Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this UA-cam channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
India is heaven on earth for travelers
Volpe where are you? Like..for real 😂

I love how positive they are as tourists because some vloggers are pretty negative about how a particular a location is. And these two are just so adjusting and understanding of the way of life in other countries and I think that's what some other particular vloggers should remember you know - That the whole point of exploring another country is about experiencing everything the country has to offer, the good and the bad and to take it as it comes with a smile. Sending so much love your way :)
True. But such Americans ,they cant live, adjust here
Yeah they always go for the local experience (good or bad) . And I really respect that.
There is quite simply nowhere like India! I never tire of it - good thing really as my wife is Indian (from Kolkata - another amazing city). Going again in August - can't wait!
Hey that's really kind of you! Cheers to you and the City of Joy! :)
hello from Kolkata
Hello from UK :)
Rex Waldron love from kolkata. you brits are part of this city's heritage
Hey thanks! There's huge affection for India in the UK and Kolkata is somehow embedded in our consciousness. It's one of my best loved cities - and an amazing mixture of the old and the new. Peace to you bhai :)
Y'all. We could feel the energy on those streets! And naan the size of a table?! 😍 So excited to watch all your India vlogs!!
Right?! It wasn’t hard to make content in India because it’s just constantly thrown at you! In the best/yummiest way 😍💞

Loved this! You guys had the right attitude for visiting India and a really open heart and mind. I’m American but of Indian descent and I can’t cross the street when i go back either :)
Love how open-minded you guys are. Exactly the type of tourists that can appreciate India!
6:19 this song is there in every tourists vlog in India ! What's up with that? It's like while leaving India the Customs dept hands over a CD to this song 😂
I again thought of this today ! :P !
This must be a royality free song...that is why they are using it....
which is that song btw...
May be they think that this song captures the culture & colors of India :P
@Rahul Kumania thanks for the song
"I'm a model you have to pay me. You've to pay me your love!" That elderly camera shop person was amazing!
I was afraid whether of him asking for some irrelevant money but he was so cool and also a remedy for the previous annoying ricksawala

Fearless Jacey One thumb rule in India : if you can adapt to the maddening changes from the West world you are good. It's such a vast country where you get everything..Starting from medieval age till the best luxury. So just flow
I love India. Such a friendly place amazing kind people. You've made me want to go back. Udaipur is beautiful if you get chance to go x love from cold rainy UK x
Amritsar too 😂

I LOVE Kara’s body language when she eats something delicious! Besides her verbal reactions, her body language shows her excitement!
I laughed so hard at "there's a cow ..with a blanket" 😂
It's not cow it’s horse
U hve to 1st learn the difference between cow and a horse 😂

I'm so happy you are finally in India! My daughter and I just returned to Canada from our second trip to India in two years -- we love it so much! The only problem is, we are having a hard time getting excited to go anywhere else (next trip is supposed to be to Thailand) because what else can compare to India? Enjoy!
You're very right, nothing compares to India! However, we LOVE THAILAND :)
Love from india.. 😘😘😘😘😘
Glad to know you enjoy visiting India! Keep on visiting!
Love from India!😊😊
LOVE it!!!! Such a similar first day to our first trip to India so it was brilliant seeing the experience through your eyes! Brilliant! 😀👍🏼

Oh really..... Lol.... That was great one.... Maky, just wanna let u know that it's never about a particular language, it's always about an individual's personality of putting things in front of people like u and me to show his/her soul and spirit
Maky Mcthug rikshay person was constantly pissing him off and that was extremely irritating

