPhone XS Max vs 11 pro max vs 12 pro max vs 13 pro max vs 14 pro max vs 14 plus battery test
Unreal
it would'nt matter.
Getting few years old phone with aged battery will get you unfair result.
Maybe if he swapped fresh batteries it would make sense.
Watching on Moto edge 30 ultra 🤩
can you please do an Iphone 13 and samsung S22 and Asus zenphone 9, im hearing pretty amazing battery life from the Asus Zenfone 9 but i cant find anyone whose doing battery drain test with it...PLZZZ man
how is the 14 pro max 61w?
rog 165hz much powerfull battery test than iphone 14 pro max 😱
Why dont you includ the Xperia 5 IV i dont get it
1st: iPhone 13 Pro Max 13h 2min
2nd: iPhone 14 Plus 12h 22min
3rd: ROG Phone 6 12h 2min
4th: iPhone 14 Pro Max 11h 49min
5th: Xiaomi 12S Ultra 9h 12min
6th: iPhone 13 Pro 9h 9min
7th: Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 8h 55min
8th: Google Pixel 7 Pro 8h 2min
9th: Oppo Find X5 Pro 8h 2min
10th: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 7h 59min
11th: iPhone 14 Pro 7h 44min
12th: Sony Xperia 1 IV 6h 37min
I have the iPhone 14plus. Amazing battery life🔋
I cant speak for the ROG phone 6 BUT I have the ROG phone 5s and the battery isnt great on it loosing around 10-15% battery every 45-60 mins depending on what you are doing and im only getting around 5-6 hours (sometimes 7 hours) screen on time before it dies.
So either I have a dud battery in my phone or there is something off with these tests as it doesnt seem to represent real world outcomes.
I have rog 6 and sot max 8h. No games no filming. Just normal apps, temperature battery maximum 32 celcius. I think battery its dead. 6000mah its fuckin joke. Maximum 4000mah. My s21+ close 2 years doing sot 120hz about 9h its 1h better. (On rog i used 120hz to same) 165hz its not big deal for me. I must go to varranty asus. My last asus. Sorry, trash smartphones. Sony worst sot its agreed but next 5 year battery sony not dead. And verry healthy about 95-100%. My last xperia z2 6years and measure close 3200mah on 6 years!. Measuring multimeter. Sorry for my english. :/ Asus its trash. Battery, motherboard not fucking reliable.
I had the rog5 as well but the battery is not that great. I sold it
@@benjoshd3386 battery on my Rog 5 was just excellent. Maybe you were using it on android 12? I downgraded mine to Android 11 & left on there. Battery was amazing

hi! can I take your video as support for tiktok videos? of course I would credit you
Without LTPO display and And with the highest number ppi 643
i think sony Xperia battery performance is good
If they used LTPO in the next model
I think the battery life It will increase by at least an hour and a half, it will be 8h 😁
Need to remove useless/gimmick 4k display
@@modestman6753 It's not about the display. The main problem is the trash soc manufactured by samsung snd 8 gen 1 that plays along the trash heatsink of the phone.
OMG amazing!!!
11:32 "not too bad" destroys the apple competition at 65w and on my testing on a cable that tell the Wattage it got up to 76 with the screen off, so in fact it charged faster that advertised
Motorola is cheaper than others here in India. So that's a bargain
can you drain test using mobile data? thaaaaaanks
Thank you
For a long Lasting battery timing , all you need to do is , to Chat down your Apps & not letting them Awake in a Stealth mode , so they won't be able to drain your Battery juice no matter what the Autonomy of your Battery is , even if it's 7000 mah
Bro why did you use OnePlus cable In pixel instead using Google's official charger?
He is manipulating users, I've seen pixel 7 pro charges in less than 1 hr 30 mins.
My LG v60 lasted 15hours screen on time on mix usage.
Sería genial con el red Magic 8 pro también

Ayo man, where did you eyebrows go??
IPhone 14 pro max charges at 61W? Since when?
I phone 12 and I phone 14pro max and one plus 8 battery test you bring please
I also own the 14plus and I absolutely love it
What cable is this on pixel looks dirty and so old...
Atlast that timer phone is winning bro.....
I am extremely disappointed with the Mi 11 due to its overheating issues, poor battery life, random restarts, and now it won't even turn on. This is my last Xiaomi phone. My old Galaxy S3, which is over 10 years old, started up without a problem after sitting in a drawer for years.
The most important metric here is how fast can they go from 0 to 50% which indicates how fast can you get some juice quickly and 0 to 80% at which point most phones will be capable of holding about 1 day. All phones can reach 50% in no more than 30m except for the Pixel and 80% at about no more than 1 hour again except for the pixel which means very good. Anything above that is a strech and those phones that have insane 100W+ charging bricks is not good. I have Xiaomi 12 Pro and the battery after less than 6 months is noticably worse. Like the damn thing needs 2 charges every day to last me a day. It is pretty much a joke. Lasts less than my gf's iPhone 13 mini.
The Xperia 10 IV has the best battery life currently available and it's a compact phone.
Even better than iPhone?
of course 👍👍👍🇺🇿🇺🇿🇺🇿
I'm also getting the iphone 14 pro max in the end of December.cant wait! What color did you get?
@@Segru space black !
Yes this is normal
If the rog was at 60 hz it would last more than a hour longer.
Best video
Well done
Bro for pixel 7 pro you are not using its official charging cable. The cable seems too old...... fake or biased review! 😂
i remember how android user used to mock iphone battery life, and need to carry powerbanks everywhere
The only think that Samsung shows off is their 100x zoom. Even though Samsung has “better” numbers, Apple always comes out better during use. And some say battery for Samsung is way better…. Yeah when you turn off all the advanced features to help the battery survive 🤦♀️
The battery is better because it's larger. However apple has far better power efficiency so apple gets away with using a smaller battery and still beats out the larger battery. If apple put a 5000mah battery like s22 ultra it would be around the 15 hour mark instead of 11 lol. Even more of a blowout
@@xShinobiXx probably a lot more lol
Very good job i Search new premier phone battery life and nothing !!
I had the p30 pro
I got the pixel 7 pro
I feel everything but the speakers were a downgrade.
markets everytime criticised the iPhone battery life and it feels good being apple fan that they have improved their battery much much i'll say massive that they are lasting longer than any other phones. now apple is the new king once more
you forget 3 details .... the apple is king of nothing , then Apple 8% worldwide and lastly ... the android CPUs are much more powerful , sorry for you Apple fag
China Is the king
Test ultra durable mode on ROG 6DU can go more than 15 hours..
expected something more from the Samsung as the "leading android manufacturer" to be a little better. Get the better variant then, the snapdragon.
bro x mode is a mode in rog phones which uses maximum battery and power of phone in order to max out performance, when this youtuber run the benchmarks test x mode was automatically enabled on rog 6 at 69% battery ,if he had tured off the x mode in rog 6 it would have outlasted iphone 14 plus because x mode increase battery use

good job.... Sony performing worst here coz i think its processor SD8G1, have some issues like overheat...
4k & no ltpo also makes battery drain faster
Tại sao sạc 14 promax 61W lại gần giống với 14 plus 20W
Technically here the winner was the rog phone 6 because compared to the 14 plus it has a 60hz screen but the rog has a screen with more video frequencies 165hz in theory that would be the one with the best battery life if they put 120hz like most It would have been the longest but if they had left it at 60hz it would have been almost double the duration 🗿🗿🗿🗿
