I can't even begin to tell you how the song is mirroring my life right now. A lot of people won't have any idea what the lyrics really are referring to. They'll think it's just a fun bouncy song with a nice message. For those of you, who have had to cut that path through the grass as I have recently, you know what real words these are. Lonely? Oh my , but hell yes. But I know there have to be others in this brave new world by my side soon...cause it's what I asked the Universe for. I feel like this really helps me understand my rage with being someone who had to stray from their career path. I feel like I was thrust into the world after fighting throughout college without proper guidance. This song makes me feel like that confusion and nonsensical flailing to find success is normal, and I just have to pave my own path towards success and happiness. Not one that is predetermined or written out for me.