if you are in delhi ever again, the first coach on delhi metro rail is reserved for female passengers and it is a lot less crowded.
I'm watching this in quarantine 2020 and the naan thing is hilarious and scary now! Lol
Was just thinking the same thing !
Me too! Thank goodness for Kara and Nate - Pandemic depression antidote.
oh India.. the energy is like nothing else. Watching this during covid was the most extreme culture shock!
So if this wasn't during COVID you wouldn't have culture shock?
You guys were meant for eachother
I’ve been to India about 15 times, and I had one rule: never eat street food! Talk about Delhi Belly! Enjoy you time in this beautiful country. I hope you’re going to make it to Mumbai. It’s so diverse and there’s always something going on.
Its not like tht... Street food is the essence of indian food....you need to choose only popular street sellers...its fresh and safe
U can eat street food if it is hot but don't drink water. Always have bottled water
During my first visit to India, two of my friends became ill (one had to be hospitalized for over a week) after eating street food. It wasn't something I wanted to experience, so I swore off street food. Please understand I love India. That's obvious since I have traveled there 15 times. It's one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited, and the people are just like Kara and Nate have encountered; friendly, helpful, hard working, and funny. I highly recommend traveling to India if given the chance.
Kathy Jollie you're really such a sweet person.....when are you coming next
You are kind, Sanchit. I'm sorry to say there are no plans to visit India in the near future. Life and responsibility stand in the way. It's difficult being a grown up. Mumbai had become my second home, and I miss it.
oh there's a cow with a blanket... HAHAHAH

You captured Delhi magnificently; its pace, its chaos, its kindnesss, its food...our family could almost smell the life going on in front of your camera.
So glad yall felt that way💜

Never saw a UA-cam video to capture India and all it's crazy charm so well. Great job
Alan Fogarty racist spotted. They are showing old Delhi not New Delhi. As usual western media brainwashed. Alwayy negative.
Mayank Kumar, Dont be so rude. He is not meant to demean India. He just explained how old India is all about. Offcource there is a two sides of each and every country but be humble while replying foreigners. Peace.
Agree
I never ever imagined i would listen to a song in a foreigner's vlog which i would have never heard before being a native! What's that song?
Self-quarantined in India right now and I randomly bumped into your Istanbul local food video (Covid-19 made me cancel my turkey plans so I was pretty bummed.) Two hours later, I have seen at least 2 dozen of your videos and thought the Indian one would be the right one to comment on. Loved your journey from that ice cream parlour decision to your 100th country. More power to you two :*
hahahaha i'm laughing so hard at the good translation talk! That is such a great touch to make sure its pronounced right!

Love you guys. Seriously I loved how you guys explained your experience AND never compared INDIA with any other country. Love how you both approach new experiences xoxo
The footage of you guys entering the city brought back memories when I first arrived in Delhi. I was there back in January, 2017.

Kara and nate, what an amazing job you have done with your snapshots and picturization. I'm totally impressed and more than I'm in love with you both. The way you covered the areas, people even their weird gestures, all of them you compiled with so sooo much perfection. Keep going guys and wish you all the very best for your future check-ins. Wow, awesome vlog. We are moving to India next year to continue our expat journey and your video has me really excited. I can't wait for more! How do you stabilize your walking footage. Are you using a special tripod or image stabilizer software?
The Jazzy Nation Where in India are you moving to? My husband and I are also heading over as expats, we'll be based in Chennai :) We love India so much! 💕
Tara Gray wow, what a cool connection. We will be in Hyderabad! How exciting. 🤗🤗

