check out recent archspire and inferi releases.....might make u want to eat ur words....but seriously this is a cool vid but I've just never been impressed with this band. Def better than their earlier stuff that I've heard.
This ending combined with the animation is so intense and terryfying at the same time, they manage to depict how horryfying war is in just 1 minute. I can't even explain how much I appreciate this band on every single level.
That is what I really love about them. The lyrics are so poetic and true to what is happening on the planet. This song feels like a musical embodiment of the terrors of war. If wars were fought with music instead of lethal armament, I think SOI would be the tsar bomb.
Hell yeah, these boys have come so far. Evolving with each album and releasing constant bangers. Now they're touring with Cannibal Corpse! Wishing you lads all the best, thank you for everything.
@@haxborn im sorry but when did i or this band say/show that they sound like Cannibal Corpse? Sounds like you’re projecting my dude. I mentioned CC because they are still huge in the death metal scene and to be able to tour with them means a band has grown significantly. Think before commenting.
I saw them in May with Cannibal Corpse Lorna Shore Signs of the Swarm and a few other good ones I can’t express how awesome it was. Totally fed my soul
Chuck Billy's death vocals fit right in with this song, which is why he is my favorite metal vocalist and Testament has been my favorite metal band since 1991!
I want to compliment Bryce's work on this album, he is such an incredible drummer, creative and spot on, with so much feel and passion, I love his playing and he fits the band perfectly. Hail to you Bryce
@@brycebutlerdrums What hand technique do you do for a blast that fast at 4:00? I’ve watched some playthroughs but haven’t seen THAT fast of a blast yet.
Shadow of intent is revitalizing a sub genre of metal that I was beginning to think was growing to become stale and uninspired. I have been listening to these guys since 2017 and the level of growth I have seen has been amazing.
I love how this video is made by the same director, who did the music video for Ingesteds "Another Breath". And it kinda feels like a sequel xD. Very fitting! :D
Another amazing song that came out recently with a similar music video is Cognizance "Syntheticus II - Refuge." Super badass with David Diepold on the drums :D
Brutal, unique and amazing! I could comment this on like all of their songs tbh cause SOI have been putting out amazing tunes since their start. Even though the albums have slightly different sound, they never dissapoint and are amazing in their own way.
oh my ... after a hard week something is worth finally .. thank you guys .. the best thing happened in my is knowing you .. keep it up .. your creativity never ends ..that's what keeps people like me happy .
The blast beats part at 4:00 makes so much sense. *the year is 2341. Music history teacher : Kids, let me introduce you to the concept of blast beats. Here is the perfect track which illustrates the necessity to use it. See, blast beats are like spices : some like it damn hot, some like it balanced - this song is an excellent example of how well balanced can blast beats be in the Metal genre*
Hearing them perform this live in Berlin this January was just incredible. They performed tracks from all albums since Primordial, and that one, the coming fire and malediction were my favourites. God it was great. My first concert of this kind and started right off with bang!
Brutal and relentless without a doubt! Epic banger from start to finish. I'm impressed on how good this song is and the music video is simply astonishing. 🎧
Extremely awesome song feat my 2nd favorite metal band of all time Testament!!!! I just love how METAL bands collaborate w/other forms of metal bands and create crushing awesome good brutal music
Really wanna see a video of Bryce doing a drum playthrough of this song as well. Love watching the passion on that dudes face as he just absolutely fucking goes off, he always looks so damn happy!
I've been following this band for a while. a) Because of Halo but also because b) I love this style of metal. Having the luxury of the Clone Hero community charting all their songs and being able to play this song daily on Expert on Clone Hero is pure bliss. Thank you SOI for making this masterpiece. Easily the best song of all time followed by The Dreaded Mystic Abyss.
Another yummy track. Thank you gentlemen
sex!
Sam, you have to cover them. It's time
Underneath a sullen moon drum cover? Pleeeeeesss 🙏🏼🥶
Ohhhh yurr
O yurr?
This band is operating at a whole different level than everyone right now. Fucking unreal
They recognize the spiritual weakness of the planet, while still breeding violent energy that refuses to be withheld. We are beings. Let us be.
Eh, Vildhjarta definitely holds the thrown.
check out recent archspire and inferi releases.....might make u want to eat ur words....but seriously this is a cool vid but I've just never been impressed with this band. Def better than their earlier stuff that I've heard.
Chuck Billy is a sleeper vocalist. People forget albums like "Low" and "Demonic". This is great shit right here.
I don't understand how a band can put out so many beautiful bangers.
4:00 on is just... insane. This whole album is incredible, but that part just hits so goddamn hard
I can't get over just how good this is,
Chuck Billy just sit's perfectly into it all.
he does
I remember Ben talking about this song being his fav one on the album. It’s def my 2nd fav song on their album! Amazing music video!

lyrical art + musical art + visual art
an all-around masterpiece. you guys never disappoint

Saw them perform earlier this week in Brooklyn with cannibal corpse, was a fantastic concert, absolutely insane
You mean devolving?
Cannibal Corpse is a band from 1988, to sound more and more like them is the opposite of evolution.
@@haxborn im sorry but when did i or this band say/show that they sound like Cannibal Corpse? Sounds like you’re projecting my dude. I mentioned CC because they are still huge in the death metal scene and to be able to tour with them means a band has grown significantly. Think before commenting.

I want to see a drum playthrough of this song. Right at 4:02 is INSANE!
Absofuckinglutely
It’s up now buddy. Just uploaded it 16 hours ago
4:00 best part, not only of the whole song. But the entire album. Possibly their whole discography dunno yet. But insanely brutal
Unreal song. Phenomenal lyrics. 10/10 video. Hauntingly relevant today..
This claymation is not fun claymation like I expected... this is brutal and so relevant.
Not to mention very well done
So original... Blood, war, oil. Wow such insight.
Everyone toalking bout 4:00 on up but 1:37 to 3:15 is God tier

Chuck Billy one of my favorites, he tends to always be down to do guest vocals. I remember he did it with Light This City too
This song is a banger, one of my favorites from the album, but this hits different today. A masterpiece as always.
Wow so original i love this kind of videoclips not just a performance of the band. This is art
Давно уже ничего подобного не видел . А здесь видно , что была продана очень мощная творческая работа . В наше время , это редкость .
There Will Be Blood film intesifies, WHAT A BAND
Dope Art Direction for such an impactful song during hard times like now
Was thinking the same...
This band don't need a label.
A label need this band.
What an insane piece! Kudos to Shayne for the incredible claymation, and kudos to Shadow of Intent for the killer track! Keep it up everyone!
Thanks for reminding me what I loved about this type of music.
And that'd be an extremely awesome tour :
TESTAMENT and SHADOW OF INTENT
Just in time
Perfect mix of prog metal and deathcore
Shadow of intent is revitalizing a sub genre of metal that I was beginning to think was growing to become stale and uninspired. I have been listening to these guys since 2017 and the level of growth I have seen has been amazing.
All of this bands lyrics are like a movie I have to watch a couple times to fully understand. I like it

The combination of the gutturals, frantic riffing and blast beat hit you like a train. Not that I expect less from this band though.
This is one of the best songs this band has done so far and one of the best songs I've ever heard
yes!
The HEAVY INSANITY at the 4:00 Mark is BEAUTIFUL! 💯🤘🏻
