they're bottom 5 current patch, the tier list got flipped upside down the second I looked away

I'm surprised saibamen weren't on here. Just in general. The amount of times I've been in a blockstring only for some dude I planted like 15 seconds ago to come and save me. It feels so cheap, and I love it every time.

As a side note you didn’t know for Ginyu B, if Ginyu himself gets hit and only ONE of the force summons comes out, the assist desyncs for the REST OF THE GAME and pairs together characters that shouldn’t be paired, like Burter in the air + Recoome beam, or Guldo fullscreen + Purple Comet, it’s fucking BAAAD

Well, Trunks having low blockstun on that assist can be pretty useful for some characters. Specifically those with grabs in their auto-combos. You can use the Trunks assist to override the blockstun of the auto-combo and thus get around the pesky nature of auto-combo grabs whiffing on block because of the opponent still being in blockstun.

Worst kind of games to be honest. It's because players over-optimize gameplay present day and don't just play the games they like, everyone wants to be the best of the best of the best and it really takes away from alot of online games im playing right now. Everyone is watching someone meta game and emulates that and they pass that on to people who pass that on to people who pass that on to people and now everyone plays the game exactly the same. Apex, WoW, DBFZ, COD, hell even dragonball legends on my phone is like that LOL. I don't mind playing against skillful players(i prefer it), id just rather the people playing the games feel more human instead of animalistic. People care about winning so much, they forget their playing a video game, its crazy.

Anyway, it's not a bad thing to "over-optimize" as you call it. Increasing your chances to win is like the whole point of these games. To many, that's what is fun! Finding ways to make winning easier. If you don't like the idea of people trying to win in their competitive game, it's best to just play something more casual for the sake of your mental health.
Thank god that Sparking Zero is coming out and finally giving DBZ fans a fighting game that isn't this one, truly doing god's work those Sparking Zero game devs.
This is my second favorite trend of fighting game content (first is the "character touches oppenent with win condition, hard cut to victory screen") and i can't wait for someone to do it to Blazblue and the inevitable section on Carnage Scissors.

As someone who has never played or even watched DBFZ before, I don't understand anything that is going on, but I love it anyway.
19:30 I know I'm 2 months late for this, but since that assist has so little hitstun, if you time it correctly, you can actually land a character's autocombo grab raw :) (If its actually a true grab, like Baby, Zamasu, or UI Goku. Roshi and Hit's autocombos are considered hit-grabs)

I love this game to heart and played it since beta but man the discussion they made with the patches unplayable I hope one day we get dbfz 2 with all returning dlc characters as main roaster my favorite team was season beginning of season 3
I also hope the adjustment some of the base roster in dbfz 2 for example Hit could be more like hit in the Ultimate DBFZ MOD when he has otgs

Imma be real. As much as these patches are jank, it definitely does not make the game unplayable.
Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with Marvel first, but I'd take modern day dbfz over UMvC3 anyday (though, I still love both games to death)

We know some of the shit in this game is broken but yet we sxtill love the fuck out of it and even though our playerbase has been dwindling we see DBFZ content creators the reason why so many people are watching us even if they play it or not. Just looking at DotoDoya is one example or even Cloud.
Unfortunately Bandai doesn’t feel the same because they still are update Xenoverse 2 and they just left Dbfz to rot

I still remember when Lab Coat 21 dropped. She used to be able to combo into the buff/debuff lvl1 super. It was straight up broken. Now it’s a lot more situational.

The gotenks thing isnt a bug, it was even stated in the patch notes...
It is stated, but I don't think it was ever supposed to let you reset your special cancels
And now that I'm thinking about it I think it's the only special move you can vanish cancel on whiff
@@galladiated you can cancel almost every mové into a vanish and gotenks has always been able to do that, they only 236 into that

@susus13 no sir not on whiff other than Gotenks. Check the vanish section of DBFZ mechanics on dustloop pretty sure they cover this in there, pretty easy to set up in training as well. It's why beams, special grabs, and lariat style moves are all punishable when you whiff and can't be canceled during their animation or recovery. They can be canceled on hit but not whiff.
The crazy thing about the Android 21 debuff is that you used to be able to combo into it before it got nerfed. It was by far the best move in the game when it could

I saw this video recently and I remember when I watched this type of videos from moldy bagel, remembering and noticing the fact that these madmans of Bandai released Lab Coat 21 which is practically pay to win till she got banned on tournaments cause they NEVER nerfed her, they didn't know how to balance their characters and their game causing some weird changes like tweaking Frieza to make it so much worse, and the worst part of this? Bandai already milked every single drop of this game and throw it away to focus now on Budokai Tenkaichi 4, leading to a completely abandoned game for their own developers with some bugs and major pending tweaks they will NEVER fix or touch due to they already moved on and letting the mod community to keep alive the game which is kinda sad...
Measuring assists by hitstun is cringe we now measure assist length by gogeta levels
I will say one thing. That Barrier broly has? In practice, it's not so easy to pull off and for it to be impactful during a fight. If you can, chances are you didn't need it in the first place.