I am a retired Indian American. As an Indian I used to feel bad most tourists just see the surface all that is India. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of seeing ancient buildings in three cities in the northwest that constitute the famed ‘Golden Triangle’ and claim you have seen India. That’s like blind man holding onto the tail of elephant and saying an elephant is like a snake. Every state in India has unique language, culture and food.
I have watched a ton of VLOGs on India - specially food tasting. Nothing comes close to your videos, truly immersive, absolutely honest and so refreshing. Most importantly, the editing is so wonderful. Are you professionally trained in video editing? It also helps that both of you are so good looking and have such a positive attitude when it comes to explore new countries and cultures. You are a wonderful couple. Blessings and best wishes. I the videos I saw, you were in three cities they were all were in the north and west. If you visit other regions and I am sure you will feel you are in different countries. Yet there is something that is uniquely Indian and connects these diverse places that were 560 kingdoms before they became India. What other country can you visit which has the denomination of every currency note written in 15 languages yet has the largest English speaking population in the world with the largest number of newspapers and magazines. The Government works in English and Hindi or the local state language and most people can at least understand English.
That rikshow man was speaking english. See his level of confidence he leaves educated ones behind
engineer driving 000
Digital RoyceTv no,he was constantly irritating him without stopping...He had no manners... he could speak English but he didn't have any manners
Language skills come due to desire and practice. Maybe the guy's exposed to foreigners. And educated Indians don't like menials speaking good English.
Kara seriously has the most beautiful hair! Also, you guys are so wonderful with embracing other cultures. I work with many people from India and have learned so much from them about their country and food! Naan is sooooo good.
Thank you! 😭💞 that’s so cool! We sooo enjoyed the locals we met!💜
You guys are INCREDIBLE.i loveeeed the way how kara was jumping in joy after crossing the road :D Plan a visit to south india next time.. you ll get to explore an entirely different version of india
As an Indian i feel very proud when foreigners say that they just Love India.
I am sure out of all the 100 countries you visited, India is on the top 5 awesome ones. Possibly #1 as well. India is Love 💞💞
Every 100miles the Language, Food, Culture, People, Attire, etc changes. Diversity at its best. 💞💞💞 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Love the energy the two of you project. I lived in Delhi most of my teen years but I have never captured the Delhi streets like you do. Brilliant work!! Love your videos. You bring so much life and character and entertainment to each of the episodes.
I can’t stop laughing at Kara in the subway. I would have reacted the same way 😂😂😂
Hahaha it was INTENSE. To be fair, it was never like that again. I think we just timed it perfectly with rush hour at the busiest station!
Oh my gosh... that was NUTS! I can't believe the volume of people! And this is coming from someone born in NYC and who has spent a lot of time on the subway. The aroma on those trains... must've been intense. 😝😝😝
FireCracker3240
I was wondering about the general aroma of the entire experience. Maybe with the next video y’all can (discreetly, if offensive) describe the smells y’all are experiencing. The visuals are overwhelming and we can see your faces when you eat, but what do y’all smell? Good or bad; doesn’t matter. I grew up in Chicago and have been to NYC, LA, Miami, Houston (I live here now) & many more places in the US...the smells are not always wonderful, but definitely distinctive. It would be great if y’all could relate some of that sense to us. Thanks and great vlog as usual.
💜🖤
The metro subway experiences rush during office hours. Please check those rush timings beforehand. Have fun in India.
Linda Lautenburg racist spotted. They are showing old Delhi not New Delhi. As usual western media brainwashed. Alwayy negative.
I've noticed that so many foreigners who visit India usually go to the same old places. I get that Delhi, The Taj Mahal, Rajasthan, etc are all well renowned but there are sooo many other beautiful places in India like Kerala, Mysore and Ooty in the south! Plus these places arent as crowded and polluted and you won't feel so much of a culture shock there.
Hi Kara and Nate. Stumbled upon your videos recently and I must say that your attitude towards embracing other cultures is much more awesome to watch than the exciting destinations you visit. This particular video is a great example of that. Keep up the good work!
Keep doing what your doing because you guys have made many good friends and I just hope you never stop what your doing. Love the channel. Keep it up.

Ah, I hate that the man followed you like that and kept at it. I think I would find that really difficult. I understand they’re trying to make a living but no means no..
You don't need to be nice with this kind of people. You can say "no, thank you" two-three times and if he is still following you can just say "get ouf of me" with no smile. It will work :)

You guys should try ITC BUKHARA , they have the best food hands down , it’s Michelin star ⭐️ quality ❤️😛
paulson thomas Yeah, they have managed to boil down the spices according westerners palates keeping the taste almost same.
paulson thomas amazing!! That’s what i was going to mention them 🤦🏻♂️😆
Trust me I have been there in couple of occasions. It's the worst. If s suggest Radisson kebab factory instead.
paulson thomas it’s nothing special and it’s way too overpriced, I’ve had better food at street vendor stalls in Chandigarh. Why pay $70 USD per head when you could pay $5?
That place is highly overrated better go shangrila Eros or Sheraton rajputana or nueva there are many better option available.
I did a teacher training in India this summer, and this video is giving me major nostalgia. I looooved all the business and can’t wait to get back to it!
