It's funny because Lamb of God would sometimes take more traditional rock or blues elements and turn them metal. And here we are with Shadow of Intent turning Lamb of Gods metal into deathcore lol

I just feel it's lacking vocally except the couple highs. Not really the band's fault, Randy Blythe is just super dynamic, and this is pretty monotone. I would've loved to see a band like Shrine of Malice give this song a try. Instrumentally, they did great. Though there's a lot of drum accenting and placement I wish they would've left alone.
Their cover goes hard though.

This is the first and only song I’ve done karaoke and it’s one of the only songs I’ve listened to consistently since high school (2008). Like this is just…..this is absolutely incredible.

Holy shit. This cover is insane. Perfect homage to the band but still keeping their signature sound. That's how a band should cover a song. Make it your own instead of copying it note for note.
I mean technically they did copy note for note, but the drummer made it his own, Bens vocals however did his own tones on certain parts which was great 👍
